I got so many compliments wearing this dress to my company holiday party. The material is nice a thick, so it smoothed out any bumps. I ended up going two sizes up from what I tried on in the store because they didn't have a 10 in stock. I was happy I ended up going up two sizes, it was still form fitting and work appropriate, but I think a 10 would have been perfect. Definitely a great dress for all hourglass figure types. Go for your size if you want a tight fit, go one size up for a more comfortable fit.

This dress was absolutely stunning. I normally bounce between a 6 or 8, but the 6 was perfect. The fabric is a little thick, but not too hot. I was comfortable all night, and even with a larger chest I didn't have to wear a bra (always a plus!). Color was gorgeous. Will rent again!

This dress was awesome. Very simple except for the beautiful scalloped cut out back. That made me sweep my hair to the side to show that off. Form fitting (scuba like) but fit perfectly. Love the longer length. Great dress to show off back and shoulders. I wore it to a slightly formal end of year party. Received many compliments.

The fabric of this gorgeous dress makes the fit tastefully hugging. The cut at the shoulders is fun and architectural and the back is a jaw dropper. I got so many compliments, I've never felt more beautiful. It's the perfect combination of sexy and elegant.

Wore this for a wedding and received so many compliments! It sucks you in night and tight but total mobility to dance away! I did have the neck halter part come undone once or twice during the night and not sure why that Happened but otherwise dress fit like a glove.

So many compliments on this dress! I loved the color and the fabric was great. The thicker fabric hid any lines. My only issue was that the back/neck clasp kept popping open throughout the night.

This dress was great for a pear shape. If you're smaller on top, it's a very flattering cut. I loved the shape and length. The back cutout was very flattering. Perfect for NYE. I got lots of compliments. I would suggest going a size up for this especially with the cut and fabric. This fit like a glove and was actually very comfortable!

Loved the bold color of the dress. It's a great style for a woman with curves. I felt confident and the open back is classy. I rented as part of the style pack so I included a multi-colored sparkly Kate Spade clutch and a Lulu Frost bracelet with a hint of blue. I wore gold sparkly heels.

I rented this for a party and I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments. The cut in the front of the dress makes you look ripped, it really defines your arms in a good way. The back of the dress is just a show stopper.

This brand is very consistent. Every time I rent I know the size will fit like a glove. This dress is stretchy and incredibly flattering. The only thing I struggled with was the top clasps kept coming undone.. Other than that the color, style and fit are amazing!

All pros, no cons. The color is fabulous, the fit is a dream. The dress was so well constructed I almost felt like it made me stand up more straight. I am right between a 6 and an 8. There was only a 6 available but it fit just right.

I chose this dress to walk the ESPYS red carpet in and could not have been happier with my choice. The dress fit like a glove, had just the right amount of stretch with nice thick fabric and a vibrant color (more vibrant in person than int he photos). I'm on the taller side at 5' 10" and this dress is perfect for a taller frame. Would definitely rent this dress again!

Rented this dress for my ribbon cutting ceromony for work and was the bell of the ball. I loved the fit and the back was so pretty with the scalloped edging. It was a professional feeling length to mid calve and fit like a glove. I also wore with a jacket over to a charity mixer later that evening and received many compliments as well. The color is vibrant and beautiful!

This dress was great. Thicker material so it felt "supportive" even though it was more of a body con fit through the hips. I have a wide ribcage and didn't have any issues with the back puckering - my normal size fit just fine. I got lots of compliments on the dress and especially the color. Definitely recommend this!

Incredible dress! I am curvy and it accentuated everything I wanted it to. Amazing color and gorgeous subtle details made this dress unforgettable. I paired it with an Oscar de la renta necklace: flawless. Only downside was that the lining was slightly longer than the hem. I will be renting this again!

It's a thick fabric so I didn't have to wear a bra which was great with the open back. I'm normally a 2-4 and had to get the 6 but 7 for perfect. I'm smaller in the shoulders so the top was alittle large in the back where it hooks closed. Loved this dress and the color!

The fit is like a glove. It has a portrait style back that really adds some drama. The length is great for petit led and it hugged all my curves!

