The dress was great for a semi-formal party. I got compliments all night! The color is a startling royal blue, but the picture doesn't do it justice. The color is gorgeous, and the fit is very true to its size.

When selecting this dress, i got both sizes 4 and 6. They both fit me very well but the four was a bit snug. I am a size five around the waist, so i was in the middle of the two. The dress is very pretty, it helped me stand out on stage for Homecoming court.

This is the 2nd dress I've rented and it was almost as perfect as the first. It is really cute and the color is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it for a semi-formal event. I usually wear a 0/2 and I went with the bigger size because the 0 was really short, but both sizes fit.

I rented this for my sorority's winter semi-formal and it was a HUGE success! Everyone loved it, and I got the earrings to match that were suggested by RTR. I usually wear a 4, but sometimes I have to go up for the bust. I ended up wearing the 6 because the 4 fit but looked a little too tight in the chest; the 6 fit but was a little big in the rest of the body. It was perfect for the event, and looked great with a simple hair style and plain black shoes!

This dress was perfect to hug my body. It was a little difficult to get my hips into the dress (both stepping into the dress or putting it on over my head) but once i got my hips there it fit perfect. The slip on the dress ran a little long so i had to keep tucking it under, but overall I loved it and would recommend it!

The dress fit me perfectly and runs true to size. My date and I coordinated for a wedding we attended in August. Together, we received many compliments for our look. I liked how the dress hugged my body comfortably especially around my chest. This was definitely worth renting for a night. It was indeed a night I will never forget :)

Both dresses could have worked but the 0 was more fitted and I felt would stay on better. The blue color was really pretty in person. The silk looked a little worn (in particular around the hem) but not too bad at all. The dress was quite comfortable and I got lots of compliments. I plan to rent a different dress for the next formal. The best part is that I can have a new dress for each formal guilt free!

The dress looked great, but the top layer tends to ride up while dancing (it was a little tight) and I was in danger of a wardrobe malfunction later on in the night. I would suggest wearing the smallest size possible to avoid the same issue - girls with hourglass figures might be at a greater risk

I wore this dress to my homecoming dance and had already anticipated that it might not fit my larger bust. The 8 was probably too small in the bust, but it zipped. I could have worn a size down everywhere else. It looked great in pictures--very classy and a beautiful color! I also think it was very flattering to my body shape and made my waist look really skinny. However, while dancing the top did not stay up very well and the material of the dress seemed to shed leaving me with a blue furry residue all over my chest! That is the only reason that I did not give this dress five stars. This was my first experience with RTR, and I would not hesitate to order again.

I ultimately wore the size 4 since the size 2 did not fit my bust. The color was lovely - a deeply saturated sapphire. The fabric was more textured than I expected, but nice. Length was great for me, though I'm short. I would've rated in higher but I found the fabric in the midsection ungainly and a bit unflattering.

I fell in love with this dress on the website and I rented it for my Christmas party but had to wear my backup dress because this was just way too short. I rented the 0 and the 2 - the 0 fit me but was too short and the 2 was the right length but too loose. If it had been longer I definitely would have worn it!

My daughter rented this for homecoming - she's 5'11", 36D and the 10 fit good. She loved the fit and felt beautiful from the moment she tried it on. We will be getting this one again!

I got this dress for homecoming and there wasnt any other dress like it. I usally wear a size 2 but i needed to size up because I have a larger chest (32D). Anyway, it was an amazing dress and I felt amazing dancing in it all night.

I didnt end up wearing this dress because it was too small in the chest and I was spilling over the top. It fit perfectly in the waist and the length was not too short or too long. It fell a few inches above my knee. Would have loved to wear it!

I wore this dress to an evening wedding and overall was happy with the look. I was shocked by how small the 0 was (I am pretty tiny and it would not even go on!) so I ended up with the 2 which fit fine. The color was beautiful and paired very nicely with crystal jewelry that reflected the blue. The length was also perfect for me - short enough to show off my legs without being inappropriate or too short to sit down. I wish the dress had a little more structure to it - I had to wear a very padded bra to give it more shape, because despite the boning it's pretty thin and shapeless. Fine if you are comfortable with your body, but probably would not recommend for someone who's trying to hide things.

This was a pretty dress - I'm much smaller on the top than in the hips, so I probably could have found a more flattering dress for my shape. The top was a little loose - even though I am a full C cup, but the bottom was definitely snug. I would not recommend sizing down if you have a butt and hips!

This dress was great for Barrister's Ball (law school prom) and I got a ton of compliments! However, I should have heeded reviews and ordered another size up. I am generally a zero but it was SUPER tight in the hips even in the two. I couldn't even get the 0 over my hips! The reviews aren't messing around; definitely order a couple of sizes up. Still a really fun dress though!

I rented this for a fall semi-formal party at my school. I usually wear a 0 or a 2, so I rented those. However, neither fit over my hips (and I don't have that large of hips to begin with). The customer service was wonderful - I had called them in a panic since my event was the next night, and they sent over the next two sizes up (the 4 and the 6), arriving that afternoon. This also turned out to be a disaster - the 4 was still tight in the hips, although it fit well in the chest. The 6 fit over my hips but sagged in my chest area. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the fabric gathering in the front/off to the side didn't sit right. Overall, this was just not for my body type - would recommend for more slim-hipped or straight-figured people. Too bad - this was a beautiful dress (but with NO stretch - beware!), in an absolutely gorgeous color. I ended up wearing something I already owned and returning for merch credit. Props to the customer service team, though!

I got this dress because I really liked the bright blue color. The bottom did bunch a little where there is this knot/flap thing that goes across the front but didn't bother me too much. I liked this dress but wouldn't recommend it, there are better dresses out there.

I rented this dress for a bachelorette party. It was very sexy, and while was short, was not too short as I am only 5'1". However, this dress is not super functional- while at dinner and walking around I felt great, but to dance I had to keep pulling the top up and pulling the bottom down as it was riding up, which was uncomfortable. I can usually wear a 4 in designer clothes and a 2 in bigger retail brands, so this felt somewhat true to size, but there was very little room to breathe. Lastly, the dress felt a little immature for a bachelorette party, might've been better for a high school or sorority function and a younger crowd.

The dress did not fit properly. I am almost always a size 0, and I could barely get the size 2 around my hips- and I do not have big hips. Also the fit around the waist (once I was able to get the dress on) made me look like I have large, jetting out love handles (which I do not).

I get a 4 in every dress I order from RTR. Sometimes I can even work a 2 depending on how much I work out before the event. This dress hardly zipped and didnt fit over my athletic butt. I wouldn't say I"m curvy, but if you have any hips or butt, this dress won't work. Not ony does the fabric have NO stretch, it has a funny little cinch in the front that didn't sit right when I tried it on. Luckily this was my "get an extra dress for $25" dress so I wasn't too upset bc the other one I got was amazing. I just had to plan a little differently for the rehearsal dinner...

Item did not fit. Could not return within 24 hours because of snow storm. Returned one day early and still got charged.

I ordered this dress as my back-up dress and it was way too small. I am 5'2", 118lbs, and normally wear a 0-2 dress size. The dress was so short that if it did fit, I would have been afraid to sit down!
