I wore this dress to the Kentucky derby and I wanted to look fancy but still feel like I could move around. This dress was exactly what I was looking for. The material felt amazing and looked vibrant and rich. The cut of the dress was flattering and the neckline was perfectly feminine. I hated returning this dress. I just wanted to wear it again!!

The dress for exactly to size. I would highly recommend belting it because it otherwise creates a shortened torso look so make sure to grab a belt! The entire night I was getting overwhelmed with complements from folks stating the dress had beautiful colors and created a retro-glam illusion. I always rent Carmen Marc Valvo, he makes excellent dresses for the conservative yet stylish as hell girl!

I rented this after trying it on in the flatiron store. Extremely flattering, thick fabric, perfect for a winter wedding. The 6 was a little big around the waist and shoulders, I might have been able to squeeze into a four. Compliments all night and a great skirt for dancing! My only complaint is that the brocade fabric is delicate -- there were loose threads and pulls all over this dress where a previous wearer had snagged a bracelet. Overall great experience though, I'd rent again

So many complements all night long! The fabric is just beautiful -- a lovely silk brocade. It seemed a little darker than the photo. I got the 16, and it fit okay -- the narrowest part is at the natural waist. It would have fit me a little better if either I was a little smaller, or if there was an 18 available. It flowed over the hips, and swung lightly as I walked or danced. I will rent this one again! Necklace is the Ben-Amun Victorian Crystal Statement Necklace and it suited the neckline really well.

I rented this dress for a holiday party at work. I wanted to look a little fancy but not sexy so this dress for the bill. I am 5'7" 150 lbs and a 36C so I usually wear a 10 in pants and a Medium in tops. I got the 8 because reviews said it runs big and the dress fit perfectly so think about getting a size down. Great coverage to be able to wear a normal bra and has big pockets, so convenient! The pattern and colors seem more understated in person than in pictures. Loved wearing this dress. #pretty #girly #classy

This was a last minute switch for a beach country club wedding in Florida in November. My original dress didn't fit well and I was in the store, so I swapped it for something in the store. While the colors were a bit darker than I would've liked (since it's fall and that's what RTR had at the store), it's definitely very beautiful and rich. The dress has pockets too which are a great plus. And if you're a curvy girl like me, I felt I wasn't showing off too much cleavage and it hid my troublesome spots pretty well. Highly recommend!

Wore this to my husband's college reunion. Halfway through the evening my daughter leaned over and said, "You're the hottest wife in the room. By far." Enough said. Dress very comfy, with bonus pockets. Fabric is heavy *and* it's lined, so not for very hot days. Zipper stuck a bit at waistband, but I have found that with every single RTR dress I've ever rented.

I'm usually a 6 or 8. Probably could've fit into a 6 but the 8 was super comfy and I didn't mind wearing it all night. The colors are amazing and I had so many compliments. I wore it to my cousins 1930s wedding (it didn't exactly fit the theme) but I still didn't feel out of place as it was perfect for a fall wedding. Photographs beautifully and made of great material. Very flattering.

It was very hard to return this dress, I wanted to keep it! I got so many compliments on this and it was perfect to conduct my high school orchestra concert. As a teacher, it the perfect cut and fit to wear. I can't wait to rent my next dress!

The 6 worked but squished the girls, so I went with an 8. The fabric on this dress is what makes it, as the cut is simply classic. I wore it to an after 7:00 wedding with satin pumps, and a "sapphire and diamond" statement necklace. Then I wore it to a music awards event 4 days later with different shoes and jewelry. The one thing that I regret is that I didn't think it photographed well. I guess the lighting would have to be perfect to show how beautiful the fabric is in person.

This dress was so much better than expected. The colors were bright to just the right degree--very sophisticated but still playful. I'm usually a size 8, maybe a 10 for the extra room up top (32G, what else can you do), but the cut of this dress allowed me to go down to a 6 and it was perfect around the ribs without showing too much cleavage. So flattering. Highly recommend!

