This dress was AMAZING. It's so fun and lively and the details are gorgeous. The photo of the dress is very accurate and the fit is true to size as well. This dress is perfect for a cocktail party or bachelorette trip. It's even appropriate for a wedding with the pleating and details. I wanted to keep it in my closet!

Wore for an evening wedding. Pros: Great overall dress for hourglass body type. Form fitting through torso with flared skirt. Cons: Difficult to get over my broad shoulders when putting the dress on. I wore a size 2. My backup size was a 4, which was a little large on the top.

Everything about this dress was amazing. The fit, the design, the fabric. I was a huge fan and would rent it again. It also wasn't too fancy for a less formal occasion, but could be dressed up nice if you wanted it to be more formal.

The material on this dress is thicker and more dressy then some of the other fit and flare black dresses on the site. It was really flattering in the midsection area and the drop waste pleated skirt was really cute. If your bigger then a D, you will need to size up because its more fitted in the bust area. Can't wait to rent this again!

I rented this dress and the necklace shown for a trip to NYC. I wore this dress to Wicked. I typically wear a 6 and it fit perfectly! I loved the way the dress fit me up top and I got a lot of compliments. I thought it would have been a bit shorter based on the pictures, but It turned out to hit just above my knees which ended up being perfect for the occasion. The pattern of the dress was wonderful, kicked it up a notch from the typical LBD. Loved this dress, would rent again!

Cute in person but print doesn't come out in photos as well. Flattering for the midsection. Fabric is thick and not stretchy at all so I recommend ordering up.

I loved this dress! Great shape. Very flattering. Structured, so it hid imperfections in the body. It was VERY small in the bust. I'm a full 36B and had a hard time fitting into the size 6. I'd suggest a size or two up especially because the fabric provides no give. I would absolutely rent this dress again. So gorgeous, easy and flattering.

I rented the 2, and a 4 as a back-up. Putting the dress on was a little difficult because the fabric has absolutely no "give." The "zig-zag" part is tapered in on the dress; so it's a little difficult to get around your shoulders putting on - but I'm also a little broad. The 2 fit like a glove - but the bodice looked weird when I sat down, so I opted for the 4. The main difference to me between the two sizes was the length of the straps - they were a little longer on the 4, which helps if you have a long torso like me. I loved the dress, and it definitely amped up the LBD with the patterned design! The only downside would be the proportions. The "zig-zag" part didn't hit me where it does on the model - it hit me at my waist instead of my hips. The picture isn't the greatest - but it's the only one that had enough light to show the pattern!

Loved the texture, pattern, pleats, and dancing (mostly twirling) in this dress, BUT this was IMPOSSIBLE to get on and off. I am normally a 4 in dresses, but had to rush order this in an 8! There was a lot of popping my shoulder in and out of the socket, taking breaks to breathe and remind myself no one has died getting into a dress before, and help from another person getting it off. They should have designed this so the zipper went down further! Once it is on, however, it is lovely and not too tight. But... aren't everyone's shoulders wider than their waist?????

This dress runs small. Earlier in the day I had on a size 4 fit n flare from WHBM but the 8 was tight on me in this dress. This dress is super flattering and is comfortable once you get it on. The zipper stops just above the waste so it is very hard to get on. The fabric doesn't have any give. It comes off easily if you can get someone to help pull it from the top. This dress made me feel like a princess. I would highly recommend it.

I wore this dress to a wedding and it was beautiful. The only down side of this is that it is so hard to put on and take off! The zipper does not go down far enough so I had a lot of trouble getting the dress over my shoulders. Once I got it on, it fit like a glove. Think twice about this one if you aren't willing to do some gymnastics to put it on. I actually had to have my sister help me take it off at the end of the night.

Busty girls, stay away! As a 34D, I had lots of trouble getting it on and off; I admit to having my mom yank it over my head. Beautiful dress and fabric with a cute skirt and flattering fit. Thank you RTR!

This dress is so cute on however I'm was not sure for a minute how I was going to get it on and off. The zipper only goes to your waist so getting it over your shoulders and boobs was difficult. So pretty on and a lot of fun. However I f you are big chested I would recommend another style.

Fit was a little tight on my hips, but besides that it was great. Really loved it!

