This dress looks like the picture. It's a little thick, but was still fine for a summer wedding. I put this dress on after I took my wedding dress off at my reception. It was perfect! Height: 5'6" Weight: 115lb

The dress was pretty short, but it was very comfortable! Definitely a great dress for an outdoor wedding!

Ordered this for a Christmas party my husband and I hosted at our house. The dress arrived on time, and had two sizes -2 and 4. Size 2 fit like a glove. The dress is really beautiful and comfortable. That is RtR, well worth it!!

Great for a holiday party. Shinier and more festive than shown in the picture. In my opinion, it was more gold than silver. Got lots of compliments!

Absolutely beautiful! As many of the other reviews have noted, the dress does run tight around the chest. However, you can't find a more classic yet fun dress. Highly recommend this when you need a little sparkle in your life!

I typically wear a size 2 but the 4 fit much better through the bust and shoulders. The stitched pattern of the dress was beautiful and received many compliments. It was the perfect length for a work function but easily transitioned for the night out afterward!

I love this shift option. It has a fun sparkly element and loose fit, while still making a statement. I love the length as well on my 5'4" frame as well that you can wear a standard bra. I however found the fit slightly unflattering in my normal size as I have large hips. I recommend therefore sizing up for those who our hour glass!

Unfortunately, I'm writing this review long after I wore it. Here's what I remember: I wore this dress for a Christmas party and I received a lot of compliments! I can't remember why I decided to wear a size 4 but I did and it fit comfortably. I didn't have any issues with the dress. It's not the style that I typically go for, but it was shimmery which was what drew my eyes to this dress. I won't be renting this dress again though... There are too many other beautiful dresses to rent and try out!

I usually wear a 6 but the fit through the hips was a bit tight. Loved the weight of the fabric and color. Very unique.

The material is nice and it was perfect for a holiday party with it's metallic shine. It runs a little big hence 4 instead of 5 stars. Would have liked it to have a little more shape but my husband really liked it and I received many compliments.

I rented this dress for my firm's holiday party. It was SO shiny! I paired it with red heels and it was perfect for a festive occasion. As far as the fit, I am larger in the bust and have relatively broad shoulders. The 6 fit great at the top but the rest of the dress was a little big. I normally wear a 4 or a 6, but I think a 4 would have been too small at the top (which is why I wore a belt to give it a little more shape). Overall, beautiful and comfortable dress... I would rent this again!

I really liked the color when it was photographed, made the silver pop! I liked the length, but WITH HEELS. It was a little long for my liking without heels. If you are going for something sexy & you are in your 20's, I would not choose this dress. I would not recommend for someone who has a large chest either.

I wore the dress to a first communion and it was perfect. The dress fit to size but was tight in the bust area and I am not a busty person. It smashed my boobs a bit but worked, if I were busty the dress wouldn't have zipped. The only other negative was that the dress didn't photograph well in all of the photos that were taken due to the shine on the dress. In some photos it looked great but in others (depending on lighting) the shine accentuated the wrong parts of my figure. I would rent it again.

RTR recommends going a size up on your back up, but I disagree. I wear an 8 and wish I had a 6. I think it would have been more figure flattering. It's like jewelry on your body so you don't need a lot of extras. It is very comfortable.

The dress was beautiful, I got tons of compliments. It does run a tad small. I usually am between and 8 and 10. I wore the 10 and it was a little tight through the bust. It seemed to loosen up and hang better through the evening. Also it appears more gold in person than it does online.

This dress is made from a textured material with silver thread woven in. It photographs very silver/shiny with some photography flash. It was very comfortable and conservative enough for a business holiday party. I wore the size 6 and it was a little roomy in the belly and bust but comfortable and not tight at all through the hips. Maybe I should have gone with the 4? I'll never know. I had the 8 as a back up and it was definitely too big. Bottom line, I would recommend the dress.

Loved this dress! Wore it to my office Holiday party and got so many compliments! More of a sheath style, so it is super comfortable. I am 5'4" and it was just above my knees. It is a high quality, thicker metallic fabric with white embroidery detailing throughout. So beautiful and really worked well for the cocktail affair!

I enjoyed wearing this dress to recent wedding's evening rehearsal dinner. The dress was modest and understated, and the metallic shine helped me stand out in a big room.

It seems very short in the photos, but I am 5'2" and in heels it was a nice length for a work party. Easy to move in and comfortable. Matching shoes was the hardest part. I wore brown heels, but think that gold or cream would have been better.

I wore this to a holiday symphony concert and semi-formal dinner and loved it! The dress fit beautifully and had just enough sparkle to be festive without being over-the-top. The fabric was stiff enough that the dress held its shape and did not wrinkle even after sitting for an extended period but was comfortable the whole evening. I would happily rent this dress again.

Flattering shift dress, with beautiful lace details. The actual color of the dress is a silver with some gold threads throughout, so it is a sparkly dress, but still looks grown up enough to not make one feel like a disco ball. Fun and easy to dance in, very comfortable dress. The candle light caught the dress at my angles, a perfect number for a dim room. Will consider renting again.

What a stunning dress! WAY shinier than I expected - in a great way! I wore this for New Years Eve, and it was absolutely perfect. I ordered the 2 and the 4 because I've never worn the designer before, and the 2 fit! There's no stretch in the dress, but the shift silhouette gives you enough breathing room. The dress is a little bit on the shorter side, but with a pair of black tights, it comes off as cute rather than risqué.

This was pretty for a winter party. Definitely is shiny and very silvery, but really pretty pattern and detailing on it. I would recommend if you want something a little bit different, but that is still classic and conservative. I wore it to my husband's work holiday party.

This dress was beautiful and the material sparkled in person--great for New Year's Eve. My only issue was the its description as a shift dress, it was more fitted. I have thicker thighs so I had to size up and, as I always find with straight cut dresses for my shape, it was too big up top and barely fit my booty. I still rocked it because it was a fab dress.

I rented this dress for an office holiday party. I was looking for something festive with a conservative cut. I also wanted something that was loose around the midsection as the holidays have gotten the best of my fitness routine. Unfortunately, I made it through the night without a single picture in the dress. I ordered the size 4 with a size 2 as a backup. I ended up wearing the 2 which fit, but still had a little bit of room.

True to size (I'm a 10 and the 10 fit), but arm holes were large - could see my bra. Coulda gone braless, but always rent 2 dresses so I have options. Lovely for holidays, nice glow to it - not sparkle, but a real warm shine to it with silver, gold and white shimmer. Pretty and not too long or too short.

The dress was a little big (if it came in petite it would have been perfect) but because of the shape of the dress you couldn't tell so it still worked out well for my summer cocktail event.

The dress is definitely cut to have the hips in a certain spot. I have a shorter torso and it didn't hit me in the right spot so the fit was off and I didn't think it looked very flattering

The print of this dress is great. The length was a little too long (hit at the middle to upper part of my knees) and dress was cut in a way that made it just hang on me.

To be fair I'm more of a 00 but that's why I like rent the runway bc designers have a more tailored fit. True this is a shift but still too big for me
