I'm normally a 10/12 in dresses, but often need to size up for extra room in the chest. The 10 wasn't available, so I went for the 12 and it was super comfortable. My chest wasn't crushed like it usually is in formal dresses, and I had enough room in the hips/waist so that I could move freely, but also had my shape outlined. I wore this for a work formal fundraiser and felt confident. I didn't want anything that was inappropriate for a work setting, and the peephole in the center was just enough to be sexy and still suitable for a work affair (also ladies with bigger chests, not that this will dress will create a peephole unlike what you see in the photo on RTR). Overall, I would rent this dress again!

Pros: The fabric is thick and hides imperfections. I'm insecure about my middle but wanted to show off my figure, and with some spanx the dress was perfect. I'm large chested and the peephole where it crisscrosses didn't show too much. This dress is super flattering, great for an hourglass figure. It was also really comfortable to wear for a long period of time. The only con was the length.. I'm only 5'3" and with the dress not even being a petite size, it justtttt hit the floor and that was without heels. Luckily I wore comfy flats for the ball but if I had worn heels it would have shown my feet for sure. I got lots of compliments though, I felt so pretty!!

Loved the dress. Didn’t love the 6” heels I had to wear for the dress not to drag. True to size. Fit great with deep V strapless bra.

I love this dress! The neckline is super flattering and also super comfortable. If you have a big bust it might gap in front with the keyhole opening but for me that wasn’t an issue. :)

Was gorgeous. Heavy fabric cut on the bias is flattering and forgiving. I wore 4 inch heels and it still dragged a bit in the back. I think I could have gone one size smaller (and petite) and still have been comfortable.

It was a little short in the front but longer in the back.

This dress was very comfortable and hit in all the right places. I am a 36dd and did not end up wearing a bra but no one could tell. I also ordered the long as the regular was too short with heels. The only part that was not perfect was that it was a little tight around the neck...I wore my hair down and just unzipped the top a tiny bit. Would definitely rent again

This dress fit perfect to size. It was lightweight yet sturdy fabric with a nice texture for the plain black color. I'm a 36D and I didn't need to wear a bra, which was a miracle. I'm 5'5" and wore 3" heels and the regular height could have been an inch shorter but otherwise it was fine. Got loads of compliments. This was my backup dress, and I'm so glad I ordered it! Definitely order as a backup dress in case more complicated dresses don't fit.

This dress was perfect for a Mardi Gras ball where I wanted a simple dress that could be jazzed up with fun accessories. Great heavy weight material but not hot. Fun neckline with slight little peekaboo detail

The dress was a perfect combination of elegance and comfort - it felt amazing! It's fully lined and draped perfectly over my hips. I'm 5' 3.5" and wore three inch heels. It was still a bit long, maybe an inch, but the bottom flows so nicely that it wasn't a problem.

Ordered a 14L and wore a 14L. I'm 5'8, 38D, and 190lbs. My body type is a plump hour glass. This dress fit in all the right places. I felt confident and look forward to using RTR again in the future.

This was a back up back up dress, but it was perfect. I am 5’7 and I’m so glad I got the long bc it allowed me to wear 2in heels. Tall girls be sure to order the long. If you are busty the top will pull. I wore a black bandeau underneath. Overall this is a classic style, flattering on any body type.

This dress fit true to size- I'm 5'7 and 129 lbs and I wore the 4R. One interesting thing is that the 4 had a small train but the 2 did not. I could have worn the 2 but it has more fitted through the chest then I was comfortable with so I went with the 4 and was just mindful of the train.

I rented this dress for a black-tie function. The cut is very flattering and the dress fits perfectly. There is some stretch the material and it's forgiving . I would so rent this again!!!

This dress was a backup last minute because they ran out of one size in one of my first picks ... I am so happy I picked this dress!! The length was perfect , I got the long ( I'm 5"7 and wore 4 inch heels ) I'm originally a 12-14 in jeans , and this was too big but I made it work. I used pins under my armpits to tighten it. I got compliments , and I felt beautiful!!!!

Fit true to size. A little big in the chest but prefer that to too tight. Short length! I'm 5'2 and wore 2" heels and it was perfect. Loved the thick material, hid all body flaws. Definitely recommend!

This dress was beautiful!! Full coverage. I think I could have worn the 10R. Comfortable. The fabric is lightly textured and quite lovely!! I wore a convertible bra and got creative with the straps. I wore 3" heels. I would highly recommend this dress for a formal event or gala!!!

I rented this dress for a gala in January. The material is thick and has a texture to it. I didn't have to wear spanx if I didn't want to. Strapless or Nubra will work fine. The dress itself is comfortable and didn't feel like I needed to suck anything in or tug on anything. It was sturdy and reliable. Easy to dance in! I wore 3 inch heels and I'm 5'5" and it was right on target. The back has a little train to it. Comments I received was how the dress looked classy and sophisticated.

Beautiful and extremely comfortable! Unfortunately, had to go without a bra since even my stick-on ones showed in the front. Happily, the fabric and lining were heavy enough it didn't really matter. I only wish I could afford to keep this in my closet permanently!

If you're over 5'10", order the LONG sizing for sure! I ordered regular and long and the regular looked funny/too short with my high heels on.

It was a little long even with heels but the material was comfortable and the chignon twist was a hit!

I absolutely loved this dress. The material is thicker so it doesn't hug curves, which is nice if you need a little give. It also kept me warmer due to the material. The dress does have a really nice shape and sits well. I loved the classy look of the front and the almost full back. I ordered a 6L and 4L, and wore the 4L. I probably could have worn a 2L, but the boob window would have shown and I didn't want that. I did have to pull a few times at the top to ensure it wasn't showing. The dress also does have a small train so be aware. Would definitely pair it with sparkly earrings next time.

My husband had a black tie event that I needed to go to 4 weeks postpartum. Needless to say, I didn't want to buy a dress post baby, so RTR came to the rescue. I had no idea what size to wear due to baby weight and very large milk filled breasts. This dress is on the thicker side, which for my case, was perfect because if sucked and hid any imperfections (post baby rolls, etc). I paired it with a faux fur shawl I had from a Gatsby party I had attended earlier in the year, which made my black tie attire very hollywood glam. It was perfect! I'm currently maybe (i think) a 40 E or F cup.

The fit was a bit tight up top, but considering it is a halter neckline, I got what I wanted. I decided to not wear a bra with the dress, but I would suggest getting either a strapless or a nubra if that weirds you out. I usually wear sizes 8-10, but decided to go down a size after reading the reviews, and am glad I did. It was still tad long after wearing 4 inch heels, but it was a manageable train for me since I did not have to move excessively. The dress made me feel elegant and chic at the same time! I highly recommend getting this.

The dress accommodated my full bust line and was very flattering. It also hung nicely in my body. I loved the fact the dress was well lined and did not require me to having to wear a spanx or girdle. I could have gone down a size smaller because I did have some excess fabric around the butt and hip area. But, again it did not look bad at all.
