Love the pockets. Folds of the skirt are very flattering. Ended up wearing the 2 instead of the 4 since I'm smaller on top.

i waver between a size 2 or 4 for dresses and ultimately decided to wear the size 4. it was perfect. there was wiggle room to hit the dance floor and the colors of the dress was luscious and vibrant. it definitely stuck out in photos and i received a lot of compliments throughout the night. i wore this to a wedding and the pockets were key. it could hold my phone, keys and the wedding rings. overall i thought this was a fun flirty dress, particularly paired with a bright pink lipstick and black strappy heels. i will definitely rent this again.

This dress has a great fitted waist, and room to comfortably dance in. I really enjoyed wearing such a beautiful, comfortable dress to my cousin's wedding. A+! The wedding was a spring-time, day-to-night, cocktail-attire wedding. Whew. I wanted to hit all of those notes, and I think this dress did the trick.

I loved the way the dress looked on my petite frame. I read on the reviews that the dress run large, so I ordered size 6 and 8. I normally wear 8 or 10, depending on the designer. Size 8 was the perfect size for me. I was glad that I have a small chest, otherwise it would have been too constricting on the top. The wedding was almost a week ago and I am still getting compliments on the dress. The dress was delivered to the hotel on time and ready to be worn. I thank you, Rent The Runway, for making the process so easy. I am pleased!

The dress fit to true to size, but I would have maybe gone down a size. Unfortunately, I order a size big as my backup. I never even took the backup out of the bag. I recently had a baby so the dress was really flattering and comfortable. I didn't have to worry at all about my postpartum body.

I was a bit nervous after reading about this dress running large. I wore the smaller of the two sizes I ordered, but it was also my normal dress size and I thought this dress fit very well. The fit was perfect for my size bust up top and I felt like I had plenty of room to move. The skirt was so much fun to move around in and I had a blast dancing all night. I think this dress is perfect for taller women as its a very appropriate length overall. I never worried when bending over. Also, loved the details in the fabric at the waist. It's definitely a high quality dress and I received compliments on it all night long!

I typically wear a 2, 4, or 6 in dresses, so I rented the 2 and 4 based on other reviews. I ended up wearing the 4 because the 2 was a bit snug around my rib cage and under my arms - unfortunately, this affected the length and it was just covering my knees instead of just above my knees as I would have liked. However, I still absolutely loved the look and received many compliments throughout the night - it was just a really nice change from the typical day to evening wedding cocktail dress.

I am between 10/12 and both dresses fit, I wore the 12 for more room in the chest. The material is a heavy brocade, beautiful with bold teals and greens. The pockets are a huge plus! Great for lipstick and your phone. I paired it with a gold and crystal bib necklace, an aqua wrap and nude pumps.

Fits great, and is super comfy! Size 4 fit perfect but I have broad shoulders so was a bit tight once you zipped the back up. If you have a large bust I would def go with the larger size as well. The pockets are a great added feature. Overall A+

Well, I'm an Unlimited member, and I chose this dress for my daughter to wear on Easter. Better than going to Macy's and only seeing it on the closet floor later on never to be worn again! Posted a picture of her in the dress on Facebook, and the compliments have been pouring in for days! She loves the dress, and asked if I would get it again for her when we go on our cruise! ( maybe I'll get it for me )

I wore this to a wedding, and it was pretty comfortable. Pockets are a plus for your phone or whatever you need -- only downside was the skirt length was a bit long on me (hitting just below the knee). Overall a great dress for a spring/summer wedding.

I got a lot of compliments about how I looked and the dress itself. The dress is nice. The fabric is woven and kind of stiff (I thought it was a printed satin). I finished it off with a teal wrap, some comfortable, black heels and pearls for the occasion. The model is much taller than me! The 16 fit, but I went with the 18 as the darting is sewn in a way that leaves the extra fabric on the outside of the dress. If the dress is the least bit tight, the extra fabric becomes "flaps".

I usually wear an 8 and I got a 6 as my backup size. The 6 did fit me, but it was a little tight around the arms so I ultimately wore the 8, which was slightly looser but still looked great. The pleats in this dress are so beautiful and the picture doesn't do it justice. I received compliments all night long. The dress also has little clips for your bra, so you can wear a regular bra with it. I'm a C cup and the chest area was perfect, but if you're much larger than that you might find it too tight. I also found that the fabric near the collar of the dress was slightly frayed from people wearing necklaces. I also wore a necklace which hid it, so you'll probably want to make sure you wear one too. The pockets on this dress were also great and I could easily keep my phone in one and slip it out quickly for pictures.

