Photos don't do this justice! It's the richest blue jewel tone I've ever seen. Borders on teal rather than royal blue. Based on reviews I believe I sized up & the fit couldn't have been more perfect from chest through hips. The fabric is thick enough to hide flaws, but thin enough to breathe. Also has some give. Fully lined. Perfect for me being 5'3" as I prefer not to show too much leg since they're not my best feature. Great for work or work-related event.

Skin tight fit but fabric thick enough where that is ok. Makes legs look long and thin. Definitely hard to eat a big meal in this dress

I had been eying this dress for awhile. My fiancé and I knew we wanted to do an engagement shoot with a hint of Harry Potter (side note: I'm a Ravenclaw and he's a Hufflepuff). It became the right time to rent this dress. Pros: The color of blue is visually stunning; it really pops. The shell detail at the bottom and the modest slit give the dress a fun and light element. Being only 5'1" helps with the length not being "too high". While fun, the pattern and the fabric give the dress an element of class. I had another non-RTR dress that I wore, and it just looked cheap in comparison. As for the RTR dress, I got quite a few compliments from people walking by the engagement shoot and after when we went to lunch. Cons: This is definitely a sheath dress and can be unforgiving in the belly area. This was a great dress that has a lot going for it, and I would rent it again.

I'm between a 2 and 4, and got the 4. Even that was a little tight. The color is really brilliant, and the slit is tasteful. I wore this to my work holiday party and it was a hit!

The color is very flattering as well as the fit. It can be a bit risqué depending on how conservative the event you will attend is. I rented it for two networking events and everybody loved it!

This was too fancy for normal business attire, even with a blazer. I highly recommend it for a nice event. The color is vibrant but not annoying and the cut is slimming and sexy but not slutty looking.

I loved the scalloped slit and the length of the dress -- The sheath style fits true to size and ample in the chest - I have gotten this twice since it goes well for a fun event or add a jacket and it is perfect for a work event.

Wore a size 36. Size 38 would have left more room. Beautiful quality dress - fabric and construction. The color is a bright blue. My photo makes the dress look darker than it really is.

The size conversion said I would be a 36, but looking at the model online, it looked like it shouldn't be terribly fitted, and because of my athletic short stature, I need a defined waste in dresses so I ended up wearing the 34 and felt great. Still wasn't too tight or skimpy feeling, hugged all the right places and made me feel amazing. Could be worn year round to many events, as well as repeat wears to many occasions ;)

I wore this to a work conference with a white blazer. Fit well. Zipper a bit sticky like most RTR dresses are.

Fit like a dream. Beautiful color. Tons of compliments. However, the scallops kept hiding & gave the look of a typical asymmetrical dress with extra weight. I had rented for an event, but opted out for that reason. No amount of ironing or steaming could remedy.

Versatile dress, the slit definitely adds a edge. It might not be best for a ultra conservative work place. It does run small. I'm normally in a 2 or 4 and this 38 was perfect. That is a 6 in US size. Very well made.

This dress is gorgeous. The color is a bit darker in person than displayed on the website, but still pretty. I got lots of compliments on the asymmetrical scalloped hemline, and I loved the structured feel and the heavier fabric of the dress. Definitely a great choice for a wedding or special event. My only complaint is how small the dress runs - I read reviews on this dress running small, so I ordered up for both my normal size and my backup size, and good thing I did! I normally wear a size 6 or 8 (depending on the cut), but I wore the backup size 10, and I still was a bit uncomfortable with how tight it was in the midsection. But overall loved this dress and would definitely rent it again.

The dress itself is beautiful - my camera work does not do it justice. I did order size up due to the comments, but I think I actually should have gone with my actual size. My advice would be that if you are between sizes normally, go to the larger size. Otherwise I think it fits true to size unless you are large chested or have wide hips. Since I am more athletic build, it fit a little baggy on me in the stomach area, hips, and arms. It did have a nice length on me though in this size and it was fun to wear. I would possibly rent this again, but probably in the 38.

got for work. slit in front is a little high and the dress fits snug. I balanced it with a loose fitting blazer. in hindsight I would have ordered one size up.

The color is much more blue- the picture doesn't do it justice. The fit was perfect. I loved the scalloped bottom. It went high enough for it to be flirty but not too high.

I had a mid-day not too formal family religious event to attend in a wealthy area of Chicago - not the easiest thing to dress for! This dress his just the right note - polished, simple, fairly covered up but still fun, eye catching, and not at all frumpy. The color is bright and beautiful, and the fabric thick so there is no lines of lumps (fabric also has NO stretch - be forewarned!). The slit could ride up a bit when sitting, but was not at all risqué (I'm 5'6" ish). I normally wear a size 2 and found the 34 for be quite form-fitting, plus the top half of the dress is cut small. I have a large chest and was MASHED into the bust; I wore no bra and nothing moved up top even over the 6 hours I was in this dress ... but this was my choice since the rest of the dress fit so well everywhere else. There was a bit of uni-boob action going on from the side. Overall two thumbs up - just be careful if you have broad shoulders and/or a large bust. BTW - that is the Badgley Mischka Moody Blooms Cross Body handbag I'm hold. Goes great!

The material on this dress is great, albeit a bit heavy. Probably better for winter rather than summer or spring. Very soft though. Loved the scallop look. The arms were too loose with my bust and the dress hug my middle in an unflattering way. Not so great for curvy girls.

The dress fit a tad snug so I suggest sizing up but if you're petite like me, you will find that it's not too flattering for a short torso or petite frame off the rack. I styled a jacket over it to hide the snugness around my midsection ;)

This dress runs VERY small in the hips. I was not able to pull it down, as you can see from the picture. It would have fit nicely everywhere else I imagine. The scallops also are only on the front portion of he dress and don't go around back.

The dress fit was tight! I was able to zip it, and thankfully the fabric is thicker than it looks so it was very forgiving and I was able to wear it, but I think I would definitely like to try a larger size if I were to rent again. The color is brighter than shown in the photo, its very pretty and the detail on the slit is gorgeous. Would definitely rent again.

Loved everything about his dress. Was maybe a bit too snug in the bust... if you're bigger in that area, size up, but be prepared to make concessions in other areas. Scalloped edge is beautiful. Material is excellent quality.

Wore this dress to a wedding and it was great. Very figure forming with a great scallop hem, overall a very flattering dress. The fabric is thick so I wouldn't recommend wearing it in high temperatures.

this dress is GORGEOUS. the color is to die for, the seaming along the bodice is insanely flattering, and the hem is so unique and fun. the only problem I had with it is that the lining was a little loose so you could sometimes see it peeking out from the hemline of the dress, which ruined the effect of the scallop hem, but it was an easy enough fix with a safety pin. wore it with a fitted collarless white blazer and pointy toe black heels for work, but I think it would look even better sleeveless with a fun statement necklace. get this dress!!

Great fit! Looks exactly like the picture (fitted). The slit is appropriate for a work party.

First off, this color is amazing. Such a deep, wonderful hue of blue - I would imagine would be flattering on every skin tone. Second, the cut of this dress is just fabulous. I felt completely comfortable in this, it didn't bunch/gather/dig in at any spot. The scalloped hem adds an interesting dimension to an otherwise standard shift dress. I didn't think the top of the slit hit too high, definitely am able to wear to work.
