I ordered a 2 which was a little bit tight but I made it work

The wedding I went to was formal and this dress felt very appropriate. The fabric was thick and expensive feeling. I enjoyed wearing this dress and felt comfortable wearing flats with it as it was an outdoor wedding with grass.

This dress felt so great on! It was really comfortable - I'm a sucker for no fuss undergarments so getting to wear a regular bra is a priority for me. The length was just the right, color beautiful, style classy, and the bonus: pockets, YAY!

I would have worn the 8 but the 6 fit me great as well and it has POCKETS!!! Yay! Love pockets :)

Loved the pockets on the dress! I was able to keep everything on me and not have to give it to someone else. The dress was true to size. The only thing I didn't like about the dress was that there was rubbing of the under arms with the rougher outer shell of the dress. A little extra deodorant did the trick. Overall, I would get this dress again!

Runs small in the chest. Had to wear a shawl to camo the arm pit area scrunch up.

This dress was wonderful for my sorority's 66-year reunion. It has pockets and was the perfect length. The zipper got a bit held up in the back getting it all the way up, definitely needed some help. Got tons of compliments and was a flattering silhouette.

Loved this dress-- so flattering and easy to wear. Beautiful heavy brocade fabric (but not too heavy) for fall/winter. You could even dress it down with a cute denim jacket. It DOES run small so size up one or two sizes. I'm normally an athletic size 4/6 who wears a 34B bra... and the size 8 was a bit snug, especially in the upper torso. Definitely would not work for someone with a larger bust.

Pretty dress that was slightly snug in the chest, but I have a large bust so that’s to be expected. Dress was very comfortable and flattering. Also I was able to wear a normal bra.

I wore this dress as a MOTB dress. It was flashy, but not “show stealing”. I ordered a 10 and a 12. Both of them fit, but chose the 12 because it didn’t look so tight over my chest. I didn’t mess with a clutch and just used the pockets! I shoved my glasses, my phone, and snacks in those pockets and you couldn’t even tell. I loved the compliments I received and I have already scheduled my next rental!

The dress was so much prettier in person than website. The fit was practically perfect. I'm small Busted and wore a push up bra, which helped. I loved having the pockets. It was very comfortable. The material is not stretchy so if you're bigger Busted, it might be an issue. My 1st time renting and am very pleased. It actually arrived a week early. Had no issues returning it. I'm glad I made the decision to rent....I don't have a dress sitting in my closet that I'll probably never wear again. Highly recommend RTR!!

I was worried it would be too short (I'm 5'9) but it was a great length. I had lots of compliments!

Wore to emcee a 50's themed event and the retro style worked perfectly. Comfortable but runs small so I had to size up for it to zip. Has POCKETS so a total win. Liked the fancier pattern and sheen to the fabric.

I really loved the flirty, flattering fit of this dress. I'm a true size 6 and it fit perfectly. 5'4, 125 lbs. I got many compliments abs the jewel tones were perfect for a fall wedding. Would rent again.

I wear a 6 or 8 and the bust made me need the 8. Very comfortable. Wore it to a quinceanera. Colors are gorgeous. The best part of any RTR dress is the ability to wear a regular bra!

I was glad I read the reviews about the top being tight because that was definitely the case. I seriously considered the larger size, but the fit on the smaller size held the girls up so well, that I didn't think the looser size would be beneficial. My only complaint was the waistband rubbed a bit towards the end of the afternoon and the neckline was a little loose. Otherwise, a beautiful dress that I will likely rent again. I mean, the pockets were a lovely surprise!

The color of this dress is phenomenal, loved the pockets and the style. Unfortunately I couldn't wear this dress in size 8 because the chest was super constricting. I was able to zip it but it was too uncomfortable. I think this dress would have fit fine if I didn't have such a large bust (34F). I would have liked to have tried the size 10 but RTR wouldn't send me a new size (apparently they don't do that anymore). So, if you have a large bust, size up.

I ordered a 4 and 6 as a back up for a semiformal holiday party. Ended up wearing the 4 as gave the fit I wanted but there wasn't much difference between the two. I carry weight in my stomach & hips but the material was thick/structured enough to hide all my trouble spots. Honestly would have been fine wearing without spanx. Giving 4 stars because the top was tight and smushed me down a bit. As a result I chose not to wear a bra -- however the fabric made that a non-issue. Would rent again!

