I rented the dress for a work event but it was way too short for that. So I wore it for a special dinner instead. Loved the fit, fabric and style! Would have bought it if it weren't for an unstitching in the fabric...

I wore this for a pageant interview... The dress fit great and looked amazing on me! I felt very confident in it. I will note, as others have, that the zipper is stubborn at the waist. Also, I don't know if this is an issue with other dresses, but one of the pocket slits, when opened at the right angle, showed my leg. But otherwise, the dress was amazing and I would wear it again!

I wore this to a party with sheer black tights and low booties and it was very cute. The skirt looks much shorter than it is because of the pouffiness. I'm very petite with no curves, but not sure how this would work with a more feminine bodytype

I got this dress sent to me by the stylist, because the alternate size in my original dress wasn't available. I ended up liking it so much more than my original! Make no mistake, this dress is super short and runs really small. I normally wear between an 8-10 in most formal wear and this was so tight up top. And I'm fairly small chested! Regardless, I loved the weight of the fabric and it showed a lot of leg which I like. I wore it with short pointed toe booties and it was the perfect combo. There is a lot of "flounce" to the skirt, but it has pockets! Which was awesome.

The material of this dress is very heavy and beautiful quality. It is a very fitted at the waist and has a very playful short baby-doll skirt--would not recommend for work. Perfect to wear during the day with sandals and then to pair with heels at night!

I rented this dress really last minute for Thanksgiving! I LOVED it! I have rented several Cynthia Rowley dresses before and this was one of my favorites. Her clothes definitely run small.

Fit is very flattering. It's a great style for petite women who want to accentuate their waist and it's not too long. The A-line skirt is more festive and makes it feel dressier. I wore it to my friend's wedding and I received tons of compliments! It was very comfortable as well. The material is thicker so it's perfect for Fall and Winter. I don't think it would work as well in the summer. I would definitely rent this again!

Sophisticated and classy! The flower pattern and pleats offers a fun and young look. In addition, there are side pockets! Running true to size, I suggest sizing up for your backup. You can wear any standard bra with this dress and it is great for any cup size. It is fitted around the natural waist. However, the fuller skirt provides comfortable room for the hips. It seems to be knee length on my petite frame. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress was perfect for my best friend's rehearsal dinner. I originally ordered a 4, but ended up wearing the back up dress, a size 6. It definitely runs small, and I'm glad I had the back up. The dress is very comfortable and can be dressed up or dressed down. I paired the dress with nude heels, a simple bracelet and simple earrings. I received so many compliments. I definitely recommend this dress!

I loved wearing this dress. I took a risk because there weren't any reviews yet but I was drawn to the style and colors and couldn't help myself. I also took a risk with the hemline as I pretty much subscribe to the "no hemlines above the knee over 40" rule. I was concerned it would be inappropriate for a family wedding. However, it looked so good I forgot all about the hemline. I received many compliments and would definitely rent this one again. I am 5'4" and 122 lbs. the 4 fit like a glove and stretched out just the right amount over the evening that it wasn't tight in the waist. It also hid my little belly!

I wore this to a Madmen themed party and was perfect! I loved the big flare of the skirt. The material was great. The dress was pretty tight in the rib-cage, so I would size up if available.

I really loved this dress. As I said, the colors in the fabric are very pretty, jewel tones. I usually wear a 4, but this 4 was pretty snug up top. I do have a larger rib cage, and I wear a C cup, but the dress pretty much flattened me out. I didn't necessarily mind, especially since I was wearing it for a work thing - but I'd want others to be aware. I only ordered the 4 so I didn't have the 6 to try, but I imagine if I rented it again, I would try the 6 for more room in my bust. Overall good experience. Glad I rented it.

Very cute with a great fit but runs 1-2 sizes small. Very short. Almost too short for work (and I'm a short girl). Would have been perfect if it was one inch longer. Still very cute and fun.

Fit tight on the chest and apparently not just on me, the seam was torn a bit. RTR gave me the okay to have a seamstress make the repair before wearing. It was fun and perfect for an engagement party.

