This dress fit like a glove. Very true to size and forgiving. I am size 34DD and was worried that top would be an issue but i didn't even need to wear a bra with this. Would def wear again

I did not wear a bra and everything stayed in place. Tight on top, loose in the hip and butt area.

This dress is such a rich blue and it's fancy, but still comfortable! It fit well but there was a lot of extra room in the hips, so it stuck out a lot on each side. Due to this, I'd recommend sizing down.

Beautiful classic navy dress that is shaped mermaid style and hugs your curves. It is a tad bit busty, which I didn't mind. Would have wore a larger size.

I was apprehensive about the strap length on this dress when I read the initial reviews. I have a longer torso and a smaller chest and it fit perfectly! I loved how classic and pretty this dress was for a fall wedding with my boyfriends family.

Fit incredibly well and such a fun dress to wear! I'm 5' so the length was more midi for me, but I found that very flattering as well as where the waist hit. Generally a size 2/0 and this fit very well.

Recommend and would rent again! I’m usually between an 8/10, and the 8 fit perfectly in the body. Straps were a bit long. I could’ve pulled dress down to its actual length but I felt like that was too revealing in the chest and would get annoying throughout the night. So instead, pulled straps back like a razor back, and secured with a decorative pin and that worked perfectly. Great material and appropriate for wedding guest occasion.

I loved the dress-- the other reviews are accurate-- the straps are WAY too long, but I knew that and had pins to pin them back and that worked fine. The dress did run small -- I am 125-130 and 5'3" and I really needed the 6 (or maybe even 8). I wore the 4 and it was REALLY tight the whole night, but I made it through and loved it! Highly recommend renting!

I am 5'4 with my weight carrying in my belly and saddlebags. This dress is very true to size and hugged in all of the right places! It would bunch slightly at the horizontal seam between the top half of the dress and the bottom half, so if you are taller it probably would be *chefs kiss*. Loved this dress really want to purchase to have in case I ever need a semi-formal dress

Perfect dress for a wedding, I got multiple compliments on it! My only complaint is that the straps are VERY long - I'm 5'9 with a long torso and still had to safety pin them for the dress to fit correctly.

This dress was perfect for a black tie-optional event. I tried on the 6, which was too tight, and wore the 8, which fit somewhat well but the straps were too long -- they slid down throughout the night. Otherwise, a fun dress that's moderately low-cut. Fitted waist is flattering for athletic builds.

The overall fit is pretty true to size. I was comfortable the whole night - it was snug to my body, but not squeezing me (I also wore spanx). I was disappointed that the straps were NOT adjustable, so I had a hard time with the top and kept messing with it - I wore BOOMBA inserts (sticky boobs) and that helped, but not much. Overall satisfied with the dress, if I owned I would probably need to get the top altered.

I wore this in my normal size for a wedding and received many compliments. It fit really well besides the straps! I had to figure out a way to tie them in the back because they were way too long and didn't stay on my shoulders or keep the dress up otherwise. But once I figured that out, the dress fit great and was very flattering.

Really pretty dress but it was too tight on my hips/waist which caused it to pull awkwardly. The straps were also a bit long for me as well. I ended up not wearing it.

I LOVED this dress. It's a great classic dress that you can accessorize to dress up or down. I got complements on this all night. I know many people mentioned the straps being too long but I didn't have that issue (I'm 5'10"). I wore this for a work party and would definitely rent again for a similar event.

Didn't end up wearing this, it was lovely but didn't set quite right on me. It was really tight in the torso so it started to bunch up when I moved around. The straps were way too long but they could've easily been tied back!

I’m typically a size 6 and this dress fit me perfectly. I have a larger chest so the top portion fit just right, but I imagine anyone smaller would have a tough time with the long straps. Otherwise, loved this dress!

This dress was true to size and I enjoyed wearing it. I received a number of compliments. I used an adhesive bra since the material is not terribly thick. As others have stated, the dress doesn't stretch. I appreciated the shape and length. Note that the top is a little big on me; the 4 fit better but because it didn't stretch, I couldn't zip it and had to wear the 6.

Dress fit well and was perfect for a winter wedding! I am normally a size 2 at Ann Taylor/Loft and wore a size 4 in this dress. Important note - the small sizes run small (2-6) and larger sizes run large

Classy and sexy. Material is really nice and it hugs the curves perfect while still being flattering. It's a little large, so size down. I normally wear a 6, the 4 fit perfect. The straps are much longer than they need to be. I wouldn't have been able to tell unless I looked really closely, but I saw someone before me had pinned the straps up. So if you know your way around needle/thread or safety pins, it looks like an easy fix.

Worn to a fall wedding. Sizing was a bit snug in the hip area but that's where I tend to carry my weight. The fabric was beautiful and thick with a slight sheen elevating the glamour of the dress. Even with the 4 fitting snug, I was able to dance and move comfortably. I'd advice sizing up for your backup size

I highly recommend this dress it was gorgeous. As per the other reviews the straps were a little loose but it didn't stop me from wearing it. I got so many compliments and really didn't want to return it. GREAT rent in my opinion

Overall I'd say this dress runs large, mainly in the hip area. I'm almost never a true size 2 but based on other's reviews I sized down and I'm glad I did! I could have used slightly more room up top in the bust area (I'm a 32DD) but since it was snug in that region it held everything in place without needing a bra. Endless compliments and it really flatters the waist! May be purchasing this one!

Ignore the lighting because it was terrible and does no justice for this beautiful dress, the straps were a tad be large, but with a pin it fit absolutely perfect!

Loved, loved, loved this dress- incredibly comfortable and flattering. I carry most of my weight in my stomach, and this is the first formfitting dress I've found that skims that area instead of being tight around it. I was right in the middle of the two sizes but ended up going with the 4 as it was more supportive on top. Material has some stretch but feels super high quality. Wish this was still on sale in stores!

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner. I'm usually between an 8 and a 10. I ended up wearing the 8. The 10 was a little big. The dress fit very well just the straps were a little big. I had to re-adjust quite a bit throughout the night which was a little annoying. I could have pinned them and I'm sure it would've been fine but I didn't have any safety pins. I received a bunch of compliments on this dress. It really is a beautiful, classy dress.

I have had 4 babies in the past 7 years. This dress was just what I needed to boost my confidence. It is so beautiful on. Simple but sexy and classy. I received compliments from every person I talked to. My boobs are smaller than they used to be after breastfeeding so I didn't fill it out like I used to be able to do. That didn't even matter, no bra needed!! I'll recommend this dress always! I'm actually going to buy it, I loved it that much. I'm 5'6" 1/2 and I weigh 149 mostly carrying the weight in my stomach and hips.

This dress fit perfectly and I felt like a princess! I ordered it as my backup, but my first choice didn't fit - and I'm SO glad this one worked out. This was a last ditch rental for a formal wedding when my other 2 dresses didn't work out. It runs true to size. The only size available was 1 size up and it was large. I had to pin the straps and it was roomy through the hips. It still looked great but I imagine even better in the right size! The dress is cut beautifully and is very figure flattering. It doesn't look like much in the picture or on the rack, but trust me, once on it looks spectacular!
