The dress is so flattering! It made my waist look so tiny! It was a little short when I had my wedges on but when I was wearing flats it was perfectly fine.

A gorgeous dress - a last minute change after the first one I selected turned out to be unavailable. So many compliments! And I wish all dresses came with pockets!

I wore this dress to my dad's birthday dinner at the Magic Castle, where cocktail attire is required. It was perfect - the black-and-white felt formal, but the shape and beading made it stand out from all the little black dresses. The 0 fit perfectly; I didn't even have to wear a bra, but I'm a small B-cup, so it might be tight if you're busty. It's made of a sort of stiff, grosgrain-like material so it really keeps its shape, but it's not scratchy. And, bonus, it has pockets!

I ordered both the size 2 and the 4. They both fit very well actually, but I ended up wearing the two because I liked how it was slightly shorter than the four. The size two was definitely tighter on my bust (a 32H) and the size four was a tiny bit loose (I still could have worn the four but the two was just a bit more snug). Overall, the dress fit very well and I would say it is true to size. I loved it so much! I used Hollywood hem tape to secure the sides of the dress under my arms and attached it to my bra. This was very helpful and if you have a bigger bust I would definitely consider it.

Loved this dress! The dress was super comfortable beading detail was very flattering to my figure & pockets were a added bonus! Perfect for any event. The 4 fit but was a tight squeeze in the bust area, 6 was a much better fit!

This dress fits true to size and is great for an hourglass figure! It accentuates all the "assets" and is super comfortable to wear. The beading detail was amazing and the pockets were fantastic! I was able to put my phone and lipstick in the pocket without it even being noticeable. I loved wearing it - totally gave off a flirty but formal vibe. I got alot of compliments and wish I would have kept it!

The dress fit well, but would have been far too snug in the chest for anyone with a larger bra size (I'm 34B). It works well for someone like me who is small on top and larger on the bottom. The dark pattern on the sides is beading, I was delighted to learn. As usual w RTR I got tons of compliments.

The dress came in a late due to UPS confusion, but it was just perfect. I was really scared about the dress not fitting, but it fit just right and like a glove, it was all perfect. Everywhere i went i got compliments on it all night saying how they all loved it. If it wasn't so expensive I would buy this to keep. I would totally rent this again for another special occassion.

Pretty true to size, I usually wear 10-12 pants. The color, details, and shape was a standout at my gm company holiday party.

This dress is a beautiful thick fabric. Pockets are brilliant and the black beading detail really nips your waist in. It's a lovely dress great A Line shape and a modest V neck. The bright crisp white stands out in sea of black dresses. It's a form fitting bodice . You will look sharp and fun in this dress. I wore a tear drop style silver necklace and a wide bangle bracelet. Also styled with black booties and a bright blue purse. Hope this helps you.

Perfect fit. Loved the classy low cut. Didn't show cleavage but still showed the neck line elegantly. Felt like it was an easy dress to bend down in. The dress material was high quality in how it was sown. It showed that it was thick but didn't feel too hot or too cold. Everyone complimented me on my dress. My favorite thing was the pockets.

This dress is comfortable (can wear a regular bra) and really stood out in a sea of black dresses for our work holiday party. The dress fits pretty true to size for me. I sometimes have trouble finding dresses that are small enough in the waist but still fit my bust (32D bust, 27.5 inch waist). The material is a dressy silk and the beading on the sides is flattering. The flare at the bottom is festive but not overly poufy. It was short enough to be a little sexy (without being inappropriate) even on my 5'4" frame. Overall, I love this dress and wished that I could keep it! Thanks, RTR!

The dress was beautiful I wore it for prom and I looked like no one else there. Got lots of compliments. Can't give it 5 because it smashed my chest. I am average chest size and it still didn't fit well. As others have said customer service was outstanding. Several alternate dresses were sent for me to try but I stuffed myself in this one because it was just what I wanted to look like. I would rent again from RTR.

I rented this for Carmen at the Metropolitan Opera and wanted to try the 6 and 8 but the 8 was out so I got the 4 and 6. I usually wear a 6 or an 8, I ended up wearing the 6 but I think I would've been more comfortable in the 8 as it was a little tight in the bust and waist when I sat down. I didn't take a picture without my coat on...oops! The pockets were great, the beading and fabric were gorgeous, and the overall fit was extremely flattering. Overall a good rental.

This dress runs small. I'm a size 8 and the size 10 in this dress was snug in the waist but I wore it anyway because my backup dress was too big. I got lots of compliments on the color.

This dress was great for a work holiday party. The beading made it very festive and the cut was great- not too low cut but still flattering. It's a fairly heavy dress, the fabric is thick and the beads are heavy but I liked that structure for a holiday outfit. Highly recommend.

It was a city hall wedding, and of course I hit up RTR for the perfect white dress. It was super flattering and made my day even more memorable. My favorite part is the coral detail. You can't tell in the picture, but it's actually navy and black sequins, not just black. Made me love the dress even more. The bad news is I had to return the dress, but the good news is I get to keep the guy!