I rented a size 8. I'm 5'0 should of rented a size 6 but it worked. Dress was super comfy for a April wedding in CT. My next rental will be a shorter dress

I wore this dress for an art themed gala. The fabric looks like a painting and is vibrant in color, so it was right in theme with the event. The dress runs a little large and I would have liked a slightly smaller fit, but all in all I was very happy. The dress has beautiful details such as exposed darts, beautiful pleating and a very interesting gathering of fabric where the skirt starts. The skirt is very full and puffy, especially in the back, which created a few awkward photos for me. All in all I'm glad I rented this dress and I would recommend it, but I would't likely wear it again.

Love the colors of this dress, but the super exaggerated flare made me feel a bit bigger on the bottom.

I loved wearing this dress and felt completely comfortable at a black-tie optional wedding in March. Being quite busty (34D), it was such a relief to be able to wear the dress with a comfortable racer-back bra. I planned to wear a statement necklace with the dress, but opted for large earrings so as not to detract from the classic neckline. My only complaint is the dress ran slightly large. I am normally a size 4 (and wore this dress in a size 4), but could have easily worn a 2 for a snugger fit in the bodice. I recommend sizing down for your backup.

This dress was beautiful!!! I loved the material the pockets on the dress and the colors. I have to admit that this dress runs small and if you are tall it will be short on you but not too short that it looks inappropriate. I got a size 8 because a size 10 was not available and wished I had the opportunity to have ordered a second size just in case.

Rented for a wedding, the fit is a little on the large size. I'm typically btw and 4 and 6 and the 4 fit well and was super comfortable, so would recommend sizing down. I got tons of complements on the dress and necklace I rented as well. The fabric is really beautiful and the cut very flattering, but completely comfortable at this same time. Only negative is that the dress was showing some signs of wear on shoulders, not enough that anyone would notice.

I really liked the colors of this dress. They were perfect for the fall, conservatory wedding that I went to. I did find the dress a little on the large size, but it was very comfortable to wear.

Good color for a hard to match wedding where my date was the best man. I was thankful just to find something so last minute. I'm 5'2 and the dress came to right below my knees. Fabric is stiff but not uncomfortable. Back pleats had to be taped down with fashion tape to avoid looking like my but was way bigger than it is!

This dress was true to size, did not wrinkle, and felt great all day. We were at an outdoor wedding in early August with 90 degree weather. The fabric, though thick, did not feel overly heavy. I thought it looked great with gold shoes and jewelry. I received many compliments that day. This was my first time renting from RTR and I only wished I tried this sooner. I'm already eagerly looking for a dress and accessories for a wedding that is three months away! Thank you, RTR!

The fit was amazing. I wasn't really sure what my dress size would be, and ordered a 12 and a 10. (A few weeks prior to ordering I had fit into a 12 at David's Bridal). The 10 was perfect, if not a little big in the neck. The pockets were nice, but small. If you're thinking about renting this dress or another one, stop right now and pick this one. I felt amazing in it and would love to own it.

I just spent the last year attending tons of weddings and fundraisers and each time I rented a Carmen Marc Valvo dress I was never disappointed. This dress fit true to size and you could do a normal bra underneath with no issue. If you are looking to effortlessly chic and at the same time be comfy as heck, this is the dress for you!

Fit true to size. Loved the pockets so I didn't have to find a matching bag for my phone and ID! I paired it with simple black flats. I looked for a dress that I would be comfortable in, as my first RTR dress and having a large bust I wanted something with a high neckline. I ordered size 12 & 14 and the 14 fit like a glove. Overall it fit me really well and I would wear again!

This was my first experience with RTR and I was super nervous. After reading everyone's reviews I decided to order my second dress a size down, and thank goodness I did! The fabric was luxurious and the draping was lovely, not to mention the POCKETS! I received so many compliments and was comfortable all night.

I ordered both the 10 and 12 for this event, a formal wedding. Both sizes fit (the 10 was tighter and maybe *slightly* more flattering), but knowing that there was going to be a lot of dancing at this wedding, I decided to err on the side of comfort and go with the 12. I received a lot of compliments on this dress (both from other wedding guests and from complete strangers on the street). It photographs well and I felt great wearing it. Also, who doesn't love a fancy dress with pockets!

The dress ran big especially in the bust area, love the pockets and the colors were really nice. The dress had a little wear some small snags in the fabric but nothing that was terribly obvious.
