It's hard to find a cocktail dress for a work event, but this LBD did the trick. Sophisticated yet stylish. Loved the asymmetrical bottom. Was a good length for someone on the shorter side like me.

Sadly my selected dress wasn't able to make it to me in time. A wonderful stylist emailed me with questions about the event and what I was looking for, then sent selections for me to choose from, super helpful. I loved what she picked! Super flexible but structured to give a great body shape and was able to eat, drink, and dance the night away!

Loved this dress! A great work to happy hour outfit. Got lots of compliments. Overall fit and size were perfect. I'm 5'10" and felt it was almost too short on one side for work. Ended up just wearing flat booties verse my usual heels. was still a little self conscious but turned out to be no big deal! Highly recommend

This dress is so flattering and fun. The asymmetric hemline is right on trend, and the jacquard texture gives it extra polish and sophistication. I'd definitely rent this again.

I got this dress for a rehearsal dinner. As usual, Carven runs VERY small, a combination of their intricate tailoring and the fact that the don't use fabrics with stretch. Do consider sizing up one (or even two) sizes. This dress is made of a crepe material. It is really cool and edgy, a twist on a standard little black dress. I think it is too short to wear to work. I would get it again for a party setting.

I want to own this dress in the worst way. It fit perfectly and was so well designed, I didn't want to take it off. There is texture to the dress and the vertical stripes and asymmetrical cut make it unique and super classy. It is fitted with little give from the bodice to the hips with ample room in the skirt. It gathers a bit at the back when walking (I have hips) but it was easy to adjust. This is a must for anyone who is looking for a new take on a classic. I am smitten with Carven these days!

This is a beautiful dress with nice detail and texture. It fit me perfectly and was very flattering i went from work to out on a friday night and it was appropriate in both locations.

It's great quality, structured which I love, and really beautiful.

Love how this dress accentuates one's figure, especially a curvy one. The thicker material makes it really forgiving with some added stretch; it looks expensive. It's true to size, with a nice, sexy, shorter hem on one side.

Loved the look and feel. It was a true size. Very flattering. Because very form fitting, spanx or similiar undergarmet required to keep the tummy tucked in if you have one.

This dress fit beautifully! It is cut for an hourglass/pear figure. I got so many compliments and honestly do not want to send it back. The fabric has no give so be aware - but the sizing (in my experience with this dress and brand) is true.

I wore this dress for a snowy wedding. It was very classy and the angle of the hem adds a unique touch. Dress was not as tight as I expected it to be but it was the perfect fit.

This dress fit me strangely. It looked great but always felt like it was riding up a little too far!

I wore this dress several times to work and evening events. It's a fantastic transition dress the asymmetrical hemline as a little edge but it is still acceptable in a professional situation

The dress fit well in all of the right places except for the bust area. Now I have a large bust, so I felt a little smooshed, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The cut and fabric make the dress very eye catching, and the length was appropriate for work.

The shorter side of this hemline is too short for a conservative workplace. The fabric had a nice texture to it, but it wasn't super flattering in the stomach. Ended up not wearing

Material bunched at waist

It looks A-line but was too tight across my hips. Should have sized up. Had to return.

It wasn't my favorite rtr dress. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a rectangle shape body.

The part that was meant to be the waistline hit me at my butt. It was way too short.
