This is my third time renting from RTR and has been my most favorite rental to date. The dress itself is impeccably constructed from a decently thick silk/satin fabric that has a diagonal weave throughout. I found the peplum to be extremely flattering, especially for someone like me who has a fairly nonexistent waist. Additionally, the peplum hit at a length that did not make me appear too short-waisted, which is a big pet peeve of mine on many dresses that feature peplum accents. Despite reviews stating that the bottom was too big, I didn't find it overly roomy or ill-fitted. If anything, it just gave the appearance that the dress was more structured and sheath-like in style. I will say that the bodice is very fitted, so it may pose some problems for women who are bustier (I'm between a 32 B and C, and actually wore the dress without a bra). I had originally ordered a 2 and 4 (I'm normally a 2 at BR and JCrew; 0 at Ann Taylor), but was told by the staff at RTR a day before my rental was to be shipped out that the 4 had been irreparably damaged; regardless, they were more than happy to send me any dress of my choice, should the 2 not work out. I'm glad it did, but was equally impressed with RTR's handling of the situation. Can't wait until my next rental!

I loved the color...I do wish there was more give to the material...but it looked amazing!

This is the second time I've rented a Cushnie et Ochs dress, and I couldn't be happier with them. This dress was structured but not stiff. The fabric was so rich and had a gorgeous shine. The length is conservative, but the dress is still sexy. I loved it and felt totally appropriately dressed for a classy outdoor wedding.

This dress is really nice and made well. The fabric and quality is amazing and I loved the way it fit on top and down through the hips. I didn't end up wearing this because the length was too long on me, it went down below my knees and wasn't flattering in that aspect only (I also hadn't ironed it yet fyi). This dress is great for fall and winter because the fabric is a little thicker. This dress is super comfortable too. I'd say if you're 5'7 or taller the length will be better for you.

Loved the look of this dress for a black-tie wedding in the heat of a New Jersey July. The dress fit perfectly in my size (10). The condition of the garment itself was very disappointing with faint stains on the front and areas of stress to the fabric at the back seam and back vent. The dress was wearable however and I was determined not to let that disappointment ruin the day. Stylist Janna was TERRIFIC and even managed to have more dresses shipped to arrive on Saturday (the day of the wedding). Because of Janna, I will definitely give RTR another chance to see if my experience was atypical.

This dress is gorgeous and elegant. The fit is true to size. I wore it to a outdoor spring luncheon that was quite conservative. I wore it with a big black and white hat. It's so simple , but cut beautifully and lovely material. Would definitely rent it again.

I've rented a fair bit in recent years, and this dress tops my list of favorite rentals. It ran true to size, and fit absolutely perfectly. It has a ton of structure, and the peplums sat exactly where they were intended to, and had the desired effect (I'm always a little worried about peplum styles, as I'm short and curvy). They didn't add bulk at the hips, and instead added very subtle structure. The dress is beautifully made, and the khaki color was the perfect neutral to show off some bold jewelry. I paired it with a chunky turquoise necklace and the color really popped. I'd rent this dress again...and again and again!

I rented this event for a semi-black tie affair for my boyfriend's office. The dress was perfect! Conservative enough for the event but different enough that I stood out from the crowd and felt edgy and cool. The fabric looks like a file in person (one of my fav. fabrics). I wore my true size in this dress and don't think I could have gone down a size because there isn't any stretch (as it says in the size & fit tab) and I think going up a size would have made the top too big. I am on the fence between proportional and pear. The dress hit me right below my knees and I wore a killer jewel tone pump to give me a bit of height. The cut of the neckline and size of the peplum were perfect for my proportions. I would love to rent this dress again for a wedding this summer and change it up with a neon accent.

The dress is absolutely gorgeous! Meant for formal affairs and or date night at an upscale restaurant. Love this designer and all the dresses in the line. Not ideal for long periods of sitting as the dress creases easily.

The dress fits true to size, thous a little bigger than expected in the shoulders. But not noticable enough to make a difference. It has a slimming effect that I loved.

This dress is so sophisticated and well made. I am typically a size 0 so I will say that anyone smaller than a 2 should probably stray away from this dress as it will be a little large on you, especially in the hips. The bust area is fitted but the skirt has room, so despite it not having stretch, this is great for women with curvier hips. Such a stylish dress, I would highly recommend it!

Loved this style and the color! Need a bit of a tan to pull it off and it runs slightly in the hips. I usually wear a 4 (34C and 26/27 pants) and the 2 fit the best in this style. I recommend it if you want to feel chic and sophisticated!

SO loved the way this dress looked in the photo and I'm built like the model. I am 5' 91/2" and a slim 36 - 25 - 36" Usually I'm a size 4 - but since this looked stretchy I also got it in the 2 for back up. Sadly neither worked - here's why: The top fits very fitted and the bottom is enormous! I fit the 4 on top (which was perfect) and the 2 on the bottom (which was still a quite roomy!?) Also the peplum does not show/stick out like in the photo. It lays much flatter and is not as pronounced and cute. I was heartbroken. On the plus side, the length and color were great! If you are EXTREMELY pear shaped - this is your dress!

The fit is perfect! The dress so classy and elegant. Unfortunately the condition of that particular size 4 was pretty shabby. The lining was not lined up anymore with the fabric due to wear and tear and the dress looked a little dirty. It was a beautiful dress however and I still wore it.
