Wore this multiple times, with jeans, leggings and pants for work. Very cute and had a great sheen to mimick a silky/leatherette. Would recommend!

I see a lot of reviews about how the fit is boxy and the top runs large, but in my opinion, that's what makes this top. The boxy cut and high neck was actually very flattering. The top has a sheen to it, almost like a leather look but is more on the satin side. It is very thick, so warm. Overall, I LOVED this top.

Love the quality and belled shape. Thick, smooth satin – it’s double-layered in a way that almost feels like it’s quilted (but with no seaming). Huge pockets on the front are a cute detail and also very useful. Not fitted, don’t worry too much if you are between sizes. Cut under the arms is great, covers the sides of a bra but not tight or restrictive. One quibble is that it’s racerback enough that it’s nicer to wear a cross-back or racerback bra, but the slit that is down the back is about 6 inches open underneath the button at the top, so I think most cross/racer back bras will show (mine did), although this didn’t bother me too much. The heavier fabric makes it a little warm for hot weather, too. Pockets on front are deep, secure, and very functional - fits a phone without looking bulky.

Cute, everyday top. I am not sure what the material is - I thought it was leather, but upon receiving it, it is definitely some type of synthetic silk. The fit is a little large and boxy, and the fabric puckers a bit, but overall a pretty cute shirt for everyday!

Perfect top by Carven! I recommend sizing down for a backup, the top runs a bit large. This top is very comfortable and is perfect to wear to work. I would pair this top with tights and a pair of heeled boots.

Looks like leather but is very thick satin. Not for the busty ladies. Great shape but tight across the boobs. I wanted to wear but looked ridiculous.

It's immaculate. I rented it for no good reason save its gorgeousness ages ago, and added it again for the same reason. Structured. Heavy. Shiny. It may be too much for work, but I intend to wear it out for a week night date.

I really liked this top and sent it back without realizing how reasonably priced it was (dur!). It almost looks like leather at first glance but is actually a heavy satin of sorts. Elegant drape. Comfortable. Great pockets in front that fit my phone. Will def rent again (and likely buy).

Do you ever have those days when you just feel like wearing black? This is the perfect top for one of those days. It's unique and feels very expensive. I don't think I've worn anything like this before. The flare shape is universally flattering and I received many compliments. If you're looking for something outside of your normal floral dress routine - this is it! Perfect transitional piece for a day at work and then a night out. You won't regret this rental.

I loved wearing this. But may not be great for most. A very shiny fabric that looks like leather and is more of a satin. Wrinkles a bit but I was too scared to steam. I wore this for a function but requires a certain setting (edgy casual?) to pull off. Not really flattering but my students don't care.

Because it is a large silhouette, if you are normally a size 10-12, definitely order at least one size down.

This shirt was great for a night out, although tent like in structure super flattering. By the end of the night it did she a few smudges but would buy it to permanently have in my closet.

I will be wearing this for NYE at the house. The shirt really runs true to size but the cut being tent like makes it huge on the bottom part. I would not have been able to size down or the chest would have been too tight. The tent cut appears bigger with a larger bust (Im between 38C and D). I could see this being more flattering for a smaller bust because it wont stick out as far. The material is a soft satin like but heavy almost like the xray pads they lay on you at the dentist. I like to try new materials and cuts for fun but this just didnt work that great for my body type.
