It also had a lovely sheen that made it look even better. The bodice hugged my shape and accentuated curves. The skirt flared and looked good when twirling. I paired the dress with the Swirl Triple Row Necklace by Kate Spade (can be found on site), chevron-esk black tights, black Guess booties, and a silver Jennifer Lopez (I think) clutch/purse. I would really recommend wearing a necklace other wise the front looks too plain. Loved the retro chic feel and would definitely rent again.

Great fit, although, I had enough room that the 6 might have fit better, but all in all, wonderful!!!! Seriously, the hotel we were at had a cheerleading convention of some sort, plus Katy Perry was playing. This dress was just cute enough to make my 35 year old self feel confident, without feeling like I was trying too hard. The draping on the skirt is beautiful. Only negative is the weight of the fabric, but I got over it.

The dress was fantastic. The 8, which I normally wear, was a tight across the bust. But the 10 was perfect. The size 10, however, had some abrasions on the neckline which was off putting, but I had no other options to wear. Luckily, I also rented a necklace that covered the flaws. Absolutely perfect dress for black tie optional, would definitely do it again.

This dress is a classic, minimal LBD with just enough flair to give (quick) movements (and windy nights) that ladylike mystery. I ordered 10 and 8. The 10 is my true size and it fit perfectly! I added an elastic bow belt to it and accessorized with lots of bangles. I love the dress.

I wore this dress for an MS charity benefit and I received SO many compliments. The cut of this dress is extremely flattering and it's the perfect LBD! I normally wear an 8 or 6 in dresses since I have a fairly small bust. This dress is snug in the bust, and while the 6 fit better overall in the hips and waist, it was too snug in the bust so I wore the 8 and belted the waist to get a nicer silhouette. One warning: the flair of this skirt is fun, but any little breeze will pick it right up so be prepared to hold the skirt down while you're outside :)

I rented this dress for my birthday dinner. I wore it with the green necklace that it is shown with. The 6 was a bit tight in the bust but the 8 was too big overall so I ended up wearing the 6. It is such a great canvas to add whatever accessories you want. Since it was NYE, I wore a sparkly jacket over. I loved it!

I chose this dress because I wanted to look polished and chic for this red carpet event. I have a small waist and have wider hips and rear so the flaired bottom and fitted waist was a great look. It top of the dress was a little snug for my fuller bust but overall the dress fit well. I loved this dress!!! I wore it an outdoor wedding at a vineyard. I received a lot compliments on it. At first I was worried about the back being too low cut and having to buy another bra for it, but when I tried it on it wasn't low at all. I was able to wear a push up bra instead. I also thought it would be a little but shorter but that was okay. What I also loved was that even though it is modest, the cut of the dress accentuates your figure. I like the vintage look. Its an elegant dress and absolutely worth it.

I rented this dress for a 60's inspired engagment photo shoot, and the dress was perfect. It fit so well and was made of high quality material. It has a little sheen/shimmer in it which made it even more elegant. If you follow the size chart it fits exactly as it says. The classic, vintage feel to it really made it special!

I am so sad to return this dress! I was in absolute heaven in it. The material feels elegant and the dress is so comfortable. You won't be disappointed. The fit - it was a tad too big in the stomach area but tight in the cleavage area (not the dresses fault. I wear a 34d)

The skirt on this dress drapes beautifully, and though it is full, is still figure flattering. The simple neckline and subtle V in the back are just the perfect touches on this classic LBD, which manages to evoke the effortless elegance of Audrey Hepburn while looking polished and modern. I am not sure whether I am drawn more to the fabulous cut of this dress, or the gorgeous fabric - which has just a hint of sheen and looks as expensive as it feels. Fit runs pretty true to size, perhaps even slightly on the large side. Would have given the rental a 5-star rating, but the dress clearly has signs of wear at the zipper and the hem (which kept dropping and I found myself adjusting it constantly). But the design of the dress is beautiful and overall, I was very happy with this rental!

I ordered the dress for a wedding and enjoyed wearing it, but I wasn't in love with it. Nothing wrong with the dress - it just didn't "wow" me. I paired it with a blue belt to add some interest. I liked the scooped back detail. But because of the scooped back, it was a slightly loose in the top. I perhaps could have gone a size down, but a six was not in stock when I ordered it.

The fit was true to size. You want the top to be as snug as comfortably possible! I stayed away from the statement necklace because I felt the neckline was too high! I think statement earrings are a better decision!

This dress is so gorgeous! For my prom, I wanted to go with a Audrey Hepburn inspired look. So, I was scrolling though RTR looking for 'the one' and when this dress came into view I literally gasped. It was perfect! When it arrived I was thrilled. This dress looks so luxurious. However, I would have to say it runs a little big. I usually wear a 0 or a 2 but, disappointingly, this dresses smallest size is a 2. I ordered the 2 and 4 and wore the 2 even though it had about a inch of extra fabric around the waist band. Also, It is worth mentioning that this dress is especially suited for tall girls because it has a longer length. Often when ordering a short dress, it turns out to be scandalous but this dress pleasantly hit mid-thigh. Score! At prom, I received SO many compliments. People were coming up to me all night telling me I was the best dressed. I'd never felt better! Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this dress to anyone. The only bad things about the dress is it runs slightly big and it is going to be a challenge to top next year! Hopefully, with some wore help from RTR, I will be able to!

I loved the material and the circle cut of the skirt. It's longer in the back and has a great flare. Spinning around on the dance floor was super fun, but the cut felt prim enough for the ceremony portion of the wedding. Nice "V" at the back of the dress, too. As for the cut of the front/top... well, I honestly felt like I was wearing a bib apron. The armholes were too big in front, the waist was loose, and there's just too much material in general (and I have a pretty big chest for my size). If I owned the dress I could have take it to a tailor and probably made it work, but not with a rented dress. I'd say go 2 sizes down.

The dress (Es) were gorgeous! ... Just not on me! Though the quality of the material and the overall make of the dress were outstanding, unfortunately I didn't feel it looked fabulous enough on me to wear to an occasion where I felt I needed to look absolutely perfect; and nothing less would do. On the right person it would definitely be a winner. I have big arms and the dress really showed that.

Great fabric. I just had a baby 5 months ago and it covered my tummy well without being too obvious. Looks great with chunky accessories! I'm normally a 10, but it wasn't available last minute- I was able to squeeze into the 8, it was just a little tighter than I would've liked.

the boatneck collar gives it an edge but still very classy. Fits true to size. I was impressed at the high quality fabric. The fabric is thicker so it may be too warm for an outside summer event.

This dress was so fun and flattering. A little large in the waist though. Wish I would have ordered a 2 and 4. Not a 4 and 6. I wore it with a topshop edgy statement necklace.

Honestly, this dress was so perfect, and exactly what I wanted. I knew that I had to get this dress because the shape of it goes perfectly with the shape of my body. I usually wear a size 6, but it was big in the chest area, and the size 4 fit absolutely perfectly. However, there was a substantial length difference between the 4 and the 6. The 6 was just above the knee, and the 4 was at least 2-3 inches above my knee. What also is not necessarily shown in the pictures of the model is that its a little shorter in the front, and is gradually longer on the sides and in the back - but I think it makes the dress look even better. Also, there were some ironing issues on the hem of the dress, and so I had to re-iron it, but it wasn't a huge deal. If you are looking for a 50s-retro styled black dress, this is the dress for you!

This dress is extremely lovely. Conservative and classy, yet sexy and chic. My husband said it looked like the dress was tailor made for me. I received an endless string of compliments all night. The material is very high quality and it just looks expensive (as it is). Definitely would wear this again.
