I really liked this dress, it was just a little snug, but was still able to make it work. ( The zipper was made for the lace part but not the thicker texture fabric) I felt very cute and girly , I would recommend this dress to others, I just think you may have to size up if you have a larger chest of broader shoulders. Im 5'5 32C-26-36 for help understanding sizing :) Jen

This was my 2nd dress I rented from this designer. I absolutely love these dresses they are so unique, fun & beautiful. They definitely run on the small size so I would size up. Got so many compliments both gowns I wore, definitely recommend!

I wore this dress to a fall wedding and it was perfect for upstate NY weather! The top was very comfortable. Because I'm on the shorter side, the skirt in the back ended up being just slightly long. So if you're like me and on the shorter side, wear some higher heels!

I wanted the size 42 but it was not available. The dress was a little loose but fit. I received compliments all night from men and women. The back is sheer. This is a fun high low dress that will wow the room.

This dress was made for an outside wedding. With the lightness of the fabric I was able to walk comfortably in 90 degree heat. The skirt looked heavy in photos but it is light as air. I got a size 46 and 48 backup. I ended up using the 48 and it was still snug around the skirt line. Insane amounts of compliments from complete strangers! I would for sure rent this again!

I have hips and but and small breast and this dress worked well plus it had pockets. Got tons of compliments! I do not remember what size I wore but I do remember the top having no give, oh and get something to wear under the skirt it is see through.

The moment I walked out of the hotel random people on the street were commenting. It's unique, really beautiful, flowy. A def. head turner. Fit is def small. No give around the waist. Size up or even two for comfort. I didn't wear a bra and you couldn't see anything through the front or the skirt, so don't worry about it. Loved this dress! I normally wear S, sometimes M in dresses, wound up wearing M, and it was tight around the waist but doable.

The dress has a high waist which help cover any tummy imperfections you may have. The dress has pockets! Every dress should have pockets. I am 5'9" and the length was perfect. The dress is pretty shear otherwise it is a stunning and perfect dress!

I loved this dress! It was comfortable and no one else had anything like it in. However it is meant for a woman with a small cup size...no room for any type of bra and its slightly see through. Great for a nighttime event. Not so much for daylight

Once this was zipped up, it was hot like fire. But I was afraid for a second that I wouldn't get it on. I needed two people to help. Otherwise, dress needs a slip for sure. But it's beautiful, classy, and sexy. Love the color. Love the high low style.

I rented two sizes and although the both fit pretty much the same i went woth the latger because i had to use a tape push up bra and needed more room. I didnt get the nu-bra which was suggested and i would recommend you get that if you have a large chest like me! It was a beautiful fit and got lots of compliments!

Fun to dance, elegant perfect if you want to look great and don't feel overdressed. Many compliments. I am 5'1" and petite and it was just perfect, the zipper it's a little hard to close pass your waist but not too bad.

after reading the reviews, I knew the material was not forgiving in the midsection so I ordered a size up than what I would normally. For the 2nd option, I ordered a size up from that. I ended up wearing the larger size because it was more comfortable around the rib cage (so 2 sizes larger than normal). it still fit great everywhere else. Obvioulsy, because of the back, you can't wear a bra. this was seriously the best part of the dress though. I wore sticky cups and it worked great! You definitely don't need anything additional with this dress because it is just that cute but the earring that were sent with it were perfection. I seriously received about 35 comments on how many people love this dress!!!

I wore it without a bra and I'm large busted (34DD) and it was fine, I almost thought I should've worn a size 6, so it would've been more snug on my breast but I had a size 8 & 10 sent to my house so I was fine with the 8. No Spanx or anything needed. The skirt is flow-y and flattering! The back is see through, that's why I wore no bra. The skirt is a bit scratchy on the skin, but nothing to worry about really. I lived this dress! I wore it to my friend's wedding with strappy heals, red lipstick and hair in a low side bun to show off the back.

I loved renting this dress - one of my favorites from RTR. Got so many compliments on it. I was a little dubious about the asymmetrical skirt but it ended up being incredibly flattering and fun. The 42 was a tad bit tight but ended up fitting, and I didn't wear a bra. Overall highly recommend!

Rented for a formal dinner and I had people staring at me (in a good way) all evening! Strangers in the hotel, wait staff at our event, bartenders of both genders, and strangers off of the dance floor were complimenting me all evening! This is a very flattering dress! It's light material and has a lot of movement! It is a waist cincher though so if you don't have a very defined waist, go up a size. The back is open lace and, after 3 kids, there was no way I could go without a bra. The best backless bra I've found is from Aerie (American Eagle) and I've tried many. I was comfortable, ate, drank and danced all night!

I normally wear between a size 2-4, I ended up wearing the size 40 (size 4). The size 38 (2) was a little tight in the bust and waist. There is NO stretch to this dress. I wore a black lace bralette under the top and you could not tell the difference between the top and the bralette. I also wore a nude full panty under the skirt as there is no lining under it, but you cannot see through the dress despite that. Love the pockets. The top was a little scratchy and warm, as lace normally is, but it didn't bother me. The dress will fly up if it is windy. I paired it with the AV Max glamour cuff and the Dannijo Monaco earrings. I have never received so many compliments on a dress before - it's a keeper!!

Gorgeous fabric. Unique. Loved this dress, but I couldn't wear because runs too small in waist for me. Usually I am a size 6, sometimes an 8 if fitted waist. I ordered the equivalent of size 10 in this dress but I didn't come close to zipping at waist. I usually wear 27-28 inch jeans.

My favorite rental so far and it fit so great! I wore it to the Kentucky Derby and got tons of compliments. It is really a show stopper. I fit my usual size 10 and the size 12 fit loose right below the bust.

The waist is small, the torso was a bit long on me. I really loved wearing this. I ended up wearing a regular flesh colored bra and I don't think anyone noticed, even tho the back is lace. Got compliments from strangers as I walked down the street. Here's the thing: the skirt is sheer. You will feel like everyone can see thru your skirt but no one can! I took a lot of pictures, flash on and off, to test it. Made my date and my neighbors reassure me. I guess it's the way it folds over itself, plus he pockets. I'm definitely renting this one again!

Loved everything about this dress! It fit perfectly. It was modern and chic yet elegant and sophisticated. I received many compliments! The only thing to keep in mind that the dress is a little transparent so you may want to consider wearing an undergarment.

Loved the dress but it was so small in the waist and chest I couldn't zip it all the way. Zipped up the circumference of the waist was barely wide enough to fit over my head! Luckily I was able to pin it so it looked like it was supposed to be open back. Also incredibly see through! Recommend wearing a slip. But overall it was perfect for my derby party.

Flattering dress. The back is really tight. I ended up only hook the top abs wear it as an open back dress like the most reviewers here.

True to size. Zipper gave me a little trouble around the seam but with a little tug it zipped all the way up. Also the lower half is see through (just fyi if you did not try on in light before going to a day wedding... lol) But received nothing but compliments.

I liked this dress a lot - it doesn't look like most formal wedding guest dresses, but also doesn't look out of place. I forgot to take a better picture but I'm only 5'2 and with heels the skirt was not too long. Like others have said the waist is tight and the fabric is sheer. I wore a nubra because of the open back and the with the fit was comfortable. And pockets are of course wonderful.

Although I wish I had sized up one more size. The natural waist was really snug, definitely couldn't have sat down and ate, as it had absolutely zero give.. Luckily we got the zipper up and made it work!
