Super cute but small in the waist

Runs small so I sized up with the 38 and was comfortable. Well made, details are impeccable. Great rental.

Love the weight of this skirt and pockets are fun! Usually I'm an 8 and rented a 10 and felt it fit fine.

Beautiful shape, forgiving, heavy fabric (heavy enough to wear bike shorts underneath without lines) and slits make moving around possible. Thinking about buying.

Color is great, fabric is thick and pockets are a neat and functional touch. Waist is tight with limited flexibility (I had to put the skirt on over my head because i couldn't pull it up over my bum). Slits on side run up to mid thigh. I loved this skirt, size up but worth the rent.

The fit was perfect and the details were fantastic! Fun pockets and rounded hem slits. The fabric was heavy but not coarse or itchy. So unique! Very flattering.

Comfy, very different. Each of the slit-looking things in the front of the skirt are actually pockets. Very cool.

Fit great, received a TON of compliments and it was super comfy. The only thing was the slits on the side go pretty high up the thigh when you sit down. But that may vary depending on your height. I'm 5'10" so maybe that won't be a problem if you're a bit shorter. Will rent it again though for sure!

I got this skirt when it appeared as a new arrival. I like to read the comments before I order but I so glad that I made the decision to get it. Very thick material. Good for cold weather to wear with tights. The cut of the side splits were very unique and not to high for work but Im 5'9". Only negative was it fits snug around the waist and had to breathe in to zip it but a blazer or sweater can take care of that. Got plenty of compliments during the day

I was worried this would be too tight based on other reviews but I ordered my size and it fit perfectly The side slits were high but was fine with tights for my work.

Great thick tweet. It's lined and the pockets are cute and unique. The waste is SO tight I had to put it on over my head and the zipper was so tight .I couldn't get it all the way up.

Loved the pockets and the fabric. Perfect for work or after.

Exchanging for a larger size, this runs really small, but love love love it. May buy.

Wow, this skirt is true European detailing and is hock fabric that holds it shape. This isn't your everyday skirt. I want it for my closet.

Love this skirt! If you usually wear a 12 and size down to a 10, the 44 should work. If you size up to a 14, the waist might be too tight. I can often wear a 10 to this worked for me. But is still quite fitted and sits very high on the waist. The colors are a red and navy in the pattern. Look great with black cropped sweater to show off the high waist and pocket details. Very stiff fabric though that might not work for some. Quite thick too. Very stylish and I might keep it.

Tight on waist but fit nicely everywhere else

This skirt is beautiful! It is a high waist skirt, a red/navy/cream pattern. The slits on the side are higher than I thought- they come to a bit above my arm's length. I wore tights with the skirt so it was work appropriate. Love the fit and it's a nice thick material.

Very unique slits on the sude make this pencil skirt way easier than usual to move around in. Colors are great. Pockets down the front are funky and you can actually use them. Fit is perfect. Material is weight and nice with tights for the winter.

I liked this skirt so much and received so many compliments that I decided to buy it. The fabric and look are unique. The front hits a couple inches below my knee and the back is slightly longer. I wear it with a black turtleneck and black boots and it makes for a great look.

Rented this for work but did not get to wear the skirt as it runs small, slender through the hips. Adorable design and fabric so I was a little bummed.

I really wanted to give this skirt a full five stars simply on design. The tweed was gorgeous and the cut front pockets and double side slits make this a truly beautiful piece. I usually wear a US6 or, if it's a narrow cut, a US8. Carven usually runs small so I opted for the size 40 (which is a US8). I had to wear it above waist in order for it to fit my hips so if I were to wear again I'd size up to the 42....but then it would likely be rather baggy on the waist. A hard fit for the true hourglass, but likely spot on for a more athletic/narrow build.

I liked this skirt - the fabric is nice and heavy and hides tummies etc. The color was more red and blue than the pink I thought it would be. I wore it with a dark blue long sleeve top and white cashmere sweater and boots. Since I didn't have a lot of other items that went with the skirt I only wore it once but I did like it.

Fits a bit snug and thick fabric without much give. A line shape flattering.

I loved the quality of this piece, but it came with a torn zipper so I couldn't wear it. Also was a bit tight in the tummy when I tried it on. The color is more red in person (looks pink in the photos).

Beautiful heavy fabric. Good for colder weather but very stiff. There was no give which made it a little tight when seated.

The skirt runs small and has zero give. It also is stiff and flares oddly. I wanted to love it, but didn't.

Could not wear it. I normally wear size 6 on skirts and this one would not close even thought I went a size up as recommended.
