My backup size 6 fit as well in the waist and hips, however the neckline felt like it was trying to choke me so I stuck with the 8. Love that this gave me a nice waist and hid my thighs.

This dress was very lovely. I wore it for a birthday party dinner in Vegas. Would be very nice for an evening wedding ceremony. I am tall and the length was great, even with my heels on.

Fantastic dress! Ran slightly big but that was perfect because there was room for eating and dancing. Comfortable and way more beautiful in person than the picture.

This was my first RTR dress and I couldn't have been more pleased. The dress fit perfectly and I loved the pockets. The skirt was fully lined and the material was light (which was good because it was an outdoor ceremony in 90 degree heat). I would definitely recommend this dress to others.

I really loved this dress. It's very classy and elegant and was perfect for a spring black tie wedding. I wore it with the Elizabeth and James windrose pave cuff and the Ella Carter Aubrey earrings. It was perfect, I would definitely rent again. Another plus it has pockets! This dress does run large though so size down for your back up size.

This dress fit like a glove. I had asked for the 10 and the 12 and was so sad when the 12 wasn't available. My son was born in August and I haven't comfortably been able to wear a 10 since way before than and figured this wouldn't fit. Thankfully I tried it on because it was beautiful. It's fitted in the bust but roomy enough that my 36 DD+ chest felt just fine. It hid all of my post-baby chub and I felt like a rock star. I don't remember how many of any complements I got but it didn't matter because I felt fabulous.

Fit was true to size as far as I could tell - I am in the process of losing the baby weight though so I am not sure exactly what size I should be! The pockets were amazing and the shape was very flattering. Sorry the photo is a bit washed out. This was my first RTR experience and it was great! I received tons of compliments and the "stylist surprise" earrings were perfect!

The full skirt was perfect for a daytime luncheon. You can wear a normal bra with the top as there are hooks for straps. The dress is amazingly comfortable and has pockets!

I rented this dress for a wedding in a size 4 and 2. I'm normally one of those two sizes, and since this dress is only fitted through the bust and waist, the 2 was the better fit. It was a little large through the bust, but not noticeably so. The skirt is full without looking like a cupcake and the pockets are a lot of fun! The fabric is very thick and has a brocade feel to it. Because of the nature of this fabric and the colors, it lends itself more to a Fall/Winter wedding, in my opinion. Overall I was pleased with this rental!

Easy fit on the shoulders and waist; seemed short, but wasn't a problem.

This dress runs small. I am usually a size 16W. The 18W didn't give me enough room to breath, so I ended up getting the 20W lucky they had plus dresses in the store. Overall it was great! I was so comfortable even though it was a very different style than what I would normally wear. The pockets was cute! Everyone was calling it a tea party dress...but after the night was over the dress did its job and I looked great!

Pro: My bra straps were secure with little clasps in the dress that kept them in space. Tons of compliments! Flattering cut. Con: I was concerned with the pleats lying the right way (not enough to stop me from renting it again)

The fit was perfect, especially for my body type. Because I have a large chest (38DD), dresses where the skirt starts to fall right at the waistline are usually the styles that I go for, so this was perfect. The only area that was tight was my chest, but with that said I did not have to wear a bra and that felt pretty great. So overall, the dress was a success and I am very happy with my first RTR experience!

I personally really enjoyed the dress because of the pattern and also it was so comfortable int the entire night! In pictures, it was captured so beautifully and you can definitely tell the quality of the dress really makes it stand out. I don't think the picture on this model does this dress justice but those considering this dress will be very delighted to see it worn. It was a very classy dress and I was very happy with my choice.

Wore it to a cocktail-attire party. Was perfect for the occasion. Classy dress.. Fitted on top, lots of pouf on bottom. I loved the pockets and racer back. I recommend!

This dress was very elegant and conservative for the wedding I attended. I did find the dress ran a little large. I wore the four, but could have probably gone down to a two. The top was a little large on me, but otherwise this was a great dress! The pattern is beautiful and I received many compliments.

Full disclosure, this dress was sent to me as a backup because the dress I originally ordered was damaged. (Shout out to awesome customer service!) However, despite it not being my first choice, it was a great dress to wear as a guest to a wedding. Very comfortable. I'm usually a 16 or 14W. The 14W was a little tight on my chest but the 16W was perfect. Great movement for dancing and a good length for sitting without it riding up too high. Overall I'm very happy with this rental!

I received this as a replacement dress since a dress I ordered was unavailable. It's so comfortable, while looking very pretty. It runs a little big on top, even with my push up bra. The pattern doesn't photograph in a flattering way, so wouldn't suggest if you are wearing it for a photo shoot for a wedding or anything like that.