I rented this for an awards ceremony at work. The material was nice, the top was snug and I had to size up. I felt the skirt was a little short & poofy. I ended up wearing black tights with high heel booties, so I was fully covered. Best part of the dress is that it had pockets!!

I ordered the Cynthia Rowley Coral Reef in a 10 and 12. The 12 couldn't come so this Cynthia Rowley was included instead. It's pretty much the same, just a different print. The 10 and 12 fit similar, with a little more room in the back/bust in the 12. Lately I've been wearing a size 10, so sized up for length, but length was still the challenge for me in this dress. I have a long torso so the waist didn't hit me low enough and as a result, the dress was way too short to be appropriate even with opaque stockings. If I sat down, it wouldn't cover my tush. While I couldn't wear it, I can say that the material was thick and beautiful. The flare skirt was super flare-y and playful, and the lines made it an elegant silhouette.

Great fit for my body. Tighter in the bust and torso. Shorter length but really accentuates your legs! Wore it to a formal gala and It was very appropriate!

This dress definitely runs small. Thankfully I chose the 12 as a back up but even the 12 was snug! For a dress that details at $500, I was pretty pissed at how flimsy the zipper was. The stylist says its for any cup size and while she may be correct, I'd warn girls with a full bust (like me!) this dress pancaked them a bit. Because of the snugness, the skirt on this pushed out more than expected, and kind of made me feel like a cupcake. I will say there was room to dance and room to eat! Beware it is short on girls over 5'5. Overall, however, this dress was both ceremony and reception appropriate and I got compliments on the look of it! Pair it with simple gold jewelry and nude heels and you can go anywhere!

The 2 came unhemmed which made it longer than I expected it to but overall was a great fit. I got a million compliments on it and was a total hit. I will definitely be renting from RTR again!

I was nervous about the length of this dress so I ordered my normal size (6) and a size up (8). I ended up wearing the 8 and it was still slightly short. The 6 looked like a shirt on me. I recommend ordering up in size, as it runs small. The skirt also flares out, making it shorter. I wore this to a late September wedding in Charleston and it was perfect for the temperature and season - summer cut with beautiful deep fall colors. It also photographs very well and I received tons of compliments! It was a really fun dancing dress too - flared skirt = fun for twirling :)

I'll start by saying this is a beautiful dress - I got a ton of compliments on it. Beware however - this dress is SHORT. I am 5 feet tall and it felt inappropriately short at times - especially while dancing at the wedding I rented it for. I am typically a 0/2 - XS. I ordered the 2. I had a LOT of trouble getting this zipped. The problem area was in my hips- it took spanx and two people to get it zipped. That being said, a 4 likely would have been too big.

The dress is beautifully crafted but the dress is a lot longer in picture than it is in person. I'm only 5' and it was a good 4" above my knees. So sad this dress didn't work out because it was the perfect style for the wedding.

I wore this for afternoon tea in London. Since I am petite, the length was perfect for my frame and felt flirty and fun. The dress definitely runs small, I wore an 8 instead of my usual size 6, but it fit like a glove. I received many compliments. The dress is on the heavier side so best for cool weather & looks expensive.

Absolutely loved this dress, though I wasn't expecting to (it was a back-up dress, but I ended up wearing it). Thicker material, but lightweight, so I didn't sweat at all even on an 80 degree day. The poufy skirt makes your waist look teeny tiny. RENTER BEWARE: this dress runs extremely small. I am 5'2", 108lbs and 34A and I literally always wear a size 00, XXS, or even Petite OO. I had to take a 2 in this dress, and it was still relatively tight at my 24" waist!

Gorgeous dress - the 8 would not zip over my waist or bust. Reordered in a size 10. Makes for a great holiday party dress or wedding guest dress!

This dress is stunning and made from quality fabric. The skirt flared out quite a bit, which was flattering for my shape. It was definitely shorter than I expected, but still appropriate for most events. Most importantly, it has POCKETS!
