This is a beautiful dress, it runs a little small, I am usually a size four or small, but I wore a SX. I loved the way I looked, and got many compliments from other women.

The fit was clingy and just had to make sure the slip underneath stayed put but other than that it was fine. I received a lot of compliments on this dress!

Wore this to a work evening event, and it was perfect. Very pretty purple color. I'm pretty curvy, and this had plenty of room in the hips. I was surprised I was able to wear the small, and the stretch in the fabric helped.

No slip required, super easy and comfortable. The XS fit well on me; I'm 5'3", 117lbs, 34A. There was a little bit of extra fabric at the hips but not enough to be noticeable or make it feel too large to wear. I nearly always wear a 2 and the XS was just the right size, the S would have been very big! Wish I could buy this lovely dress :-(

I was nervous about this dress bc sometimes I feel like I have thicker arms and sleeves don't look great. However it is so so comfortable and quite flattering. I'm between a 4-6 and the small fit great. The only issue is that bc the fabric has lots of holes as the design it's sort of a booby trap - when I got the dress the hanger was poking through some of the holes stretching them, then when I zipped it up the zipper kept puckering bc it would get stuck on holes and threads. Still, an awesome dress - unique but work/work event appropriate, and did I mention comfortable?

From the color, the length, the fabric feel and stretch to the awesome fit, I absolutely loved this dress! I would rent it again in a heartbeat as it can be tough to find a dress for curvy girls! The purple is such a flattering shade and it fits so nicely. A+

Super soft and comfy material - delicate details and not too revealing. I'm 5'4" and 155 and wore a medium and could have done a small. But glad it was M because it was for work.

I loved this dress. It stretches and is very easy to move in. I could've have worn an XS, but the larger hips of the dress were easily hidden by my jacket. Lots of compliments!

Rented the for a work event and it was another dress I received tons of compliments on. It did run a bit big so the xs was good but also was the perfect sleeve and hem lengths!

The dress fit really well. I was very comfortable and was able to eat, dance and travel the NYC subway in total ease and comfort. All while looking absolutely fabulous!!! I consider myself "hippy" and was skeptical when I ordered the dress. I took a leap of faith and was pleasantly surprised that it worked out so well. I am a first but definitely not last time renter and this was a step out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend RTR to everyone!

I rented this for a garden wedding. It is a stretchy fabric so fits well over the curves. I felt elegant and sexy--a great combo!

This dress is very slimming. It runs quiet large and has a stretch to it. I'm normally a size 6/8 more towards the 8 lately but I fit comfortably in the small. I didn't even bother trying on the medium. I would definitely rent again.

The dresss runs a little large, I wore the XS, but because of the strechiness of the material going a size down fit perfectly. I received compliments all night long and I hated to send this gem back. Rented for a formal wedding because the dress is conservative (in length) yet fun (because of the quasi-cutout design). Would definitely rent again!

Selected this to wear to office and then Friday night event afterwards. Ran a bit but, should have ordered the XS, was past the knee on me but not in a bad way. Very comfortable to wear.

-Fit: I wore the L (and had the M as my back up size.) The L fit well but was a little big in my hips, versus the M which fit exactly the same... except a little too tight in the hips. I went with wearing the L because of this. The way the dress is made, the fabric is sewn together on the sides so in the hip area, the seam kind of poked out some from my hips? It was almost like the hip placement was too high for the dress? Granted it didn't poke out so badly that it was noticeable in pictures, but if you are not a big hip and butt person like me, then I recommend a size smaller or some double sided tape! As for the length, at 5'7 it came down to my mid knee cap. I wore nude flats with the dress. I liked that it has the cap sleeves too! -Pros: I rented this dress because I wanted something nice, but not over the top, but still appropriate and not low cut or too young for me, to wear during my engagement photo session. The purple is a gorgeous deep purple! I feel like if you chose your accessories correctly, this could be worn any time of year. I wore it for my outside spring engagement session, which turned out to be a great idea as the purple really popped in the pictures against the scenery. The dress is comfortable to wear and the fabric stretchy so I felt like I could move in this dress. The few people who were with me said it was pretty and very flattering on me. Another pro is that it is flattering for your figure. I loved this dress so much that I am considering buying it or something super similar! -Cons: Only con is the hip seam weirdly placed. But easily solved with a smaller back up size or invisible tape! -Tips: You need a strapless bra. I would recommend wearing spanx/shapewear.