This dress was great for a rehearsal dinner. Classic black but with interesting detail in the fabric and the pleating. Loved it! Fit like a glove.

The flare style of the skirt makes it fun/flirty, but it's still formalish feeling.

This is supposed to be my birthday dress. A backup size wasn't available, so I only ordered a 6- my normal size. When it arrived, it was more like a size 2 instead of a 6. I couldn't get it over my hips or shoulders. I had to go to my closet and wear a dress I already owned. It looked like a pretty dress, I wish I could have worn it.

Great dress, lots of compliments, super easy to wear. I had to pull my bra straps in an x across my back to wear a regular bra and you couldn't see the straps. Otherwise you need to wear strapless. I order the 4 and 2, I'm in between sizes normally and they both fit. The two flared out a little funny at my hips so I went with the four but they were both comfortable. I'm 5'5" and wore to a school event and it was appropriate length. Very classy.

I wore this dress to a funeral--yes a funeral. I had been feeling down and wanted a pick me up to just lift my mood for meeting and greeting tons of people over the course of a very long day. This dress was simple yet stunning in its detail and fit. The 4 was the only size available when I ordered and when this dress is on and zipped up it fit perfectly. However, ladies beware of your hips and your chest when putting this dress on and, especially, when taking it off. The dress is tapered at the waste and that's exactly where the zipper ends. If you have curves of any kind, you will want to order one size up to help prevent a panic attack (no you will not get stuck in it for life). :)

I really wanted to wear this dress but it only zips midway down the back of the dress leaving 0 room to pull up over my hips or pull down past my shoulders. Otherwise it was a pretty dress. Disappointed.

The dress was too big in the top and had a much longer torso than I expected. It's a true drop waist.

This dress actually fit well around the bust and waist, but if you are not 5'7, I think it's a tad long, and it ended up looking too professional or matronly for my event. Unfortunately, i couldn't wear it, but if you have long legs, I think it could be elegantly fun!

I didn't care for the material or the cut. Made my shoulder look really broad and that is not my shape at all.

i rented this in both size 4 and 6 and couldn't even get in to either size. it seemed like the zipper just wouldn't go down far enough to create room to get in to it. i know that the fit guide says it runs small and to size up, but i can't believe neither size would even allow me to get my legs through, or over my arms when trying the other way. it was a beautiful dress, so i was sad i couldn't wear it.

This was my backup dress option for a wedding. Went with the other dress. It wasn't the best fit for my petite frame but I did like the fabric. Probably best for a winter event.

I received this dress in a size 6 and 8 and I couldn't wear the 6. I fit it the 8 but the top was baggy and it was tight on my hips. You need to be tall and skinny to wear this one!

Definitely runs small! You have to squeeze it over your shoulders but once you do it looks great! I loved the dress felt great in it!

I read in other reviews that this dress runs small but upon receiving it, I saw that the real issue is that the zipper only goes down to the narrowest part of the dress and not past it. So be prepared- you will need to be able to get the waist of the dress over your shoulders and chest. I ended up wearing the backup size because I was never going to get the 4 on. I essentially had to pop my shoulder out to get it on and needed help getting it off and if I had a larger chest I would not have been able to put the dress on. Once on it was very flattering and well constructed. I wouldn't rent it again because of the zipper issue which is such a bummer because I loved it otherwise.

I am now in love with this brand but this dress had a very long fit through the torso. I'm petite but very proportionate and it felt as though I had to pull it down to stay more in place as my torso just didn't support the length. It also had a very full skirt! I loved the feel but it took a minute to get used to how full it was. I'd definitely recommend for anyone with a long torso and someone who wants a classic LBD!

I am usually a 2 or a 4 but the 4 was unavailable so I went for the 2. It was almost impossible to get the 2 over my head and I had to try several times though I could tell the dress was close to ripping every time. This is because the zipper on the back doesn't go down very far so there's not much room to get yourself into the dress. I didn't wear a bra because it was very tight around the bust. I eventually got it on and somehow zipped it up and it looked great. The pattern is very cool. Dress definitely runs small so be sure to order up.

Rented this dress for a friend's wedding and didn't even get a chance to wear it. I'm a size 2 or 4 and even the 8 didn't fit. Very disappointed.