It pretty much runs true to size. I usually wear a size 2 and the size 2 I rented fit perfectly. If you are taller than 5'3 then this dress will be on the shorter side, and the dress has no stretch whatsoever. The beading at the waist, the style and fabric make this dress elegant, gun and very comfortable to wear. Overall, very satisfied.

The beading on this dress is so beautiful in person. I also loved the silhouette of this dress. Fun, flirty, and it has pockets! It did arrive with some deep wrinkles that I couldn't get out with a steamer, but I was able to iron them out by ironing them through a towel.

I wore this for my rehearsal dinner and got SO many compliments!! The fit was amazing - particularly since I am large busted (30G) and there was PLENTY of room up top - so smaller chested girls should size down... and no bra needed! I probably could have worn a 0 but then it would be a bit squished in the chest area. The dress itself is exquisite and so flattering!

My daughter wore this to her high school homecoming dance. We got a size 2 and a 0, she ended up wearing the 0. She looked stunning. She said it felt amazing to wear- it better for a designer gown! And she had a similar look to Viola Davis who won an Academy Award the next night!!!

Overall the dress was very flattering, and the beaded detail around the waist is absolutely beautiful. I also loved the fabric which helped make the dress special.

Super flattering and received compliments all night. I could wear a regular bra (bonus) and it had pockets (double bonus). I normally wear a 4, but wore a 6 in this dress. After about the 4th hr of having this on, it did become uncomfortable around my rib cage. However, would definitely rent again.

Beautiful cut and details. The fit was so perfect and the black and blue sequence at the waist made the look pop and accented her tiny waist. The fabric needed to be pressed and wrinkled easily but it was no big deal.

The dress was amazing! It was very comfortable, and the pockets were a nice added touch. The only thing was the hem was not completely straight; however, I don't think that was too noticeable. I was nervous to mess it up by ironing it, so I didn't even try. This is the reason I only gave 4 stars. This was actually my second pick. My original chosen dress was too small, and the backup size was not able to be shipped to me because it was damaged. I'm so glad I had this dress as a backup because my original turned out to be too tight. I can't wait to rent another dress from RTR!

This was my first RTR experience and it was so easy! I received tons of compliments on the dress and it was very flattering in photos. The only problem is that the evening wasn't long enough to enjoy it more! I will definitely rent again for the next big occasion. The dress ran small, especially in the top. I do NOT have a large chest (36B) and usually have the opposite problem, so this was surprising. I actually went braless, which was rather awkward. However, the fabric and lining are thick enough to cover everything, if you had to go that route. I tried the Mystery Bling option, but did not care for the necklace too much. Better off to pick out your own jewelry, but I think the dress has enough detail that just earrings and no necklace were perfect for my needs.

This dress is beautiful and very well made, but leaves NO ROOM for a bra. I'm fairly small chested, and I definitely had trouble. If you have a large chest, I would recommend ordering a size up to accommodate. Other than that, the dress was gorgeous, I got countless compliments throughout the night! It was perfect for my figure and made my curves stand out in the best way possible. I couldn't have been happier!

This dress is beautiful, it is everything I could've asked for except it didn't fit. My problems stem from the fact that I ordered a four and a six but I'm really an eight therefore was doomed to some of the issues from the beginning. However I do believe if it only slightly tighter than it was designed to which implies that you're really not supposed to have any bust all. I am a 34C and ended up looking like a 36 AAbecause it was so confining that it's squish my breasts and pulled me so I looked larger. The actual design is beautiful! It's so much better than I expected it to be and honestly looks much better in person. However, it also looks much shorter in person. I managed to avoid bending down for most of my event and also wore shorts underneath and yet my derieras still visible when I sat I believe.

This dress was so unique, there was no other like it. The fabric is heavy, the beading is beautiful. It does run very narrow in the waist, and a bit small on top, but there is plenty of room for hips and it is very flattering.

I rented this for holiday parties. It is a well made and beautiful dress but as the other reveiws say it runs small. I am a solid 6 and could not wear the 6. Unfortunately, the size 8 I ordered could not be shipped. True to Rentttherunway AWESOME customer service.... they sent another dress (which I could not wear) - credited my account and yesterday I got Godiva Chocolates in the mail to say how sorry they were for my inconvenience. Love this company. About to rent again for spring galas....and a wedding. I would rent this dress again if I could get it in the right size. It was gorgeous, loved the pockets and the beading detail was done very well.

I wore this dress to my prom and got many compliments on it. The dress is very slimming. The material is a little weird and stiff, but other than that it was fantastic. The pockets were a plus too.

If you are busty (I am a 36D) this dress runs a little small in the chest. I concur with the other reviews that you need to order 2 sizes (your typical size and one size up). I am generally a size 10 but wore the 12. I loved the look and feel of the dress. It's a classic dress that you can dress up or down with accessories. I wore it to a creative black tie gala in D.C.

Beautiful dress, I was surprised how well the beading looked. I found it to be a little low cut compared to how the model looks but it was still very appropriate for an office party. I got a ton of compliments!
