This dress fit true to size and was very comfortable.

This dress runs true to size, but I would recommend sizing up if you have a bigger chest or hips as it is fitted in those areas. If you are wanting to dance at a wedding the arms are quite restricting. I couldn't raise my arms above my shoulders.

I had to wear Spanx and control top tights to get this one to zip. Also, the size 12 was very tight on my 38 D chest so did not wear bra. Not necessarily a bad thing there though 😊

I'm 65" 52 kg 32A and it fit quite nicely. Only thing, the lace does NOT give and can feel a wee bit constricting so if you're at odds with that maybe go for something with a bit more stretch:-) The underdress was plenty stretchy though. I loved it! And as hot as it was in the church the fabric was surprisingly breathable.

Beautiful color and details

Love these Cynthia Rawley lace sheaths. Same fit for all styles. Very stiff and no give, but works well for petite hourglass shapes. Perfect for my husband's work holiday party and dressed it up with silver glittery heels and a pearl cuff. Sleeves a bit long. Again, easy on the dry cleaning, bc these dresses will get dull for repeat cleaning so renter beware on age of rental.

I have loved every Cynthia Rowley dress I have rented but this was hands down my favorite!!! The color is perfect and I received so many compliments! The cut is also super flattering!!! Don't want to send it back but I have a different Cynthia Rowley dress on the way!! ;)

I thought this was going to be too short but it was the perfect length. Pretty comfortable, but the other reviews are correct in that you cannot raise your arms. But if that's ok with you then this dress is perfect. The emerald green color is rich and bright and flattering. The long sleeves made this perfect for a late September wedding. Got tons of compliments on this dress. I'm more pear shaped and there was enough room in the bottom and wasn't super loose on the top. 10/10.

This dress was great. I should have sized up but I think that's a personal problem and perhaps not a design flaw. The crochet sleeves did make it difficult to raise my arms but I still had fun! I received many compliments on this piece! Stand out in the crowd of black dresses with this emerald number!

Fit great! Good excuse to wear a long-sleeve to a chilly spring wedding. Ran a little short but I'm only 5'4" so it worked out fine.

This was perfect for a wedding in the mountains, it was very comfortable and I recieved endless compliments throughout the night. The size 2 was a little tight on my arms and across my chest, so I went with the size 4 and it was perfect.

Ordered 6/8. 6 was perfect, I would've normally got a 4 but everyone said size up and I'm glad I did. Didn't need to wear a bra, I loved this dress. Super comfy and super sexy with heels.

Very comfortable, but might can't lift arms fully above head. Flattering for hourglass figure. Perfect amount of stretch on the underneath layer. The green color is so pretty, as is the lace detail. Many compliments on this dress!

This was a great dress to rent! Very cool color and thick quality fabric. I wore this to a rehearsal dinner which was great! The sleeves don't allow much movement, so I wouldn't recommend wearing to a reception with dancing (or if you have a toddler in tow).

Beautiful dress that could easily be dressed up or down. The color was a gorgeous shade of green, perfect for the holiday party I was attending. I rented the sz 4 and 6. Both fit well, but the event was for work so I opted for the looser fitting 6 which also had a little more length. The sleeves were not too tight and there was plenty of room in the bust (I wore a strapless bra). The dress was very comfortable and I received compliments all evening. I would definitely rent this dress again!

The size 2 had a sticky zipper (on the hanger and on me) and the shoulders were too big. I'm not sure if it was stretched out by a previous renter or that's the fit. Luckily the size 0 fit perfect so I got to wear this beautiful dress twice (once to an outdoor wedding and once to a nighttime party with a jacket over top to create a more casual look).

This dress was a hit at the outdoor, fall wedding we attended. The size 6 fit so perfectly but was a little short, so I went with the 8 so as not to worry about flashing any guests. The dress was exceptionally well made, and the color was truly brilliant. I would absolutely rent this one again!

Picked this dress for my 30th birthday wine tour and it was perfect. A little tight on my arms but I wore a denim jacket over it most of the day so it wasn't really noticeable and overall it was just such a pretty color and great fit otherwise. I'd def recommend for a fall wedding or casual event it can be paired with heels to be fancy or boots to be more casual.