I loved the dress but it runs small!! I ordered my normal size 6, and RTR didn't have an 8 as a backup so I went for the 10...thank god because the 10 was tight!!! It's very fitted but with spanx, it looked great. The fabric is nice but heavy. We attended an outdoor wedding ceremony on a hot humid day and it was uncomfortable until we went inside for the reception. The back of the dress is absolutely beautiful, I received compliments on the back all night long!

This dress was gorgeous. I normally wear a size 4-6 and based on other reviewers I knew this dress ran small so I ordered a 6 and 8. The size 6 fit but was a tad tight so I ended up wearing the 8. The material is very thick and stretchy, so even though it was tight it was still comfortable. I danced all night with no issues. I got lots of compliments and my husband loved it. The color is beautiful and it really accentuates your arms and booty. I would definitely rent it again.

I wore this to a local awards banquet. The cut was beautiful. I wish I had taken a photo of the back of the dress because it was beautiful. Some said it was right in the chest and loose in the hips. I am curvier so I found it to be ok in the chest and fitting in the hips. Great, classy, timeless piece with just enough edge with the open back to make it current.

I rented this for a wedding but didn't end up wearing it. The dress was way too tight (despite sizing up) and uncomfortable and would not have worked for an all day event. The open back was a little too wide and I would have had a hard time dancing in this.

I wore this dress for graduation and sadly only have pictures with my graduation gown over this gorgeous dress. The dress material is very nice and slimming. Would highly recommend this dress. Great fit!

Fit like a glove. I was pressed for time and had to exchange dresses for this one. The tea length was perfect. It was tight across the back but it has good stretch to the material so I was able to pull it off. I needed a size 12 but they only had a 10 for me. It runs true to size.

Holds everything in, no spanx needed. The reason I didn't end up wearing this dress was because the fabric pulled a bit on the cutout in the back. Beautiful color. I'll likely rent it for another occasion when I want something subtlety sexy with simple glamour.

Neck clasp was a little weird.

Gorgeous, head-turning dress. Super clingy though so I was most comfortable in a larger size. Fabric is thick but comfortable so no need to wear any spanks etc!

The neck clasp wouldn't stay closed so I had to secure it with a safety pin, but it wasn't visible so not a big deal. You also need a stick-on bra for this dress.

I wore this dress out to dinner with my boyfriend and he loved it! I don't think of him as a "fashion" guy, but he knows what he likes when he sees it and he loved this dress! He actually made a comment that he noticed the last couple of dresses I wore had lengths that were just below the knee. He asked if that was in fashion right now and I said yes, but the longer length had to be at just the right spot below the knee ( above the calf) and needed to be balanced with a sexy, fitted silhouette to work. He said he had no idea a below the knee dress could be so sexy but he loved it! A very nice compliment! :)

Professional yet sexy

This is a great dress! It has thick material, so it holds everything in. I ordered a size up, and I have a broad back. I was able to wear this without a bra and didn't have any problem. If it wasn't so damn expensive, I would have purchased it - I got nothing but compliments!

I'm 5'11'' and this dress fit me perfectly, and it was a great length. It was comfortable and flattering. A previous customer must have been too big for the dress because the seems were starting to come undone on one side. It could also be too long if you are short. I'm usually a 4 so I would recommend sizing up.

Great fit but runs a little tight if you have a large bust or rib cage. Great fabric and color. So many compliments!

Cons: long length! I am 5'7 so this was perfect. Hit me right at the knee, but may be below the knee for the shorter ladies! Pros: thick fabric! Very slimming, and I didn't need to wear a bra (I'm a 32 C)! Lots of compliments about the open back!

Great for taller ladies but just as nice for petite women like myself. This was long on me (mid-calf) but I preferred it given the colder weather. The thick material was ok even without a bra and means no need for spanx. Pair with a cool gold necklace (e.g., prickle collar by eddie borgo) and a cool coat and this is a perfect outfit for a fall wedding. The backless addition adds a bit of intrigue.

Pretty dress, the fabric is very thick and sucks you in like shapewear. I found it to be comfortable but the detail along the front and the low cut back didn't lay quite right, so I ultimately decided against this dress. I had ordered a different dress, and this was a backup style sent to me by rent the runway.
