This dress has a sophisticated and slightly sexy look with a lace chest that extends into the arms and capped off with bell mid length sleeves. The black and dark blue color are definitely best for fall and winter. The dress is flattering for curves and allows room for a large bust (36 DD). Although the lace is sheer I wore a regular black bra, and the straps weren't noticeable. This is not a stand out dress, but I felt confident, well dressed, and comfortable. The quality was exceptional as always with RTR.

Note that this dress is black with dark blue stripes. I wore this dress with opaque tights because upon sitting the dress rode waaaay up. Arm movement is super restrictive so you'll probably need a hand to zip up the back of the dress.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress. It is super comfortable ,simple and elegant. However if you are on the "thick" side, you might be a little uncomfortable when it comes to sitting down, or dancing. I kept pulling my dress down. Other than that, no problem . I also really liked the way it hugged my body.

this was a backup/substitute back up dress that I selected at the flatiron store after not loving the dress I originally rented for my friend's wedding. The detailing is absolutely beautiful on the dress and fits wells on an apple shaped, full bust figure. I also really like the sleeves since I didn't want anything sleeveless. Two things I noticed: it was very short on me. (I'm 5'5") Dancing in this was a bit awkward bc I was worried about flashing everyone on the dance floor. Sleeves were also kind of tight, but you really couldn't tell once you were zipped up. I would likely rent this dress again, but this time wear tights and pair with darker colored heels.

I really liked this dress. However, I think the lace caused some issues - the sleeves were tight and made it hard to lift my arms. The lace didn't have much give to it so I think overall it made it feel tighter than if it were a different material. It also made it hot, not very breathable. Definitely not for a Summer affair. But the colors and style were very pretty and it felt very elegant! I would still recommend, just maybe get a size up to accommodate the tightness from the lace. I normally wear a 4 but the 6 felt much easier to move in without being huge on me. It comes with a black slip underneath.

Cynthia Rowley, wavy stripe bell sleeve dress is clic black navy lace. It's very comfortable. It is running true to size and non fussy. It's easy to put on with a back zipper, above the knee length with a crew neck and has a flowing bell lace sleeves. This dress could be worn to a wedding or out to party and or even out to dinner with friends. I really didn't think I would like it but, I love it! I know I would get a lot of complements on my attire for the evening. The bell sleeves did not interfere with me using my walker. I would recommend this dress for a young lady who is petite. The overall shape looks nice whether you're sitting or standing.

Fit was a very subtle a line - I felt cut and lining was very flattering. And at 5'1 it was actually short. Which was great!

This dress was great for a work holiday party. Pros: sleeves in the cold, lace that was sexy but conservative for work, not tight through the arms or chest which is usually a problem for me Cons: super short and i'm only 5'3" if you wear tights with this make sure they arent "control top" on your thighs or it will show when you sit

It was really cute. Will need tights if you are wearing to work as it is on the shorter side. I'd size up if you are curvy, it doesnt have much give to it. Loved the sleeves, its a winner!

I am a 4/6 and rented a 6 based on reviews that it was snug. The sleeves were very tight and waist and hips were huge.