The dress is beautiful and I got a lot of compliments. As most others stated, it runs small and the fabric provides little give for movement. It comes up a bit when you sit, also, so it was a bit awkward and I felt I was pulling it down a lot during the ceremony. I would say if you know you'll be standing a lot, it's a great dress. I had to cut out before the reception, but I imagine it would probably be difficult to dance in. I typically wear a 6-8 and the 8 fit only slightly snug and the 10 was way too big. Because of the layers and fabric, I was able to not wear a bra.

I got endless compliments – color and fit were perfect. This dress is closer to the color in my photo than the blue/green on the model. Wore to a late April wedding with nude pumps and bag and lime green/gold chandelier earrings. I'm short and have a big butt so at 5'3 I need at least a 6 IRL, so based on reviews I ordered a 6 and 8. I found little difference in the sizes but the 6 just fit better. The sleeves were a teeny bit long; I could have folded them without being noticed but just left them. I had no problem with arm mobility but needed help with the zipper. Fabric was significant (with little give), good for cooler weather and maybe not for warmer. I had room for a strapless for my 34Cs. Had to lay my purse over my legs during the ceremony bc it did ride up.

The color of this dress is SPECTACULAR. Holy crap. I wasn't expecting it to be as vibrant as it was and I was SO excited when I opened the bag. I desperately need to own this dress. In terms of sizing, I can usually wear a 4 or a 6, but the crochet has absolutely no give. The 4 was so tight across the arms and neck that I didn't think I would be able to lift my arms, much less breathe after a short period of time. The 6 was a flawless fit. I'm 5'3" and this dress was pretty short on me, but not so short that I felt uncomfortable. Ladies over 5'6" be careful. Definitely size up as a backup.

I loved this dress. The color is a real standout and gorgeous. It was a bit tight in the arms/chest though. I am 5'8 and I would have liked it to be a little bit longer but when I was standing it was ok!

Always being drawn to "the little black dress," the color of this dress was something different for me. The greenish teal color is cheerful without being too bright. The cut is flattering for curvy girls, and the sheer sleeves with short dress length adds just enough edginess to feel a little sexy. The fabric was slightly scratchy on my arms and neckline, but nothing intolerable. My biggest challenge in any outfit is always the bust (36 DD). This dress has barely enough room for a large bust, so I did feel a little stuffed in the top, but it worked. Overall, this dress is great quality with a good fit. I felt well dressed at my work party.

Rented this for a semi formal dance. The color is beautiful and very rich. The lace is heavier than it appears online so if you get warm dancing, just an FYI this dress will not breathe. The length and fit was perfect and the long sleeves I felt made it classy. Would rent again!

Fit is true to size. I'm 5'2" and the dress hit about 2 inches above the knee, not too short. Zipper can be tricky; I needed extra hands to help zip me up. Overall, fun, flirty, unique dress. Lots of compliments. This is my 3rd time renting from RTR and I've never been disappointed.

I cannot tell you how many compliments I received on this unique dress! I'm an XS/0 and even with a strapless bra, it was a little big in the shoulder area, chest & arms. Such a beautiful dress!

Great color and fit. A little difficult to move your arms high because of the thick lace but I didn't see that as an issue. Loved this dress so much, almost didn't want to send out back.

Loved this dress! Got many compliments all around at my cousin's formal wedding, and my aunt even declared it the dress of the night. The color is a vibrant green but not obnoxious. I usually wear a size 4, which this was. It's definitely form fitting, so would suggest either control top hose or good undies to make sure everything's laying smoothly. Since I'm petite, it hit right at the knee which was fine for this occasion. The sleeves were just a little long but I just folded up 1/2 inch and it blends in with the material. I'd recommend this dress if you're looking for something simple and classy but that stands out a bit. You can dress up or down for sure. Definitely a flattering pick!

I love this dress. It was perfect for the holiday party I attended. The backup dress that came had a hole in the shoulder. This was not a huge issue since I was happy in the size 4.