The overall fit felt true to size, but it was a little tight and hard to move in the shoulder area. I felt beautiful in the dress and it matched the baby shower décor perfectly! Another perfect Rent the Runway experience!

Wore this to a friend's wedding. This dress is beautiful! The colors are rich and vibrant, the fit was very comfortable, and the neckline and silhouette are great for a pear or hourglass shape. I wanted something I could feel pretty in, and this was a winner for me. Received so many compliments throughout the night! The only negatives are that the zipper was a little tough, and the dress snagged easily. I would advise against wearing bangles that could pull the skirt. I would absolutely rent this dress again.

The seam connecting the top to the skirt is a little snug, but not uncomfortably so. Otherwise, the fit is perfect. It's not too low cut, and has great shoulder coverage, so you can wear a regular bra. The skirt has pockets, deep enough for a cell phone (and it's invisible in there!). It's a great dancing dress, with little risk of flashing everyone while you're having fun.

This is a beautiful dress with heavier material that still moves really well. I wore a size 4 but a 2 may have fit better. I belted it because it was a little big at the waist. It looks nice with a belt but I like the look without the belt too. The bust fit well and is modest/comfortable. I appreciated not having to worry about it being too low cut.

Nothing I would usually purchase but glad I had the chance to wear! I think this would fit better with someone who had more curves but I liked it nonetheless.

Wonderful dress for a fall wedding on a large yacht. Beautiful and fully lined. Due to So. Calif weather being in the 80's, even on the water, dress was a little on the warm side. It would be perfect for 70 or into 60 degree temps.

This dress was silky and smooth. It was not too short and the fit was true to size. Not too much cleavage either. Perfect for afternoon wedding.

The dress runs small, especially in the waist/bust area. If you have a more ample bosom, it will be very difficult to wear this dress comfortably. Not much give in the waist, so best to order a size up from what you normally wear. Otherwise, the coloring and pattern was very beautiful, especially at night.

I didn't think much of this dress when I saw it online, but it ended up looking so beautiful on. The fabric is very elegant and the shape is very flattering. I am smaller on top and the 4 ended up fitting perfectly, with a bit of room to spare in the chest. The waist fits true to size and the skirt provides plenty of room for pear shapes like me. If you are also small on top, I would probably order a size down for your free second size. Overall, it was a very lovely dress that kept me feeling comfortable and confident all night.

I tried on the 6 in the store and ordered the 4 and the 2. I could have easily gone with the 4, I just liked the snugger fit of the 2. I'm very long waisted and it didnt quite hit my natural waist, but was low enough that it didn't look strange. The V neck isnt that horribly low. I have big boobs for my rib cage and never felt indecent at all. The fabric is thick and sturdy- definitely a cold weather cocktail dress. The colors are gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. Bonus- hidden pockets!

I was looking for a dress that could be warn for a gala with a bit of flare, but still conservative, and this was perfect! At 6" tall and busty, it's hard to find dresses that aren't too short or revealing at the bust, but this dress did the job. I still felt pretty, and the color was great with my light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Really comfortable and easy to wear, and forgiving to my pear shape. Neckline showed some cleavage but kept it reasonably tasteful for schmoozing with the management. Pockets are a fun touch, but I didn't make use of them at all. The sleeves were a little funky - not quite a cap, almost like a tiny wing - but it does balance the full skirt nicely. I felt dressy enough for the occasion, and different from the long line of LBDs, without being over the top. Would rent again.

I typically wear a 6/8 in dressed but ordered an 8 and 10 in this dress because I'm quite chesty (36 DD+). The 8 fit beautifully everywhere but gave me WAY to much cleavage for a wedding. Wore the 10, which still fit nicely and was more forgiving in the chest. If you are large chested, I would highly suggest ordering a size up. The rest of the dress (waist, shoulders, etc.) seem to be true to size, but the chest wasn't made for the generously endowed. The fabric is gorgeous, the length is around the knee. Overall I felt gorgeous and comfortable.
