Loved this fit, but it definitely felt big and kaftan-like on me without a belt. Loved the belt pairing, it made for an effortlessly chic look.

Got lots of compliments on this funky dress. Someone called me Li Saumet from "Bomba Estereo" in it and I was sold. It's definitely oversized, but looks really cute with a belt on it. Can be dressed up or down. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner at a destination wedding, and it was just right.

Wore this for a music festival in LA. So many compliments. I’ve rented it before and dressed it up with a vintage gold snake belt and heels- highly diverse. Will rent again.

This runs big, vibrant colors. Can dress up with heels or dress it down with sneaks. I would wear it belted as it's pretty shapeless with no belt. Not too much fabric. Must be ironed.

Last minute add and didn’t expect much but the print was beautiful, the fabric lightweight, and lots of compliments. 29wks pregnant, 34D, 175-180lb here and plenty of room in size small

Wasn't entirely sure about this one, but I'm glad everyone else confirmed. Wore to work with belt and had tons of compliments and then with sandals and no belt for other events and had the same reaction. Yes, I bought it!

Absolutely loved this dress. The bold prints, the pockets! It definitely needs a belt. Material is cotton and a though there is a lot of it, it packed easily for my trip (strictly carry on only over here!).

Compliment magnet. XS wasn’t available but small was good fit too. Wore to work then dinner. Will rent again before summer’s end for sure. Would transition nicely into Fall.

Oversized on purpose, I’ve worn belted and non, looks great either way. Easiest nightgown feel with bold fashion style and makes you instantly look pulled together for a working breakfast after a few too many cocktails at a business trip dinner ;)

I recently rented the Valerie pleated kaftan by Carolina K in a medium, and I must say, the reviews were right - this dress is HUGE! I was concerned about downsizing and having a tight chest, but that wasn't the case at all. I could have easily gone for a small. However, when I belted it, the extra fabric didn't bother me, and it actually looked great. The bright and fun pattern, along with the puffed sleeves and multicolored buttons, added some interesting details to the dress and made it so much fun to wear. I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it twice with different belts and shoes to dress it up and down. I found it so fun and versatile for work or date night! I did size down to XS which would not normally fit me so I could see how this would be way too huge for someone petite! I’m 5’7” and the length was perfect.

LOVED this piece. So easy to wear. Beautiful detailing with the pleats over the shoulder. Quality construction and the collar holds a pop. Pockets! Just needs a little steam, no need to fuss with the iron. Kaftans can overwhelm a petite hourglass, but this piece snaps together with a belt. Any belt and all the belts-- absolutely needs a belt. So many beautiful colors through this fabric, it was a blast to accessorize! Paired with flippies, strappy heels, loafers, and studded clogs. Worn on date night, beach cover up, mini golfing. This piece made me smile.

I loved everything about this. I could only get the large, but the medium would fit better. I had complete strangers compliment me. Contemplating buying.

This is a gorgeous dress and I love the designer but it was basically a huge shapeless sack on me as a petite. Length was fine but too much dress for me. I belted it to give it shape. Has lots of potential for the right person.

Really thought i could pull it off in the oversized caftan kind of way but just ended up feeling kinda circus tent-y. Also tried it with a belt and it wasn’t bad, but took away from the overall design.

Shapeless. Probably would look better on someone tall. I was swimming in this dress. Liked the pockets and different colored buttons.

The print on this dress is really fun, and the big flowing nature is really comfortable. The elastic on the arms was a little tight so it kept riding up above my bicep, but I could deal with that. I did add a belt so it wasn't SO overwhelming.