This was a great dress with a fun boatneck-ish neckline and flattering pleats. It was a little snug in the torso but overall worked really well as a backup for a dress that didn't fit!

This was a fun, sparkly number for a birthday party dinner. The metallic in person is really pretty and the cut/fit is very flattering. Not the most comfortable dress I've ever worn (it's a bit constricting), so giving this one a 4 out of 5.

Wore this for an evening wedding held outdoors at a golf course country club. Would have worn the ten but the zipper malfunctioned so wore the 12 which was too big on top. I ended up pinning the straps to my bra strap to keep them up. Loved the flare to the skirt and the deep pockets for my cell phone. Would consider this designer again. Received many nice compliments.

The shine of the dress isn’t really done justice by the picture. Material is much prettier in person. It was very tight in the rib cage and arms at the bottom but then loose at the top. Not stretchy at all so if you don’t have a small waist beware. Also material was thick enough to not have to wear a bra.

I'm 4'10" and roughly 100lbs and it's always hard finding a dress but this size is true to its size and it fit perfectly and left me enough room even after I bloated from too much food :) the length was just under my knee which was great for the occasion, very professional and very elegant. 10/10 would rent again

Really big fan of this dress, has some shimmer up close but isn't noticeable from a far or "glittery". No stretch in the bust. I barely zipped up into the 4 and it still looked good without the fabric being able to give/stretch. I am a taller girl and it was not too-short by any means. Was a huge hit, I really liked this dress a lot and would highly recommend.

This dress was so much more beautiful in person. It has a slight, but not gaudy simmer to it. It was super comfy and has pockets :). I normally wear a 2, but I decided to wear the 4 this time as it was a bit more forgiving for the food and drink I'd be having that night. The length was just a bit over my knee.

I am 5'8, 135 lbs, 34A bra size. I normally wear a 2/4 and the 2 fit very well. A tad snug above my waist, but not bad. Very comfortable material and I loved the pockets. Got a lot of compliments! Would highly recommend.

I wore this to a February wedding and received so many compliments! The dress was very comfortable and the perfect length for me. I normally wear a size 2 or 4 and ordered both. The 2 was a little tight in the chest area so I wore the 4. I also loved that it has pockets! I recommend this dress!

After reading the reviews, I knew that the dress was going to be sparkly, and I actually really liked that about it. It gave it a little something extra. I loved the fit and the pockets. I wore this to a semi-outdoor wedding and paired it with a shawl, tights and pumps. I felt it fit true to size but was tight in the chest area for me.

The dress is beautiful and the pockets are a bonus! It's pretty tight in the bust. If you are chesty I would consider ordering up a size.

Fit super well and was long enough for me at 6'1. I was able to wear a strapless bra with no issues. Color was as pictured and I'm so happy I got this dress!

I had to wear the smaller size (8) because the zipper on the other was broken when I received it. It fit, but was tight so I would definitely say it's true to size. I imagine this can be a tight fit for women with larger busts. I have a small bust and it perfectly. I may also caution taller women against this dress. I'm 5'2" and it was the perfect length. As previous borrowers have noted, it's more pink than the model shows but it's beautiful.

Nice to be able to wear a regular bra. Definitely more purplish than it looks online, but a very pretty color with a sheen and texture.

I had to size up on this one even though I'm a solid 10. The zipper on the 10 was really difficult and we were afraid to break it- but even if it did zip it would have been uncomfortable. I got a lot of compliments on the dress anddddd it has pockets!

I loved the look of this dress online and it was great for a wedding. I'm 5'3" so if a dress is too long it usually makes me look squatty but the flare at the bottom made the length look a lot nicer. Though it was a little snug in the chest area it was overall very comfortable. The color is definitely pretty sparkly and a lot pinker in the light but I still thought it was gorgeous. Overall I loved this dress and thought it was very flattering! For the right occasion I would rent again.

Perfect fit! Pockets for the win! It's definitely a magenta pink color and less purple. Loved the detail at the waistband. Would definitely rent again!

The 2 fit but the top was very tight. The 4 fit perfectly. The color and texture are gorgeous!
