Stunning dress. Dressy - feels expensive. As you can see from the picture, very low. I had to wear a tank under which ruined it just a little bit. If you can go no bra with it, then may be better

It’s a bit of a heavy dress but I loved it! It’s clearly high quality. I paired it with a belt and an Ulla jacket from RTR!

I wore this dress to my son’s soccer game with Birkenstocks and then to a 50th birthday with jeweled sandals and a clutch. It’s a pretty thick material, so be mindful of that. Still draped beautifully and the subtle detailing in the color and down the front is a nice surprise.

Made well it is a very heavy fabric, but not hot. The neck line and front panel and the bottom 4 inches around the hem are a satiny fabric. This gives the dress a more elegant/dressy to semi dressy look. It fit me a little longer than it should have, but I think with the right shoes would’ve been great. unfortunately, I got this dress to wear to a more casual event/setting and because of the fabric and the way it fit. It was way too dressy for what I had planned. It can give a witchy type of look because it is straight up black but it also looks very classy and elegant with the right accessories, shoes, hairstyle, etc. it was kind of confusing because the model made it look more casual in my opinion. This is more of an evening/dressy dress not made for the daytime at least in the summer. I do plan on renting this again maybe closer to the fall/winter. Lastly, I would like to say, even though the fabric is heavy it was not heavy to a point where it was uncomfortable and too weighty to wear, in my opinion

This dress is so beautiful but unfortunately it’s just really huge, truly scaled only to someone who is super tall. I’m not even short but everything about it way simply way too long on me - a long skirt is ok but the torso was just way too long. But the material and cut and details are beautiful.

Let me start off by saying this dress is fantastic. The quality is top tier. It is going to be a hit for the holiday season and all of my boyfriend’s work functions. That being said, there are pros and cons to the dress. The fit is a little awkward. It is very low cut, and I switched to a low V bra for the pics (which shows my inner breast tan lines). The under arms are lower cut, so either going braless or wearing a black bra is likely necessary or I will be showing the bra. The collar is VERY heavy on the neck. As someone that has cervical issues, the weight of the dress combined with the heavy collar is likely going to be bothersome. The waist/cut of the dress is definitely made for someone with a longer torso than me. The pockets are hitting just below my hip joint. I’m 5’4” and the dress is almost to the ground, again likely made for someone taller than me. The contrast of the 2 fabrics really elevate the style. Like I said, I’m going to wear this for some work parties, but I could easily wear this to a wedding or event, dressing it up with jewelry or a handbag. Even though this dress isn’t the most perfect fit, I am very much obsessed with it. I do think that the other reviews were very accurate about the sizing. The dress has no stretch, but I’m comfortable in the XS, where I would usually need a small. I took a chance on the size because the small has not been available. If you’re on the fence, it’s definitely worth a try. The photos on the model, or even on me, do not do it justice.

This dress is very versatile and is much heavier than you would expect, but I got a lot of compliments on how unique it was for a LBD.

Extremely cute, hid my 6 month baby bump to the point where no one knew I was pregnant. Wore it in front of Anna Wintour. May need a safety pin.

Loved this dress, but the fabric was heavier than I anticipated. The V is quite low, but nothing a little fashion-tape won't fix. Really loved the pockets. Will absolutely rent this again -- maybe even buy it.

I first wore this dress on a trip to Europe. So glad I packed it! Perfect for daytime with flats but easily dressed up with heels for evening. Skip the bra for a manageable deep v - sexy without worrying about falling out. Plus, there are pockets! Material is heavy so better for spring fall versus summer.

Deep V keeps it interesting whereas the rest of the dress is very conservative; love the mix of satin on the hem.

Absolutely bold, gorgeous and elegant dress. You HAVE TO be ok with cleavage though and you can’t really wear a bra with it. It definitely some edge to it, so wear it with confidence.

This dress kept me from pausing my RTR subscription!! Sophisticated and so so sexy in a subtle way. Went braless with the deep V, and the dress didn't move--no adjusting or constant monitoring. Absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful lightweight wool and the satin panels dress it up and add interest. The drape is impeccable. Minor wrinkles fall out easily with travel steamer. Highest quality Item I've received from RTR in a long time.

I love the pockets and the fit. And the satin detailing helps to dress it up. I did find this dress to fit big and had to wait and exchange for a smaller size.

The dress was unfortunately not meant for summer. I was hoping to bring it to a trip in europe (summer) but it's too heavy. It is great to wear for a city like NY, London, Paris in the fall. It runs large and the fit is more comfort chic

Based on reviews I ordered up, and I definitely needed the room around my rib cage but then the shoulders, bust area and hips were too big. This dress is also VERY heavy and so even though I was looking for "warm weather" clothing, I would die wearing this in the 90 degree heat.
