I find Christian Siriano to be a designer whose aesthetic I enjoy.I wore this to an English Tea and felt ladylike and proper with flair.It does have a high slit in front.Only shows when walking.A tad tight in the bodice.

Wore this to perform at a gala and it was chic and elegant- the skirt shape and front slit give it a unique shape and make it more than just a lbd. It was a bit tight in the shoulders but totally workable, i also have pretty muscular shoulders. So comfy yet flattering!

This dress is FABULOUS, but is tight in the chest. I'm a size 6/8, depending on brand - 5'4" and 135 lbs. chest is 34 D. This fit, but was tight in the rib cage. Wore this dress to the Nutcracker - it was perfect! I felt so beautiful and received many compliments. I highly recommend, but beware if you're heavy chested

Rented this dress for a wedding and it exceeded my expectations! Shoulder and straps are elegant yet still chic and modern. Shape is very flattering and hugs all the right places. I sized up a lot to maximize comfort.

I loved this dress. Classic with a bit of an eighties vibe. The slit in front is short but I’m only 5’3” so it wasn’t obscene. You would have to be careful sitting down. Rented it for my Boston Marathon Fundraiser - 90s Prom. Could have easily been worn to a non theme event and I will 100% rent it again. Runs small so size up.

The perfect dress for a Casablanca themed NYE event! I got so many compliments from friends and strangers on the way the dress nipped I'm at the waist and accentuated my curves. The only caution would be the slit-it is VERY high, so I likely wouldn't recommend it for a work event.

This style by Christian Siriano runs true to size so we would recommend getting your usual size as your primary and going one size up for the backup size. This dress has comfortable room throughout the midsection and comfortable room in the hip area. It is great for any cup size and can be worn with a strapless bra. In regards to length, it hits me at mid calf. I would pair this with black heels and a little black handbag.

Got nothing but compliments. However, the slit is higher than expected. So 9f tou plan on dancing or moving this is not the dress for you.

It fit well. I forget exactly what sizes I wore because I did lose weight.

I really liked the look of this dress. It did need supportive stockings to keep my curves smooth. There is one problem though, it was great for the standing up cocktail part of the party, but the slit in the front runs up quite high so I needed to have a napkin ready to cover my upper thighs every time I sat down.

slit goes right up the middle. one wrong move and you are showing your lady parts to the world.

I thought this would look classic, but it ended up just being rockabilly. I didn't wear it. The front slit is super high. I know others wrote that too, I didn't believe it, but it is. It is about 1.5 inches lower than my you know what. Also, the top on this dress runs super small. The whole dress runs small, but the top is ridiculously tiny. I'm a 32DDD for reference. The zipper was split, so I think others had a problem w the chest. Oh also, the shoulder piece on the right curled up.

Perfect length, just enough sexiness but not over the top. Flattered in all the right places and covered up the yummy well. Felt confident in it. Did need a strapless bra and I couldn't do the zipper by myself...actually had to ask a friend to zip it all the way up!!

This dress is gorgeous. I received tons of compliments about how elegant it is and the shape of the skirt and placement of the slit (center) gives it a unique and modern look. I'm between a 4 and a 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. The fabric and fit are sturdy and structured enough that I was able to wear a strapless bra without having to adjust at all through the night. It's neither too revealing nor too modest. It's sexy and sleek without showing too much skin. Highly recommend this dress. I was sad to return it!

Works for an hourglass figure. Deep slit in the center but the material is heavy and it stays closed. (Mostly the slit allows you to walk.) The fit is immaculate. Stunning dress- OMG- the nicest thing I've worn in a very long time.

Pretty dress that fit well but I ended up not wearing it. I should have read the reviews stating that there was a deep slit up the front! I didn't feel comfortable wearing it to my work party.

My 34E did not allow the back to zip up - size up for chest if needed.

The top fits wonderfully and you could even wear a bra with slim straps easily. However, what you cannot see in the model photos is that the front of the dress has a VERY high slit right up the front. center I am not sure how I could have worn this dress.
