I absolutely, positively loved this gown. It fit perfectly. I have definite hips and caboose so ordered a size up as others recommended. I ordered a 16R and it fit all my curves. Not too snug or too loose. I especially adored the charcoal and cream pearl beading collar. It truly brought out the Coral coloring of the gown. I ordered on a Saturday and received it on Thursday. Awesome. I received so many compliments from younger and older friends and family at my Sister's 40th Birthday Formal. This Gown made a 51 year old feel Classy and very Sexy. My Fav new website.

I'm heavier than usual right now and worried about fit. Everyone was correct in saying the under-slip fit tight. Probably would've appreciated a larger size (wasn't available). But the color (deep coral) really stood out in a tasteful way and I felt great! The fabric also moved well and felt nice. I've included a close up pic of the beadwork at the neck as I didn't see one on here and my original jewelry wasn't right for this, but it was gorgeous and different and saved me from having to find a necklace. Overall, I'd highly recommend this dress!

The color is great for summer. There is a lining that was a little tight. Otherwise, the structure of the dress is very flattering. There is a slight train and you have to be careful when someone steps on it. This happened only a few times during the evening. I had to wear platform heels to make sure the hem hit the floor properly. I received a lot of compliments on it and I’m sure you will too!

I loved the slit up the middle and the flap of fabric down the center. It hid any imperfections (of mine) that may have been hidden underneath. I went with a slightly larger size because my chest is so big I think I needed to have the extra room.

I liked the feel of the 6 better but the 8 moved better over my undgarments. It is long but I had 3 in heels and it was fine walking and dancing. I really loved wearing it.

I wore this dress to one of my pledge sister's weddings in Nashville, and I felt like a million bucks. I normally wear a 14 but I chose to wear the 16R so I could have a little extra room. I got so many compliments. The material was great- not too hot and it laid really well. I loved the neck accent too- it was nice not having to worry about finding a necklace! I also loved how this dress was a like long maxi, but unlike other long dresses, this one actually was cut so that it defined my waist, which is a huge plus. If I don't have a dress that gives me a waist, I feel like a blob. Definitely recommend for people with a large bust (because you don't have to worry about busting out of your dress), and for people who have an hourglass or pear shape. NOTE: The dress looks much redder in person than coral- you can see the pictures taken outside in the natural light and you'll see what I mean.

This dress gave me life and then some. From left to right, receiving compliments from the crew members to friends that showed up yesterday. I had so much fun dancing, twirling and letting the wind do its thing. (It was a little but didn't care). The best of all, I was crown princess and best dressed of the banquet. Coming from a little depression to being on cloud 9 felt amazing. Instead of feeling like a princess, I felt more like a queen and I owned the afternoon with this dress. The con about the dress was that it was a little bit too long with wearing 4" heels causing me to make a few "marks" on the dress. I felt so bad. I wanted to pay for it too but someone told me that once it's insured, I didn't have to worry about it. Phew!!

Wore to a destination wedding. Dress fit perfectly. Received a ton of compliments.

This dress was fun to wear and the beaded collar meant I didn't have to worry about a necklace. The customer service assistance I got from RTR was spectacular.

Loved this dress. Compliments all night at an event where there were lots of notable dresses. I'm 5'5" & wore 1½" heels. It was a bit long but I was able to "hem" the front with some fashion tape & it worked great. Only negative was the lining--it was tight. Like super tight. I don't understand this b/c I tried on this dress at the G-town RTR store & it fit perfectly--nothing was even slightly snug. When the same size dress arrived in Newport a week later the lining was tight. And my weight that morning was actually ½ lb less. I don't think I was the first person to have that experience b/c the lining was torn about 2 inches along the back seam. And the 1st time I sat down I finished it off. I don't understand why a designer would make a flowing forgiving dress & then put a pencil skirt liner inside of it. Anyway once the lining was no longer an issue the dress was fantastic. I feel badly about it but I guess that's what the insurance is for. But I've learned my lesson--get a backup size even for a dress you've tried on.

I rented three dress and two were not true to size. The lining in the coral gown was torn in two places. My daughter worn the red dress and I wore the coral gown and we were both extremely happy with both the dress and gown. Moreover the hand bags were fabulous .We both got so many compliments all night. Would definitely rent again.

This wasn't my initial rental choice, but turned out to be an even better back up! My original rental didn't fit, and RTR said I could come into their store and exchange it for a new look. Talk about a blessing in disguise - this dress was a HIT! It was a little tight (an 8 would've fit better, but the RTR locations don't have a too many sizes to choose from other than what's on their racks typically), but I managed to squeeze into it! Endless compliments all night. It was a little long - a regular would have likely worked fine even at 5'8" (but again - couldn't be picky at the store). If you want to be noticed - this is the dress for you!