I'm normally a 6 or 8 so I ordered the medium, which still had some room to give. The fabric is very lightweight. The only downside with the dress was that the dress I received had some pulls from wear. It wasn't a major issue, but I'm guessing it has been worn a lot, and is a more delicate fabric. I wore it to an award ceremony for work, and I think it fit that event very well! I got a lot of compliments and am definitely sad to send this one back

Glad I got the small and medium instead of the medium and large. The small ended up fitting perfectly, the medium was actually a bit too baggy, . I'm tall and this was the perfect, classy dress for my son's baptism. My chest is uncharacteristically big right now, as I'm nursing, and this fit well both in that area and my hips. The material has some give, so it's forgiving! It was very comfortable as well.

Fit was great! I had to size down. I am 5'2" and super curvy. Normally I go large due to my bust. But this was perfect! Loved it! Color was amazing. I was so happy with this dress.

Amazing color and comfortable style! The dress runs large and the fabric has a lot of stretch , so be sure to size down for your backup. The fabric had a surprising amount of stretch which made it very easy to move and maneuver in. There was room in the bust but I would recommend wearing strapless bra because of the sheer area along the top of the dress above the bust. The dress is fitted at the waist, there is room in the hips due to the great stretch in the fabric. The sleeves are short but not capped and certainly appropriate enough for a work environment. At my height of 5”7 this dress passed my knee and could be considered almost tea length on someone who is shorter. I would wear this dress to work, a more formal bridal shower or a charity luncheon. I would pair it with a nude heel and neutral accessories.

This dress was super comfortable and perfect for a baptism. The sleeves and length kept it conservative while the color and swirl texture made it sophisticated and chic. I received several compliments and felt great all day.

I absolutely love this dress! I got a size large and it's a little roomie, which is great since I haven't lost all of my baby weight yet (he is 8 months old) and am still nursing! The length is great for work and it made me feel both skinny and polished! I will definitely wear it again before I have to send it back or I might buy it!

This dress is so soft and easy to wear, it almost felt like PJs! The cut outs are super flattering on the top, and the color is more vibrant eggplant IRL. I'll admit the length isn't the most ideal for shorter gals, but I still enjoyed wearing this and got tons of compliments!

This dress is a deep eggplant color and the fabric is stretchy and very easy to wear. Like other reviews it runs very big. I order a medium and small and ended up wearing the small. Perfect for an evening wedding or date night!

I took a risk renting this dress, as it had not been reviewed yet! I agree with recent reviews - this dress definitely runs large. I usually wear a small, sometimes a medium, and the small was too big for me. Size down for this one! My boyfriend's mother actually ended up wearing this dress, and it looked amazing on her!! She said that it was very comfortable all night. The color of the dress is beautiful and the quality was great. I hope to have the opportunity to rent this again (in a smaller size!) so I can wear it!

The dress even though xs was a bit bulky in The waist/ hips and I have wide hips, color was gorgeous. Dress had slight pull in it at hem line, no one noticed except my mom!

This purple color is really vibrant without being overwhelming. The XS fit well without being too tight (normally I'm a small). It was figure flattering and the pattern was subtle but added extra interest. The condition of the dress wasn't the best I've had from RTR but nothing anyone else noticed.

I liked this dress, it's great for work, I'm an event planner and run around a lot. It was flattering and conservative, I only left the 5th star off as I was expecting a firm bandage dress, it's very soft cotton.
