Very sexy, and surprisingly comfortable!

This dress was actually my backup dress (the original dress I wanted was not available in a "long," and ended up being too short!). I am so happy I ended up wearing this one! It definitely runs small - I am usually a 2, but the 0L was perfect. I also was concerned about the bust situation of this dress - I NEVER go without a bra, and of course there is no opportunity to wear a bra with this dress...but it ended up being fine! The dress itself IS a built-in bra. The dress is very revealing, but my friends assured me it was still classy ;-). I got a MILLION complients at the wedding - I highly recommend this dress! Very fun!

Gorgeous dress! Made my night!

I wore this dress to the 2015 Academy Awards and felt like a million bucks among stars on the red carpet. It totally made my night. I did not think the dress looked like much online but after trying it on in the showroom I was sold. It looks SO much better in person than the model shot. I wore the 4 - it started out fitting well but loosened up a bit as the night went on... I may have been able to wear the 2. Fantastic dress and highly recommended. It looks even better than on the model! I was receiving compliments all night!

Amazingly simple, yet stunning gown! My favorite to date!

The chest area was a little snug for my size D cup, but I got more compliments than I've ever imagined wearing this dress. It's very flattering on a slimmer figure, because it does hang tightly and shows every curve. Although the straps & torso area were pretty long, it still fit great. The back has an awesome train that is the perfect length. LOVE this dress!!

The OMG WOW dress

This was a last-second replacement for a dress I originally ordered but came back to RTR from a previous customer damaged. I have never been happier with a Plan B in my life, because this dress is fabulous. It's very contemporary/modern/edgy/sleek/clean/minimalist, so if that is your aesthetic, this is the right dress for you. If you like Tibi, Topshop, Stella McCartney, or Solace London, you'll like this. The cutouts are risque, and it dips pretty low in the back, so only wear it to an event where you won't be hanging out with your parents or chatting up someone's grandma. I wore it to a college friend's wedding that wasn't technically "black tie" or "black tie optional", but the bride told me it was fancier, and the bridesmaids were going to wear floor-length dresses. The fabric is a medium-thick quality silk with some sheen to it, so it's definitely on the more formal side. Though I'm a true 6, I ordered an 8R because it's all that was left. I think the 6 would have fit just fine, because the 8 gave me some extra room in the hips. But luckily the 8 worked too. The dress is looser on top, especially the overlayer (the bra-like piece is a separate underlayer), so the 8 gapped a little on the sides. And the back dipped lower than the 6 would have (see 3rd photo). Lengthwise, the dress is cut slightly higher in front, with almost a little train in back. With heels on, the front of the 8R did not touch the ground, but the back dragged on the ground a bit. I just picked up the back as I walked, which you have to do in any maxi dress or skirt anyway. The bra-like piece is very minimal, and though it covered my B-cup chest, you can catch a glimpse of "under boob". I imagine it is best for small-chested women, and might not contain anything above a B cup.

Loved this dress. It was perfect for prom & I couldn't have asked for a better dress.

I overall really loved this dress. It was nice and tight. I felt it was a little loose towards the top part that covered the bralette, but it wasn't really a big deal. The material is great and this dress was perfect. I loved the cuts and the back.

Wore this dress to prom and fell in love with it!

Dress fits big on top if you have a smaller boob size, I am 5'7 and wore 4 inch heels and it was the perfect length. Loved this dress!

Perfect - favorite dress I've ever worn.

So glad I took a chance on this dress. I wore it to a black tie winter ball in New York, and it was originally my backup to a more standard black gown. I was worried about the cutout design being too much, or not fitting properly on the chest, but it added just the right amount of intrigue and I didn't end up needing a bra or petals. The blue silk fabric is rich and silky to wear and a beautiful color. Open back was very sexy, but the classic fit of the rest of the dress kept it appropriate for the occasion. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful, elegant, and sexy!

The dress was only available in a size 4R, so I wasn't able to get an alternative smaller size as I usually do. The dress fit a little big, but I was able to make it work so it didn't appear to be so large. I got tons of compliments on the dress, and it was incredibly comfortable to wear. The color is even prettier in person. Overall, loved this dress!

Received a ton of compliments, a truly unique dress. Classy but revealing.

Definitely on the smaller side. The bra top will only work for those who are small chested. Very slimming and the color is gorgeous and perfect for those looking to not wear black (even though you kind of wish you were)

I did not end up wearing this dress because the bust was way too small for me.

I love this dress, but I just couldn't wear it and feel appropriate at the same time, and I'm not very shy about that. It was way too small for my bust, which is a full 32D (and now I wonder maybe a DD?). I still gave three stars because I am sure it would be great if I were less endowed.

Interesting design & Beautiful material

The 0 ran a little large in the waist and the top was a little small for 32D but bottom of the dress was perfect and flowed beautifully. A rented the dress for a wedding but ended up wearing a different dress because this was a little to young looking and a little too prom-like for a 25 year old going to a black tie wedding.
