The fit was great, I ordered a 6 and ended up wearing the 8 so I would say size up when ordering because I am usually a 6! The material is nice, it is thicker than expected so it keeps you warmer outside but not too warm for when you get indoors. One of my favorite dresses that I have worn!

Cute little LBD which is a true mini-skirt length. Rides up when you sit but worth it. Also, you won't be able to move your arms above your shoulders once it's on, so do your hair and makeup first. This ran slightly small because the fabric has no give. At 32-25-35 a size 2 fit great with just a little "give" to let the fabric hang in flattering lines. I would wear it again.

This dress does not have much stretch to it, but luckily it fit like a glove and I got compliments all night. I would definitely rent it again.

LBD with a great detail. Wore it with pink pumps and it looked great. I'm a small 0 and it fit like a glove. Price was right so I bought it. It's not stretchy so had no give - if you are in between sizes probably better to size up.

Loved this dress! Definitely size up though! I normally wear a 2 but wore the 4. The size 2 was too tight and too short! I felt beautiful! The dress wasn't terribly constricting, I wore the dress for many hours and was perfectly fine!

Seriously considering buying this dress. I've rented it twice and I absolutely love it. Always get some many compliments when I wear it. It's very comfortable and perfect if you like to be a little covered up.

Definitely size up! So glad that I got a size 4 as a back up size (I'm normally a 2). There is very little stretch or give in the fabric. I received tons of compliments and it's super flattering! I would rent this again.

Definitely fit a little tight but was incredibly flattering. I was feeling myself in this and would rent it again in a heartbeat! If you’re taller be warned that it is definitely on the short side. (I’m only 4’11!)

Loved this dress! Wore it to winter sorority formal and it was the perfect balance of tasteful and flirty! Both sizes fit but I went with the 10 over the 8 because it was more comfortable to sit down and dance in! Overall would highly recommend!

Loved this dress for a bachelorette party. I normally wear an 8/10 and I got a 10 in this and it fit like a glove. I couldn't raise my arms and it was very short but it looked great. Kind of hard to dance in. But very flattering and tons of compliments.

This dress is ADORABLE! It is very short, but I'm tall (5'9") so I expected that and with the conservative top and long sleeves, showing a lot of leg balanced out the look. I definitely had to size up, my usual size was VERY short and tight. The dress was perfect for an award ceremony, but I think it would be hard to dance in: if I bent over or lifted my arms I would definitely show everyone my goodies. Perfect for sitting and standing! I wish I owned this dress, it's gorgeous and well made and the sleeves kept me warm on a spring day!

I received so many compliments wearing this dress to my bestfriend's rehearsal dinner!! One thing i will say is that the dress is just overall tight -not much stretch. If youre going to be dancing the night away -this one probably isnt for you. Definitely not an issue though, this is such a fun take on a LBD! I wish i owned it; i know id get a ton of use out of it!

I rented the stress for my daughters school gala. The theme was Texas cocktail. There wasn't much difference between the two and the four as far as fit except in the shoulder area. The dress is beautiful and high-quality. I loved it!

This is my first review for RTR (3rd rental) and I LOVED this dress! I agree with others that I really wish I owned this dress! The photo really doesn't do it justice, but I felt great in it, very flattering, and I loved the fit and details. I ordered size 4 and 2, and ended up in the 2; even though it was a little more snug for sure, I felt that overall it was a better fit for the occasion (dinner and theater date night). I agree with other reviewers that it is VERY short when sitting, but that was no problem for this date night. I didn't notice any restriction in arm movement, but I was just sitting around all night so that might be why. I didn't need a bra with it, and the fabric seemed warm enough for late October. I'm sure I would have been warm if it hadn't been freezing in the theater! I loved this dress and I'm already excited to rent it again!!

This dress was a bit short but I feel like the more conservative top evened that out and made it sexy but classy. The material made some arm movements a little restricted but that didn't bother me the whole night. That was why I chose to go up a size too because I thought t may be a tiny bit longer and have a bit more freedom with my arm movement. It was a flattering dress for post-baby body.

I wore this to my graduation from grad school. It photographed beautifully and was quite flattering. I transitioned well to our celebration dinner too. Only con is it can be a little uncomfortable in the sleeves.

The sherry/crochet arm add cute flare to the dress. It's a very flattering fit, perfect length (not too short!)and very comfortable. I usually wear a size 8 and fit into an 8 for this dress easy.

This dress was perfect for a black tie optional wedding in Minnesota where "black tie optional" is a little less formal than in other cities. I ordered a 2 and a 4 as my backup size due to the "runs small" reviews. I could have gone with either but ended up wearing the 4 as the 2 had two small rips in the skirt seams and the 4 left a little more room for comfort. I didn't have an issue with the arms being tight or the length being too short and felt comfortable dancing all night. I seriously loved this dress and already am thinking I'll order it again for an upcoming wedding in November.

Length is about where the end of your hand drops down to your thighs.

I thought it fit true to size, but it is definitely form fitting. It is structured, so I felt like everything stayed in place and it was so comfortable. I got so many compliments on it too :).

This dress was my second choice because the one I wanted originally was not available, but I absolutely loved it! I got a ton of compliments. I agree with other people, it was not easy to lift my arms. I wore it to a wedding in January and I was very comfortable but I would think it would be uncomfortable for warmer weather events. This dress was classy with the long sleeves, but still sassy with the short hemline and cutouts. I'm usually a 4, and it fit fine. But I would size up for backup for sure. Didn't need a bra. Great party dress!

It was classy and cute. It does run a little small/short, so def get 2 sizes. I went to a wedding where it wasn't too formal but wasn't casual, so this dress fit right in. The only downfall is that it was hard for me to do any lifting (not that I needed to, but more so when I was trying to tie my hair up at one point) because it runs kind of tight by the arms. It is also a bit on the shorter side. Overall, loved it...and is really fit for any occasion.

I wore it out for a friend's 30th birthday in Charleston and it was the perfect mixture of class, elegance and a little bit of edge. The material is high quality and the dress fit like a glove. Definitely not too long for a petite frame like mine (I always struggle with this) I wore a black lower cut bra and you couldn't tell at all! Great rental, highly recommend!

This dress is really adorable. The fabric doesn't have much give, and I really couldn't tell much difference between the size 2 and 4. The length is a bit short, but overall it's a really cute black dress. I wore the 2, which is my typical dress size, I'm 5'5" and 120 pounds. It was perfect for a wedding, and especially great for cooler weather with the longer sleeves. I would rent again!!
