I tried this on in-store so I knew it ran small. I'm usually a 6, sometimes an 8 if fitted waist, and the 42 fit perfectly. Elegant. Classy. Great details. Probably best on tall/without curves.

The 38 was a bit too tight around my hips but I was swimming in the 40. I'm usually between a 2 and a 4. It's a cute pink dress but nothing special and I don't think it was that flattering. Plus it wrinkled quickly. I wore it to work (might be too short for some work places) and an outdoor concert that evening (I had to steam it before I could wear it again)

The picture speaks for itself the stress is not good. It was wrinkly it didn't fit right the bow part was way too high it was just over all bad

Beautiful pink color. Was perfect for s super fancy date night but it was so hot that I was afraid of sweating through and having visible marks even though the material is decently thick. Could be dressed down with sandals (eg: jack rogers) or dressed up with a fun nude/pastel heel

Flirty, cute, different design for summer. I like how it is a v-neck but not super low cut. The material is thin and prone to wrinkles and has slightly more of a sheen to it than in the photos. Ordered my usual Carven size (38), which is a size up from my typical US size (4). Looked fine but felt a bit ill-fitting...much looser up top and a bit tighter on the bottom than other Carven. It would be good for the straight and narrow body type like the model and ideal for someone with a large chest and small bottom.

Lovely material, pretty dress. Just a bit big, but wore with a belt and leggings. Might be a good fit later in the maternity cycle

I have rented a Carven shirt before so I wasn't concerned when the reviews said it ran small. This brand normal runs a little small. I figured I would be safe with the size I had ordered for the shirt since that fit me very nicely. I ordered a 38 which is about size 6 US. Unfortunately, this dress does run small and there is zero give in the fabric. I wanted to wear this dress to work but I realized I didn't have a full range of motion for my arms. I also thought the hips were a little snug. I ended up sending it back without wearing it.

This is one of those dresses that you never want to put on again once you've struggled your way out of it. It was pretty cute for the one minute I tried it on, though.

I really wanted to like this dress the cut was cute and I loved the color and fabric but the fit is just off. I should have listened to the other reviews. The top is cut too big and the bottom is slim if you have larger hips. I'm an athletic build so this didn't bother me but being relatively flat on top the bigger cut just felt huge and baggy and didn't look good.

It's as if this dress is two sizes smaller on the bottom half than on the top half. I'm reliably a 34 in Carven (0 in most), and usually their dresses are a perfect fit for me. This one was fine--even a little loose--on top. But it was awkwardly tight in the hips and thighs. If you're very straight and narrow, this might work better for you. I'm returning it without even taking the tags off. Nice fabric, lovely details as usual from Carven...

This dress is freaking weird. It simply cannot fit a normal human in the way it is cut.

UGH. Yes, I read the reviews, saw the pics and decided to size up and hope that perhaps it will work for me. IT SO DID NOT. Baggy up top, so tight below I couldn't pull it over my hips. I'm perplexed. It doesn't make sense. I am not clear who this would work for, and why such a cute dress is so tragically wrong.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! The material was somthing you'd want to wear all day, the fit was while almost true to size, didn't fit my breast (they are modestly 36 FULL C) and the hips good luck... Not for the woman with a curvy figure.

I have not had luck with this brand in the past it certainly runs small. I sized up from normal 0/2 to a 6. The dress for like a paper bag. Hips tight to the point of discomfort and extremely baggy in the midsection and chest area. It was also way too short. If I raised my arms up the dress would ride up. This brand is probably best for thin women that are on the taller side. However, even if you had less hips or buttocks the upper portion would more than likely be so baggy it would still be unflattering.

This dress is cute but it runs way too small! Never got a chance to wear it but would love to order again in a bigger size.l
