This dress was perfect for a unique twist on the little black dress. It does run a little large as I wore a size down from what I normally wear. (I am usually a 6 or 8 but wore a 4). I received tons of compliments and would definitely wear this again if I owned it. The ruffles were flirty, but not too cutesy or overdone.

Great LBD. True size. The 2 fit well but ended up wearing the 4 because it gave a little more room to dance in.

Absolutely stunning! So, so many compliments! Easy elegance and very flattering to chest and waist. I wore the size 2 with a size 4 backup...I suggest going larger for backup size.

This wasn't the original dress I had picked out, but when the dress I ordered didn't fit, they overnighted this to my hotel (great customer service!). I wore a standard black strapless bra (not sure I wouldve been comfortable without one) and wasn't worried at all about comfort or showing too much. It looked classy and I received a ton of compliments. Very true to size. My neck is pretty small, but I can imagine it being tight had it been any bigger. It was a good length too - I thought it looked longer on the model than it did in real life.

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner. After reading other comments about issues with side boob I was a little worried about the coverage on the sides but decided to roll the dice since the rental cost me hardly anything with my $25 first time renter code. It was a last minute decision to rent it after selecting out a dress to rent for the wedding. I was also skeptical about the sizing, normally in most dresses I am anywhere from a 2-8 (usually a 6) depending on cut, designer etc. It fit great! Side boob wasn't a problem, I didn't use double tape and was able to go braless. There were also a lot of comments about the neck piece being tight, but I didn't find it overly tight or uncomfortable by any means. I will definitely be renting again for any future formal events. Both dresses were a huge success!

I loved this dress. It's unlike anything I own but I felt really comfortable in it. A few reviews complained about not being able to wear a bra. I actually didn't have that problem - I wore a basic black strapless and it was completely covered by the dress. I was also surprised if fit so well because I'm petite so I often have issues w/ formal dresses, and the smallest this comes in is a 2. But it fit me perfectly and hit just a tiny bit lower on my knees than it does on the model. I'm told in general Christian Siriano's are good for petites. I think the dress is gorgeous and I loved it! Tried to give photo options up close and sitting as well (sorry for the awkward shot) because I always appreciate seeing how it appears in real life shots rather than just the model pose. Hope that helps! I totally recommend this dress!

Loved this dress! First RTR rental. Will do again! You cannot wear a strapless bra. Luckily I was prepared. I also used a small bit of fashion tape on the sides under the arms for a bit more security, though it wasn't mandatory. Just nice to have. Got lots of compliments!

Got this dress for my husband's 25th high school reunion. Was looking for something dressy but not too formal. This was perfect. Fit great and I got a ton of compliments on it. I liked the way it hung on me--not too tight or loose anywhere and still complimented my body type. It was actually very comfortable. And I had no issue with side boob as some others had mentioned (although I see the potential for it if the fit isn't just right).

This dress fits true to size and is comfortable. I had to get a special bra since the back comes down low and a traditional strapless bra shows. I was very happy with my first RTR experience!

This is the first dress I have ordered and I loved it! I ordered a size 4 and a size 6 as my backup and wore the size 4. It fit perfectly, the neck was a little snug but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I wore this to an Air Force Dining out and everyone kept giving me complements the whole night!

I thought this dress fit just beautifully. Many of the reviews say that it runs small in the neck and waist, however I didn't have that problem. I wore it to a red carpet event and got plenty of compliments!!!

As a small chested woman, I typically have trouble with halter dresses that fit in the hips and leave too much room in the top. This dress was no exception, and I wound up having to pin up some of the extra fabric at the neckline. (Fashion tape was not strong enough to close the gap under the arm.) With that minor alteration, the dress was a huge success ! It was perfect for dancing at my cousin's wedding, and the next day my husband asked me to wear it again for a special date night. An unexpected and pleasant two-for!

