I received so many compliments on this dress! My boyfriend wanted me to buy it. The only issue is the lining is too long for the dress so it hangs out in spots. I saw this on other reviews and saved time to handle it when getting ready. I pulled it down as far as it would go and rolled it up and pinned it inside the dress. The outer material is sturdy enough that it wasn't visible. Otherwise it was very comfortable and flattering

This dress is very flattering. Despite the tight look, it has a supportive and thick lining giving it a high quality wear. The color is stand out and the back is subtle but beautiful. I'll probably rent this again! One caveat: the lining at the bottom will peak out. Just pin it!

I rented this dress for my good friends wedding rehearsal dinner. Three of us rented dresses, and surprisingly we all picked different colors and styles. This dress fit so well and hugged all your curves in the right places. Obviously you couldn't wear a bra, but as long as you aren't outside in the cold, the dress is perfectly capable of holding up with noone the wiser. This dress fit true to size and looked stunning. The only concern was the lining peaked out when I would sit down, but a small adjustment by pulling down the outer layer did the trick. I paired this with the Oscar de la Renta Northern Lights Drop Earrings. They looked amazing together, but the earrings are clip-ons and very heavy. I would recommend this dress for any cocktail type occasion or a night out!

Couldn't believe the support this dress provides. Can't remember the last time I went in public comfortably without a bra. Love this dress!

the original dress I had ordered was not available due to the snow storms so they made every attempt and sent several backup styles. I was hesitant about this dress but it was beyond amazing and fit perfectly. I loved every moment in this dress. it made me feel young and beautiful and sexy after baby. thanks rtr for making our family pictures look more amazing than ever

Form fitting but very comfortable. Does not work with a bra so if you need support, this dress wouldn't be good for you.

Loved this dress! It is a bit plain in front but the sheer back adds some flair. I added a chunky necklace too which made it less plain too. Great for a wedding, very nice lining (well made dress). I originally ordered the 0 but they only had a 2 which worked well for me because I doubt I would have fit in the 0! Would definitely recommend.

I went to the RTR showroom and fell in love with this dress (thanks Shannon!) It's lined in Satin so it's really comfortable. I also rented the Alexis Bittar necklace shown on the model and it really complemented the dress. I wore it to a wedding and it was a big hit!

LOVE this cobalt blue show stopper. The lining in the dress is beyond comfortable & the sheer back is such a surprise. A must rent!

Okay, maybe I felt more like a princess in my prom dress, but this dress is by far my favorite RTR dress so far! It is HOT. I ordered the 0 and 2, and the 2 was definitely too baggy in places (I'm 5'7, 115 lbs, 32B, and pear shaped). The color is a cross between purple and blue (indigo, for those of you who remember ROYGBIV). The fabric is awesome - I don't even know how to describe it other than "luxe". That was probably the best surprise about the dress, and one that pictures can't show. It has a thick enough liner that you don't need any shapewear, but you will need a backless bra and seamless thong (I used Nubra and Commando). The length was modest enough for a wedding, but the mesh shoulders and back added the perfect amount of sexy. I paired it with the kate spade of new york Green Hot Chip Statement Necklace. I really can't say enough about how much I loved this dress and how great I felt in it. I've checked for it going on sale to buy it, but so far no luck. If it ever does, I am buying it. Hell, maybe I'll rationalize a $1K dress purchase before then. That's how awesome this dress is.

Fit like a glove. I felt confident and all held in. Spanx were a must but that's pretty normal with any tight dress for me. Loved the length and the color really popped.

First RTR experience! Rented this dress for my birthday and wore it out to dinner and for drinks. It hugged every curve but was a very flattering cut. As other reviewers have said, you can't really wear a traditional bra with this dress. Even though I am smaller-chested I felt uncomfortable going bra-less as this dress did not have THAT much built-in support. I ended up buying a stick-on bra just to wear with this dress. Although I got lots of compliments, I did find myself adjusting the dress (pulling on the hem, etc.) several times over the course of the night. Overall, I enjoyed wearing this dress but was not in love with it and likely would not rent this dress again.

The dress fit perfectly and the color was great. The material was nice, and supportive enough that I didn't need a bra. My only complaint was that the lining stuck out of the bottom of the dress (even on the hanger) so I had to tape it so it didn't show all night. It looked as though the hem had fallen out at some point and was improperly repaired.

This is a great dress! It's tight but the material is pretty structured--still flattering on curvier figures and I didn't need to wear a bra. The one negative was that the sheer back went too low for me to wear shapewear, which I generally consider a necessity for form-fitting styles. So I ended up feeling more comfortable in the bigger size, which was a bit long on me.

The pictures don't show this but the dress was a little loose. This dress was actually a back up dress that RTR sent since the original dress I got did not fit well, otherwise I would have liked to try the size 4. The color of this dress is beautiful - bright blue and it is really comfortable! It is a thick fabric with a super soft satin lining inside and the mesh back adds a fun and sexy touch to the conservative front and length.

