The fit of this dress was flawless! I am 5'6/ 130lbs and the size 2 fit perfectly. I have wider hips so the pockets made me nervous at first but they were so well hidden you couldn't even tell--they were big enough to keep my phone, lip gloss, and gum hidden.

This dress was perfect for my boyfriend's sister's small wedding in Sonoma! I was not part of the wedding but also didn't want to wear something that clashed with the wedding party so the color was perfect! It had pockets which I thought was great to hold lip gloss/phone/etc. The cutouts were low enough that I could wear a normal bra, in which I also criss crossed in the back because of the narrow straps. The wedding was in October and a little chilly so I also paired the dress with black tights and black heels. This dress was perfect!

I rented this for my husband's Christmas party. It fit so perfectly! I received many compliments and I didn't want to return it! LOVE This dress!

I'm obsessed with this designer. I've worn her a few times because I love the cut outs in the dresses that provide flirty but not too in your face appeal... and her dresses have pockets. Along with being able to wear a regular bra, you really can't ask for more! The purple is so vibrant and deep, but it didn't photograph well in dark lighting. The skirt has weight to it which helps keep any wind issues at bay. I wore the size 2. My measurements are 32/24/34, and the 2 fit like a glove without any skin spilling out the sides when I sat down. I just can't recommend those designer enough!!!

I was worried from the reviews that this dress would be too tight on my broad ribcage/shoulders - but the 6 fit perfectly. I think it would be more flattering on people with a more defined waist. I didn't wear a bra with it and it felt great. A regular bra made it too tight and the straps stuck out. The color is gorgeous and the weighted, wavy hemline really does twirl.

The silhouette was just right for my body type! I have a full bust so I felt supported in the dress while I showed off my legs. Be sure that your bra fits under the dress so it doesn't peek out of the cutouts. The skater style skirt/bottom of the dress adds feminine flair to the dress. Don't swing too hard in this dress or you'll show your business, lol! I tried on the emerald green as well and both colors were lovely.

It was fitted in the waist but it was a fun dress for dancing in! The length was perfect, not too long but not too short. I loved the bateau neckline because I was able to wear a statement necklace with the outfit. The cutouts on the side gave it a modern feel. I also got lots of compliments on the color of the dress!

Got this for my daughter for homecoming. We had two sizes, 0 and 2, shipped to our local boutique and the stylist was very helpful. Dress was snug through the chest, but fit perfectly everywhere else. She did try on the 2, which was still a little snug in the chest, but too loose on the hips. Returning the dress was easy and we will be back to shop for prom and a summer wedding that we both will be attending.

This Cynthia Rowley Amethyst dress in size 6 features cut-outs at the waist and has a flared skirt and is sleeveless with a crew neckline and has side pockets with a hidden back zipper with an hook-eye closure. I love this dress it is super cute for a party!! This dress would great on any body type(s) such as straight and narrow, pear, and petite.

This dress fits pretty true to size. I got a ton of compliments! The 10 fit, but the 12 was more comfortable in the ribcage area. I have a larger chest, but did not need to wear a bra because of the thickness of the fabric. The skirt is really fun and flirty. I would definitely rent this dress again. I wish it came in more colors!

I am normally a size 8, which fit me okay, but I wore the 10 to ensure no skin squeezed out the cut outs. I wore this to a friend's birthday party and would 100% rent it again.

This dress definitely looked better on than it did when I took it out of the garment bag. Lol. I didn't think I was going to be a fan, since the model on the RTR webpage shows the skirt part looking very flowy and puffy. It had a slight puff, but it didn't look big which I liked! I got a ton of complements on this dress. I was glad I was able to wear a regular bra with it too! The dress had pockets which was cool to put my phone in when I wasn't taking a picture. It's a comfortable dress! The cutouts felt fun and sexy without being revealing.

I don't usually pick purple, but the silhouette of this dress was cute and flirty. Exactly what I wanted for my birthday party. The dress was mid thigh length and I am 5'7" with long legs. I also wore 4.5 inch heels. The length was perfect. Any shorter and i wouldn't have been comfortable. I received many compliments on the dress. The cut-outs are closer to the rib cage - not love handle territory so I believe this dress would flatter many women. Perfect choice.

The dress fit great (no bra)! I'd never worn anything with cut-outs before and was nervous that skin would hang out, but that didn't happen at all. The cut-outs are strategically placed to make you look great! Since the skirt part isn't form fitting, it's wonderful for dancing. The dress seemed brand new and the color was gorgeous! Rented this for my daughter for her choir banquet. She was delighted with the color and fit of the dress and received compliments all night. She could wear normal undergarments with it, so no problems with that. If you are larger-busted, I would order one size up from normal. RTR has never disappointed me and I'll be a repeat customer for myself and my daughters!

I loved the fit of this dress! I was worried my skin would poke out too much through the cut-outs but that was not the case for me at all. The color in person is a gorgeous purple jewel tone that is brighter than how it looked in pictures. I was really happy that I had a colored dress in a sea of formal black dresses. The skirt had a very good weight to it and flared out a lot when I spun while dancing, which is fun. If you are very tall and are planning to spin/dance a lot I would recommend wearing spandex shorts or something underneath. Overall a beautiful dress that I would definitely consider wearing again!

I would have never picked this out for me, but the stylist at the RTR store in Vegas suggested it for me and I wound up totally loving it. The color is fantastic. The bottom with the curvy hem has lots of movement. I was really nervous about the cut outs (I thought my love handles would pudge out the holes) but they were high enough that no stomach pudge showed. I was still able to wear a regular bra with this - major bonus! This was a great dress for me!

The silhouette is flattering, so I didn't have to be conscious of my posture all night. The fabric has a nice weight; no "Marilyn Monroe" moments. Loved the pockets! And the cutouts definitely help take this up a notch. Dress arrived in perfect condition. Would rent again!

Originally tried this in the Vegas store -- would not have picked it myself but it is super flattering and fun! The skirt would look great on just about any body type. It's very forgiving after a big meal and has pockets! The top is fitted and despite my fears about a solid-colored dress being "boring," the slits add plenty of interest to the dress and the gorgeous purple color stood out in a sea of black dresses at the "black tie optional" wedding I attended. Note: The 2 fit me, but the slits on the side were more flattering in a 4. Would recommend sizing up for the backup since those side slits can squeeze tightly!

This dress was perfection! I got so many compliments. It looked great with my blonde hair and green eyes. I was really worried the cutouts would be similar to a can of biscuits popping open but that wasn't the case at all! So flattering and flirty. The pockets are adorable. This dress fit like a glove and the color was amazing. The fabric was sturdy enough to hold you in but flexible enough to keep you comfortable all night. Being 5'9", it was right on the verge of being a little short but it worked. This dress would be perfect fun, formal event.

I loved the color and fit of this dress and got so many compliments! The fabric made it dressy and was heavy enough to wear to a winter wedding despite the cut-outs. I am big on statement necklaces so the high neck was perfect for me to accessorize as well. The top was a little snug (I am typically comfortable in a 6) but the 8 was a little more roomy for a night of eating and drinking so I went with that.

Absolutely loved this dress. The material is thick and luxurious. The skirt is really structured, which gives the dress a nice shape. And the pockets are a huge plus! I didn't wear a bra with it, but you'd definitely need something strapless. My favorite rental so far!