The ruffled skirt was perfect to hide the extra tummy pouch and travel bloating. The size 2 worked for me but the hip area was snug. I didn't have any problem with the sides but can see where a larger busted woman would. I felt great and got lots of compliments on the dress. It was perfect got a spring night in Florida.

Loved the dress! The only downside is the side boob issue. If I wore no bra, there was some major nipple action going on, so I bought breast petals. But second guessed that option...to afraid you would be able to see my boob at certain angles...so i went with a strapless bra. It showed a bit, as you will see in the pictures but thought that was a better choice...:)

The lining of the dress was a bit long, hanging out past the ruffles so I taped it up and then it looked better. Otherwise the dress fit great and was comfortable. I chose it because it was simple and conservative, yet elegant.

Fits true to size, I ordered a 2 and a 4, I could have gone with a 2 and a 0. The 2 fit pretty well and I received a lot of compliments.

It was a little tight at the end of the night but we did have a 14 course dinner.

Very beautiful and elegant dress - was probably a little over dressed for my dinner. This dress wold be perfect for a black tie event. My husband loved it. Did not find any trouble witt the sides of the dress and the neck is snug. If I owned the dress I would shorten it a bit - would not recommend for anyone much shorter than me (5'3"_

Wore the 4 but had the 6 as a back up based on other reviews that it ran a bit small. I am usually between a 4 and a 6 and I was solidly the 4. Tried on the 6 anyway and could have worn it with no problem but would have needed the fashion tape that RTR kindly included because the sides would have gapped. Great dress.

Wore this dress to a fall wedding. It fit beautifully and had a very classy feel to it. I have a smaller frame, so I am not sure how it would look on a larger frame.

I was nervous when I saw the reviews that said it wasn't true to size but for me it fit perfect! In dresses i am 99% of the time in a 4 and the 4 was the dress that fit. I would agree that the neck was a little snug but besides that it was perfect. Compliments galore! Oh, and its the perfect dancing dress too. Also my body type is not "strait and narrow" but its also not technically "apple" somewhere in between. The dress is fine for those who hold a little in the tummy. It ruffles out at the perfect spots.

I'm pretty small (5'0", 100 lbs) and the dress was simply too big. I don't recommend the dress for anyone shorter than about 5'4". However, a friend wore it and looked fantastic!!

I'm not proportional between my upper and lower body. So for the dress to fit my butt and thighs, I really could have used some fashion tape to tack the top in place.

I ended up pinning this dress to make it a tad tighter. Make sure you have the perfect bra to give you some boost and won't show straps. Loved the high neck look, just wish it fit a bit more snuggly.

This dress is stunning, but I had a hard time with "side boob." Have plenty of fashion tape on hand. You'll need it to tape the side of the dress to your skin on the side. It was a problem for me because I was not prepared. Otherwise, great dress. Flattering, comfortable, different than anything else out there.

i was super excited to get this dress and wear it to a wedding. i orderd a 6 and an 8 and the 6 fit my bust perfectly but was too tight around the waist and the 8 was way too big in the bust and fit my waist well. i ended up wearing the back up dress i rented, but i really wish i had been able to make this one work, it truly is a beautiful dress.

The wedding invite said 'festive attire' and this dress fit the bill. The dress was very comfortable and was a big hit. Just the right length for sitting and fun for dancing.

This dress was cute, I wore it and I thought it was very slimming and nice for my body type which is tall and thin with hips.

I had rented this for a NYE party, but when I got the dress and tried it on, it DEFINITELY ran too small. I even tried it on with my Spanx, but we couldn't get it zipped. Talk about depressing. I had rented a dress in a size 12a month earlier so I really expected the 12 to fit. WAY too tight in the waist for my body shape, and the top section actually seemed big. This dress is definitely meant for smaller breasted women...with small waists too! If you're curvy, this one isn't for you. If it had come in a 14, it may have worked.

For me, the 2 fit in the body but not in the neck and the 4 fit in the neck but not in the body. Otherwise, it's a classy dress and looks pretty on if you don't mind how tight the neck is.
