Black keeps it classy while the white detail brightens it up. I got so many compliments on how unique the dress was. The sequins are soft, not scratchy, and smaller/finer than typical--two girls had to actually feel the dress to believe me. I typically wear a 2 in other dresses (J. Crew, most women's formal wear) and this fit perfectly. Only thing is, I am 5'4" wearing 4" heels, and the 2R was still about an inch too long in the back.

The dress is lined so it wasnt scratchy, it was just what I needed for a gala I attended.

I wore this to a "Fire and Ice Ball". It was comfortable and had give in both the stomach and hips area. The regular length was just right for my 5'6" frame.

Fit like a glove on my 12-14 frame (and tiny). Wore a regular bra, fit nicely in underarm/no gaps. At 5' 6" it just brushed the ground in 2.5" heels. A little scratchy under the arm, but that's what happens with sequins. Received many compliments.

I wore this gown for a gala in NYC and received so many compliments. The dress was very flattering and i did like the slight fishtail in the back. I did have to hold it up just a little so as not to get my heel caught and trip...that would have been an epic fail. I will tell you that the sequin hurt when it gets inder your nails as your holding it up so be careful.

Based on previous reviews, I ordered my usual size 4 and the fit was perfect. Note for taller girls -- I'm 5'9" and the L was a little shorter than I hoped. I only wore 2" heels and the top of my shoe was visible. Still it's an absolutely stunning dress, just wish it was a bit longer so I could've worn higher heels. Hard to tell in some of the other photos, but the sequins are black and white. While the all over sequins make the dress a little heavy, it is extremely comfortable with a bit of stretch to it. I felt like a princess, got a ton of compliments, and could've worn it all night! Wish I could keep it!

Great fit for my very curvy body. Wore a racer-back bra and the dress showed off my newly tanned shoulders. Lots of compliments. It has great coverage, while not looking dowdy or matronly. It looks cool and hip and youthful, but not inappropriately so. The sequins did scratch my arms a little, but not bad (and I'm picky about this). Overall, I loved it and would rent it again for another formal event.

The dress fit like a glove and was incredibly comfortable. I ordered both the regular length and the long length and was glad I did, as the regular length was too short even without shoes. The long length was just right with medium height heels. I saw reviews that stated the sequins were itchy under your arms, but I didn't experience that discomfort. The only con with this dress is that it is a tad heavy, but that is to be expected with a fully lined sequined gown. I received so many compliments on the dress that I started to feel a little self conscious.

This dress is incredible!!! It was last min choice because my original dress didn't look good. If you have curve this dress is going to make your body look amazing!! I got a million compliments and everyone said I look so glamour :-)

Absolutely loved this dress, received so many compliments. I usually wear a 6 or 8. I rented 6 R and it fit perfect for me. Definitely size down. The 6 was comfortable and still had a little room, so no need for spanx. I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels and it was perfect length.

Very comfortable and flattering dress! I liked that I had room to breathe and move. I probably should have gone with the long, but it worked for the event.

I ordered both the 4L and the 6L, went with the 6L because I wear a 34DDD and have broad shoulders so the 4 was a little too tight in the bust but fit in the waist. The dress is a little bit heavy as others mentioned due to the sequins but I wore it for several hours with no issues. Loved the style and fit, would definitely recommend!

This dress was amazing! I wore it to a New Years Eve black tie gala for an opening of a theater. I received many compliments throughout the night form men and women! It does run big, I am typically a 10 but that was not available so I sized up to a 12. It was roomy in the hips and bodice. The bust was ok for my 34DDD figure. The dress is bra friendly which is fantastic. The sequins make it quite heavy, so I would not choose this for a summer or outdoor affair. It does not require much jewelry, I wore rhinestone chandelier earrings and strappy silver shoes. The dress looks silver, but it is actually a combination of white and black sequins, no silver at all. You could do silver or black heels. The length was perfect on me with 3" heels, so if you are taller than 5'5, get the long. I will definitely rent this again for a winter black tie, it's my favorite RTR find yet!

This dress runs a bit big, so I wore a size smaller and it fit really well. Many compliments throughout the evening.

This dress was so comfortable- runs large so keep that in mind. Loved the unique look of the ombre sequins and got compliments all night. Only complaint is that the hem kept catching on my stepson heels but easily remedied by lifting a bit when walking.

Gorgeous dress - the ombré starts as a white sequin. Arrived with tag still on and I ended up not wearing so it's still as good as new! The 10 ended up being a little big on me and long- with the hefty price tag I was a little intimidated to be the first to wear. Will certainly be a standout number this holiday season!!

it was beautiful and made well, I loved it. It was a little long still, everything is at my height. It had a hemmed seem around the next and underarms so the sequins were not irritating you in any way. I was very much pleased and impressed with the dress.

This dress and the back up dress (same dress, different size) the inside lining was torn. I could still wear the dress but I expected it to be perfect.

Fit great, nice heavy material, only disappointing feature is the length, I am 5'9" and it was perfect length with flats.

Pretty dress but runs kind of big. I am a pretty standard 6 but felt I needed a 4 ( my back up was an 8). The dress also seems like it has been worn a bunch - like almost worn out. But it was very pretty and I got a lot of compliments. It is flattering and comfortable (except for quite long - even the regular - I am 5'4" so maybe need to try petite).

Loved this dress. It was a backup dress sent when there was an issue with my original order. I chose a different dress but this was a close second. Runs slightly big but has a beautiful fit!

I had a great time wearing this standout dress! There were over 1200 people at the event I attended, and no one else had anything like it! After reading the reviews, I ordered a size smaller for my back-up. But I ended up wearing my normal size, as the heavy sequined fabric hangs & moves better if you give it some room. Both sizes were comfortable and long enough for me, at 5'9 wearing 3 inch heels. My only complaint was that the weight of the dress made it pull at the front, between the shoulder and the bust. But that's balanced out by the ombré looking fantastic in pictures :)

I rented the 4L, but ended up not wearing it, since it was too short -- barely hit my ankles, while quite loose in the waist. Not a flattering look. The dress itself is gorgeous, but not suited for the long-legged, I guess.

Loved this dress! I got it as a back-up dress, as my original didn't send. I'm so glad I did! The dress fit perfect - with a little bit of room to spare. I did have a 0, also, but did not try it on. I liked having a little bit of room to move in this dress. It is a little on the heavier side, which was great with the lower temperatures (I wore it mid-November). I stand about 5'6", and wore a 1" heal, and the dress just brushed the floor.

This dress is lovely. I had many compliments and felt really luxurious! It is a fitted gown that gives your curves a nice flow and shows off nice shoulder and arm definition .

Loved it. This was a backup dress. So glad I had it because the original dress I ordered was unavailable and the replacement gave the appearance of inexpensive and cheep. This dress hung great. Fit great. Sparkled and was perfect for a black tie wedding. I actually could have either gone down a size or done with a 6R vs/ 6L.

It ran a little long and I did have to put a temporary hem in it.