Fit was very flowy and comfortable (no need for spanx under this one!) Slit in front was just to my knee, which was perfect.

The size 14 was wrinkled beyond repair and the necklace only had one row of beads. The size 16 fit like a glove. All the other reviews regarding the lining was correct, it bunches as you sit in it. When it arrived the lining appeared to be permanently bunched up but with an iron and spray starch easily solved problem. All in all this dress was a stunner. I received countless compliments on how flattering it fit me and how stunning I looked. Even though I wanted to cry with the way the dresses arrived I truly saw the beauty of this garment and was committed to making it work. I loved this dress.

Inner layer is a little tight and stops at your thigh so comes up a little.

Would recommend it - think Rent the Runway is a great idea!

Fit true to size. The lining is a little snug but the flowy nature of the front of the dress makes the dress move beautifully. Love the detail along the neckline and not having to worry about necklace. Overall, this dress was perfect for a Spring Fundraiser.

The color and fabric are super rich. The way this dress flows and moves - you'll feel and look like a goddess. The pewter pearl collar accent is stunning and such an unexpected contrast with the bright coral. Super flattering and insanely comfortable. I'm a curvy size 10 with 34 DD. Somany evening gowns make me feel like I'm spilling out all over the damn place. Not this one. And the cut - just a peek of leg as you move. Elegant and sexy. Wore it to a very formal affair and seriously, it was the most gorgeous dress there. In a sea of black, you'll do more than stand out. You'll glow. Can you tell that I LOVE this dress?

More formal than I thought from the picture and heavier than expected but GORGEOUS and very flattering

Great fit, relatively true to size. However, there is an underlayer that is MUCH tighter than the dress. I'm typically a 2-4; I had the 4R and felt that, if I wanted to dance, I would've ripped that layer underneath. That was the only reason I didn't wear it - wanted to make sure I didn't damage it. Otherwise, amazing dress.

Lovely dress but the size 4 (which I had tried in the store less than a month prior and had seemed fine) did not fit me... so I did not wear it :( The slip was the problem-- very tight and restricting. I would not have been able to sit down. Beautiful dress though-- I may try it another time but in a size 6.

I was looking forward to this dress and was so disappointed when neither size fit properly. The issue is the lining. In the size 4L the dress fit ok, a little big, but the lining that goes halfway down the thigh is super tight. I thought maybe it was defective. There was no stretch to it, so it showed through the dress where it cut into my thighs. looked like stuffed sausage legs - not a look I was going for. In my backup size, the 6L, the lining was fine, but the rest of the dress was huge. My only RTR miss thus far. 2 stars for the gorgeous color and design. why ruin with an ill-sized lining that isn't even necessary?

Wore it to a black tie event - it was a hit. Got tons of compliments. The dress fits so nicely and it's perfect for tall gals like myself. It needs to be wore with a strapless bra.

As other reviewers has stated, the slip underneath is a bit tight; it didn't bother be in the least, but it might if you have larger hips (for reference, I wore a size 8R and usually wear size 27 pants). The color is definitely a darker and richer coral than in the website photo which was a relief for me. The 8R was a tad big on me around the waist, but I needed the bigger size for my chest area.

The fit was great, I had no issues at all, length was perfect, easy to dance in and move in. Loved the color!

This is a lovely dress that was just slightly too tight in the bust for me (36E) so I didn't wear it. I would consider sizing up for another event, but then worry I'd lose the fit in the rest of the dress.

The color is gorgeous and the fit is perfect. The dress just skims your body and the cowl in front is very flattering. The only thing I didn't love was the beads used around the neck. I felt they could have used something a little more quality.

This is such a lovely dress, but it does have an odd fit. I sized up per the recommendations, and the underliner is small. The problem is that it is also very long. The size I got fit well underneath but was very large on the outside, and it just looked frumpy. Didn't wear it. Otherwise, it's a beautiful dress.

I needed a dress for a last minute office "Black-Tie" event. This dress was my first choice. Second choice was a blackless, navy Badgley Miscka. The dress fit perfect in the bust area, little big in the waist hips but did not look that way because of the cut. Also, a tad long but in any formal dress you need to mindful when walking. Dress worked. Will use Rent the Runway again. Also, received many compliments :-)

The color was a little too vibrant for me. It felt too "young" for me.
