Felt very expensive
Wore this for a date night! Veryyy thick fabric but the slits up the side made it sexy. Love the color and can be spiced up with a fun necklace/bag. I sized down and it was fine on but getting in and out was a struggle haha

Spring Day Dress
I wore this dress to work, but I would suggest wearing tights because the slit on each leg goes up high. It is heavy material, but has a silky liner so it was comfortable all day long. The top half of the dress is very tight and flattening.

Great Dress - Very Stiff Fabric
I liked how fitted it was but definitely tight in the chest...and I don't have a big one. The fabric is like a jean material so pretty stiff. High side slit (FYI) that's probably pushing it for work but great for the weekend.

Nice LBD Alternative
Rented for work but ended up wearing to a funeral. Lots of compliments on the color. Nice alternative to the typical black dress. Wore with black tights, and would have felt self-conscious without them due to the side slits. Stiff fabric is flattering but gaped a bit in the arm area. Would have liked to try one size down - typically wear a 10. Plenty of pockets, but not sure I have a need for boob pockets. The others came in handy for tissues and my phone.

Meh... heavy material and stiff
This dress is fine. Not great, not horrible. It is made of a very thick material that is a bit stiff and has absolutely no give. It's also shorter than I expected with a high side slit, so I wore tights to make it work appropriate. The arm holes were also a little big, so I threw on a cardigan. I wore this dress to work and I actually got quite a few compliments, but I am not confident that I'd rent it again.

I am torn about this dress
I would give this dress 3 1/2 stars if I could. The color is great, and the stitching and pockets on the front are really cute. The fabric is really stiff - like unwashed Levis in the 1970s - and the neck rubbed when I sat down. For the cut, I have a smaller chest and do better with more shape at the waist; I rated it too large for its boxy shape. The slits on the sides are quite high, and since I live in a warm climate (and wanted to wear it immediately, lol), I wore a black slip as contrast; tights would be necessary for anyone over 5'5" who would be sitting down in the dress. I received a couple of compliments, but I work for a university whose signature color is green, so it went over well at my work event.

Ordered bigger size but runs big
This dress looks fancy because of the fabric but truly does nothing for your shape or figure. It's classy and warm so great for winter weddings. But probably wouldn't have bought it if I'd tried it on first.

Wonderful fabric.
I styled this as a tunic over a black turtle with very thick leggings and thigh-high black suede boots. Very tight across bust.

While this is a shift dress, it has excellent construction and structure to give shape to the waist. It is a mini dress, with a slit on the side, so I wore this as a tunic. Alternatively, I would also wear with very opaque tights. I'll wear it one more time before returning.

Stylist Review
Great dress for a casual occasion! Running true to size, I would recommend sizing up for your backup if you're bigger in the bust area. Due to the material and the lack of stretch, this dress is better suited for cup sizes A-C and this dress can be worn with any standard bra. Even though the fabric has no stretch, there was a comfortable amount of room in the midsection and the hips. The best part of this dress has to be the pockets! At 5'4", this dress hit me at my knees. Pair with black or nude heels to complete the look!

The perfect little (dark green) dress!
Like most french designers, this dress runs small and is definitely not cut for those with a bigger bust... as long as you know that, this little dress up/down canvas dress could be the foundation of 1,000 outfits

Great shift dress for work, but only with tights and flats
Wore on a chilly day with a light blue tissue turtleneck, black tights and flat boots. Terrific! Would recommend, but only with tights. Side slits a little high. Flattering A-line.

Cute - But Beware of the Zipper!
I wear a US size 4 but ordered a European size 38 (which RTR equates to a 6), which fit perfectly. This dress has very thick material with no give and a tiny (faulty) zipper. I actually ordered it twice - the first time, it came and I couldn't get the zipper up (before trying it on) so I sent it back. The second time, the zipper was just insanely difficult to unzip so I had to put the dress on over my head with the zipper up and get my husband to unzip it at the end of the day. Could be uncomfortable if you have a large chest (and you might get stuck). Otherwise, very cute green color and shape. Side slits higher than expected.

One of my favorite dresses, ever
Heavyweight fabric, tight stitching--this is like the armored luxury SUV of dresses. This dress will be best for smaller-chested folks, as it's narrow and the fabric has no give. These features also make it a little difficult to get on and off. But i just loved it... so maybe I just didn't *want* to take it off.

Fit well, but was hard to get on. Slits were fine standing, but sitting down they were too high for work. The material is very heavy. A very cute dress though- I got tons of compliments.

Love the color and weight of fabric
This dress was super flattering. It's a heavy fabric like denim. Color is beautiful! I'm quite short and the slits were still very high. I ended up pairing it with a cute trench coat and it covered the slits and I was still able to wear without tights or leggings.

Adorable but casual
I didn't end up wearing this as i didn't realize how casual it would be. Adorable cut and design, but is almost a heavyweight canvas so not dressy at all. Almost a bit utilitarian. I would rent it again for a more casual need, but sadly was way too casual for the party I'd been hoping to wear it for!

Gorgeous green
The material of this dress is heavy (and I agree tarp like) and although the length is longer the side slits are high. I wear it to work because I have to have a coat on top of it but I imagine it would be tough in a professional setting otherwise

No give. Not for broad shoulders.
I have somewhat broad shoulders and I didn't even try to put this dress on because I don't think I could've gotten it off. The zipper is on the side and doesn't start at the arm but just widens the waist where you don't need the extra room to get it over your head. Horrible design.

Not entirely as expected
I wish I was more diligent about reading the reviews for this one! I rented it for work and the side panels are too high. The dress also runs small (model is definitely wearing a size up)! Also made out of a canvas-like material. I ended up wearing it to work with jet black tights to disguise the panels. Probably won't rent again because insecure again.

Very heavy fabric
I ordered this for work but unfortunately the fabric was far too heavy for 90 degree days. The zipper was really tight and hard to move and wasn't a good fit for my chest (too tight). Cute dress, but size up and not for hot weather.

Beautifully made. Runs small in the shoulders.
I absolutely loved the quality of this dress, unfortunately it was too small for me to even get over my shoulders. The main issue is that the zipper does not go all the way up to the arm whole, meaning it's probably best for people with very narrow shoulders. I'll consider ordering it again, but when I do I'll probably go up two sizes. Also, with my height (5'10") it was a little shorter than I would like for a work dress, especially since there is a little bit of a side slit.

Solid construction but bad for big chests
I loved the color and fabric of this dress - it was heavy and felt well made. However it was comical trying to get my chest to fit into this - the dress fit everywhere fine except my chest (32DD). Sadly a return.

Unique and Well Made
I sized up (RTR suggested 38, but I went with a 40) because there weren't other reviews, but it wasn't necessary. It was a classic shift. It's a little hard to get on the first time, as the fabric is very heavy, but it was unique. Not the most flattering on my curvy shape, but pretty cool.