I usually wear a 4 or 6. I wore a 4 in this dress and it fit fairly well..somewhat tight on the arms.

Overall I really liked this dress! I ordered a 10 and 12 both fit, but I went with the 12 because it had a bit more room. The dress is very pretty and elegant, perfect for a wedding! The fabric is really nice, a bit heavy duty but comfortable. Also I enjoyed this dress because it was long enough! I am 5'11" and have a hard time with finding dresses that are long enough...this dress is the perfect balance not to short but not too long. :)

This dress was great from the front and in pics! It was also quite comfy and there was plenty of space for an hourglass shape. It paired very well with a cardigan/boots/tights. 4 stars and not 5 because of the rear view - the slight balloon of the bottom is not exceptionally flattering for a bigger rear - the pleating also causes some puffing especially after sitting. Overall tho it was a great dress and all pics were from the front and thus I am happy! :)

I rented this dress for a mid-September Chicago wedding. The b+w pattern and jacquard fabric was a good choice for our Midwestern in-between-season (the temperatures can be completely unpredictable). I have a large bust and broad shoulders; the 10 was just a tad snug but nothing pulled and I felt like I could move freely (especially on the dance floor). The cinched waist gave me some shape and the hemline hit PERFECTLY below my knees, making my muscular gams look shapely. The dress could have used an iron but the floral pattern hid this well. The dress was pretty and fun but not a knockout like some of the other dresses I’ve rented from RTR. I paired the rental with the suggested Slate and Willow Pale Pink Floret Earrings; LOVED the earrings (they could easily be paired with a hundred other dresses/outfits).

Ordered this very last minute for a black tie party and it did the job nicely!

The zipper was a tough pull, even though it wasn't tight. The skirt carries it's own shape - but not too exaggerated of a poof. Pockets are fun! Dress hit just above the knee - I am 5'5". It isn't overly sexy - but the colors, fabric and fit make it elegant and classy. I like this dress.

I think I could have tried a size 2, but the 4 fit just fine (true to size, but in some cases I can wear a 2). I wore nude hose with beige open toe platform shoes, red nails, red purse. Really loved this dress.

The fabric of this dress was heavier than expected, which worked out well for the wedding I wore it to, since the weather turned cool and rainy. The dress fit true to size, although the waistband pinched a bit at times. The feel of the dress is very feminine and classy, and the silver pattern photographed beautifully!

This was my first time using Rent the Runway. I was a bit nervous because I am busty gal, but this dress fit perfectly and I wad comfortable in it all night long.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous. I got so many compliments and felt so classy. It for like a glove except for being a little tight in the chest area. I actually wear a 32 DDD so It fit my rib cage but I had to go braless to get it to zip. It was snug but with it.

The dress did fit true-to-size, which was amazing (especially because my backup size wasn't available). I have a large bust and wider hips so sometimes these dresses' fit can be a challenge, but this one wasn't too tight in the arms, bust, OR waist. The material is thick and very comfortable (although, the underlining WAS torn when I received the dress; I hope RTR is able to fix the tear). The length was good on my frame. The pleats in the skirt are a little strange, but not unflattering. Best part? THE POCKETS.

I loved the slightly metallic tones of the flowers. Just special enough for New Years Eve out with friends. Fit was flattering on my hourglass figure. I did need to wear my alternate larger size for the top to fit comfortably (not surprising as I'm a 40DDD bust). Overall, the dress made me feel great and I'd recommend to friends.

Felt amazing the moment I put this dress on, and I hadn't even done my hair or makeup yet. I wore this to an evening indoor, spring wedding. The skirt is pleasingly full but not over the top. The structured look of the top is very classy and great for a more conservative look, if you need to keep the Grandmothers happy, but still has plenty of feminine and sexy chic. The higher neckline let me skip the necklace and stick to statement earrings- rented these too (Elizabeth Cole Bacall Earrings)! Loved it, if I have the chance, I will rent it again.

This dress was perfect for a fall, sunset wedding!! I am only 5'2 and this dress came to my knees. Definitely wouldn't recommend for someone any shorter, unless you are going for a more of a conservative look! The silhouette was very flattering and made my waist look tiny!! The armholes are a little tight, but not too terrible. Loved the pockets on this dress.

I was so happy with my first dress! I have a large bust (DD) so the 18 was a bit snug. The 20 fit perfectly. It was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments. I love the pockets as well.

Had the wear the backup size (10) because the size 12 I was supposed to receive came back damaged from the previous patron and RTR sent a different size 12 dress instead. The dress was a little bit worn (the lining was showing beneath the hem of the dress), but I liked the style of this one better than the replacement, so I dealt with the snugness under the arms and at the waist. Totally worth it! Received many compliments and felt and looked great!
