Wide arms but my lace bralette worked perfect underneath!

The dress definitely runs big! I am normally a size 6 or 4 and ended up needing a 4, possibly could have worn a size 2. The arm holes are also extra large, but a bandeau style strapless black bra was perfect. Loved this dress because it was super comfortable and unique.

This looks like it's going to be a 100% winner of the year dress, right? But for me it should have had a glaring sign: Wear this if you want everyone to see side boob! The openings on the side went down practically to my bra line - and unfortunately this was in clearance and it was a last deal so I bought it. Ah, we live and learn. I'm going to sew it up and make this happen because it's still a beautiful dress.

The armpits do sit low so prepare to wear a black thank underneath if wearing to work or some place that is more conservative.

I needed to wear a black cami under the dress because I was wearing it to a work party and the armpits were really open/low. If it wasn't for work, I wouldn't have needed it though. Loved this dress!

Material and fit are incredibly forgiving! Would rent every month during the spring summer and fall in Texas...need it in one size smaller. The cut is very roomy, which I do enjoy, but your normal size will be too roomy.

this reminded me a little of a smock and i loved it! i'm typically a 4, but have sometimes needed a 6 for carven, i wore a 4 in this style, but shldve gone down to a 2 because the armholes were massive! perhaps it's just the style, but i wore it anyway with a tank underneath. hit above the knee, loved the ruffles. looked very put together and great for meetings. highly highly recommend!

It was a good lbd. The way the dress buttoned up was with snap buttons on the side. I'm not sure if I had the wrong size on as the snap buttons kept popping off when I tried to dance which was annoying. Overall solid dress.

Fit is a big large- longer than you want for a party, but good length for work. Although the sides /openness of sides would not be appropriate for work.

The armholes are way too big so I had to wear a black tank underneath. I like how the belt snaps are adjustable in the back but several times I bent over and the snaps popped open. So there I was standing among my coworkers snapping the belt shut.

I wore this dress to a work event and it was almost perfect. The length was great - hit a few inches above my knee so it was appropriate while still fashionable. Same with the overall fit - a baggier cut but the behind the back belt gives it a cute shape. The only complaint I had is the sides of the dress cut very low. The entire side of my bra was exposed. Thankfully I had a black bra so it wasn't super noticeable at a quick glance but I made a conscious effort to not raise my arms above my head the whole night.

This runs really big...I could've sized down 2 sizes. It was too big to wear unfortunately (the arm holes were huge and no way to manage that), but it looks absolutely adorable. Will try again in smaller size soon!

Fit nicely enough but not really my style

It looks work appropriate from the pictures. But when i got it it on, it was huge and showed my bra next to my arms. The dress was a nice material, but the ruffles on the sides also made me look wide.

Sweet style that can be dressed up or worn to a casual event. I wore a 38 and it was still rather large. Last week I rented a size 42 from another designer (US size 6) and it fit perfectly! Nice detail with straps that fasten in the back!

Love this dress! Swapping out for a smaller size. The arm holes are very low, tried on with a bandeau strapless to add more coverage. The style, material & ruffles are great! Can't wait to wear when I get the other size!

a little loose and wasn't flattering

The dress fit perfectly, but the arm holes went so low that there was no way to hide your bra. I could have worn a blazer over it, but that defeats the purpose of the fluttery sleeves. Ultimately I didn't wear this.

I loved the dress but it was like a bag on me! I'd probably need to size down a few sizes if I ever tried it again.

I'm admittedly between sizes so sometimes I get something too big. I tried this dress on and the cut on the sides are so deep I could almost see the bottom of my bra. It's also a bit on the bigger side so I'd recommend sizing down. But also, don't wear a normal bra

Nice loose fit, slightly too big however the cut is very open on the sides, which made me very uncomfortable at work.

Rented a 10/42 but it was really loose and even with the belt it was too big. Soft material and cute style but just too big

This was cute to wear to work. However, There are 4 buttons in the back and one of them just kept coming undone. Also, the arm holes are pretty deep, I wore a tank top underneath.

I got this dress to wear to work, and maybe to wear for a party. I am always on the lookout for a good black dress. Unfortunately, I did not wear it. As other reviews said, the dress runs very big. The armholes are very deep, and the style seems like it should be worn over top of a shirt or blouse. The style is juvenile and it looks like a smock or a child's pinafore. The dress includes a half-belt that snaps together on back and the front is longer than the back. The back section exposed a lot of leg and skin, and I would have felt uncomfortable wearing it in a professional setting. The fabric is heavy and the construction is good.

It was super big. It's said it ran big but honestly ran 2 sizes big. Beautiful dress if I could wear it.

Adorable dress but the size 8/40 was way too big for me. I'm a pretty true size 8 so if I rented this again I would definitely go at least one size down. The arm holes are very deep so you need a cami underneath or feel comfortable with your bra showing. If this dress was fitted it would have been perfect!

Ran very large, was gaping under the arms. Couldn't wear it.

The dress looked like it could be a comfortable work dress, but the arm holes were huge! They went lower than my bra line. Definitely a dress I wouldn't wear to work, or anytime really.

So I rented this dress for work - while the length is great the belt is not adjustable very much and it didn't fit my figure well at all. I have a very small waist in relation to my hips. Also because of this the sleeves gapped too much and you could see my bra. I tried my own belt but it threw off the shape of the dress. I would suggest renting a size smaller Than your actual size.

Super ridiculous fit with the arm holes..

You have to wear some sort of camisole to make this work, I couldn't get it to look right. It's actually more of a wrap dress that requires the tight wrapping in order to close the sides of the dress.

I must not have looked at the pictures closely, the front of the dress is like an apron which ties in the back. This makes the sides come under the bra line, making it completely inappropriate for work.