I actually reserved a different dress and was notified by the go to girl two days before my event. Rent the runway totally worked with me to get me the right look and in time! I would definitely rent again! The top back of this dress is the best part!

The dress fit really well! It wasn't skin tight, but it hugged me just the way I wanted it to. You'll want to wear a backless bra if you're chest-heavy; I'm a 36C and I could have gone braless if I really wanted to! That's how fitted the dress is. I didn't have any petals handy, so I went with the backless bra. The color is awesome! It's simple, but everyone was complimenting on the dress all night. RtR wins again! This actually wasn't my first pick for a dress; I had originally wanted the Ian Se Beijing dress, but the person who rented before me sent it back in too late =( RtR called me the day before and sent suggestions for replacement dresses, and this was one of them. I'm SO glad it worked out! Hopefully I'll have a chance to wear that other dress soon. =)

I wouldn't normally of chosen this dress but it was picked out for me at the Las Vegas Rent the Runway shop, and it is so flattering!! Great length on me and the color is really pretty.

The fit was snug but great. There is a little stretch. I could have fit in the smaller size but the mesh didn't irritate my skin in the larger size. It looked great and I felt great.

I loved this dress. The longer length and conservative front make it totally appropriate for a wedding but the sheer back adds a hint of sexiness and fun. The front of the dress doesn't have any structure so I wore a nubra with it which was perfect, may not work for bigger busted girls though

I rented this as my backup dress and didn't end up wearing it. I chose a Versace instead just because I could wear a bra with that dress and not this one. Beautiful color and sexy sheer back detail is lovely BUT I didn't feel as confident going bra-less as someone else might feel. Great for any occasion calling for a cocktail dress. True to size, comfortable fabric with a little stretch.

I unfortunately was not able to wear the 2 size, but the dress was beautiful. Great material. Very luxurious. Simple lines that provide a very sexy physique. Would love to rent again in the correct size. It is a size 2, true to size.

I liked this dress, I thought it was flattering for an hourglass shape. The front looks like a very classic sheath dress, but the back is a very daring shear material. I loved it, but my husband made sure I wore a wrap to cover the back most of the evening because he was concerned the back was a bit racy for his work event. I wore the Alexis Bittar necklace that the model is wearing which was AMAZING! It really popped on the dress. Also, I used a gold shawl which worked well with the necklace.

This dress was my "back-up" dress in case the Herve I chose didn't work. The only reason I chose the Herve over this dress was because it was a springtime/KY Derby event and I wanted the brighter colors in the other dress. This dress is understated elegance, beautifully constructed and just so classic, yet a touch of edginess with the sheer back. The 4 and 6 both fit but the 4 was a bit tight around the armholes and if you're not a tall girl (5'8" or more) the length is knee or below, just so you know. The color is saturated and scrumptious!

I didn't end up wearing this dress - I was told that my original size, a 0, was damaged and so I would still get my backup dress (they didn't have a size 2 available so I got a 4 as a backup) but I would need to select another dress. When this dress arrived, I still tried it on. The 4 actually fit quite well, but I could tell it was supposed to fit silghtly tighter - there was some gaping on my armpits and stuff. However, any tighter might have been obscene on my hips. The lining is very thick - if you're not overly blessed in the chest department, you could definitely get away without wearing a bra, as long as the size fit you well enough to hold them in. A 4 on me would have let mine swing a little bit freer than I prefer. Additionally, the hemline was falling out as if it had been ripped open. I was very suprised that got past RTR's QA team.

I ended up wearing a dress that I already own to this wedding because this dress ended up being so plain. It does have the sheer back but in person it does not stand out very much. My husband also said it looked fine but that nothing was special about it. I usually like dresses that show off one of your features very well whether it be your legs, arms, back, chest, just something! I felt that this dress did not do justice to any feature. The size 0 did fit fine so I would say it is true to size for anyone that still wants to order it.

Loved the indigo color. However not my favorite rtr. This dress is not for anyone short- I'm 5'8-9 and it came down to just above my knees and the torso has a long fit. It is form fitting, but it was loose it the stomach area. Got compliments on the back and that it was flattering.

I didn't end up wearing this because both the 6 and 8 were too tight. Very beautiful dress in a gorgeous color, but it was not flattering for wide hips. While the fabric stretched, it was not flattering. I needed at least a size 10 in order for it to fit! Definitely not what I was expecting.

This dress has stretch and really hugs the body. The color is beautiful. It wasn't the look I was going for, but it was a great dress nonetheless.

Wore this to a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Sexy but not over the top. I only got a size 2 (my own fault) but I could have definitely gone up in size. This dress fit like a glove but was a hair too tight in the arms/bust area. Perfect length for me. Loved the color, so vibrant! Wish I owned this dress, I could definitely wear to date nights and parties.
