This dress seems to run a little large as I wore the size 6 and still had plenty of room. I ordered it with a belt and I am thankful I did however I wish I would have ordered a thicker belt. It was very comfortable and exactly the look I was going for.

I wore this dress as my wedding reception dress and it was so perfectly suited to the occasion - and to my figure - that I very much wished that I could keep it! After wearing my beautiful, floor-length gown most of the evening, it was such a delight to slip into this beautifully constructed sheath with its full skirt that was perfect for dancing. Though simple in shape, this dress still hugged my curves and showed my shape. You can wear a standard bra with this dress. I recommend it very highly!

This dress was absolutely perfect for my rehearsal dinner, it fit like a glove. The zipper was a little sticky, but the fabric was just gorgeous and felt so expensive. It can be a little lack-luster from the on-set because it's all white, but that's nothing a chunky Kate Spade necklace couldn't fix. And the pleats in the back made it so fun and flirty!

This lady-like Carmen Marc Valvo fit and flare dress was perfect for Easter Sunday activities, going from church to party. Its modest style boasts a high neckline and a lower hem (just at knee length) but was attractively fitted thru the bodice. It did wrinkle somewhat both in travel and while wearing but not enough to spoil the look. In size, i normally choose a 4 first but it was the 2 that fit best in this case.

I wore this for my wedding and reception. The dress fit beautifully! I'm short, so you can see that it was longer on me than on the model. I didn't realize the fabric was embellished, which was a lovely surprise. It's fully lined and not at all see-through. Big bonus: you can wear a regular bra with it, and even at a size 4R, it zipped perfectly for my larger bust size. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the body odor that was not adequately cleaned out of the dress. As soon as I took it out of the bag, I could smell it. Future renters: rent early and take it in for another cleaning (this is true for other dresses -- I rented several and they all had an odor). Otherwise, I was very happy and nearly everyone used the word "classy" to describe the dress.

Nice dress. Not a real wow factor, so be sure to think about accessories. However, I did get a few compliments. Fit was a little large, but flattering to all figures. Unexpected surprise was the textured fabric which was nice and different. Couldn't tell that from the online pic.

I wish it had a lil bit of stretch for my bust but otherwise it was a hit and perfect for the occasion.

It ran a bit big, and wasn't as flattering as I'd hoped. I am 5'6 and it hit about mid-calf, which was a little longer than expected. Its very thick, rich feeling fabric, and had a pattern on it too which made it interesting. Most the night I wore with a jean jacket which was nice. It would have been a bit plain on its own

The fit was great on top, I am a size 34 DD and it was a little snug, but very comfortable and zipped fine! The waist was a little bigger on me, but not noticeable!

You can tell the fabric on this dress is top notch and the fit is great also. I love the way it fans out at the bottom. I wore this dress for the wine tasting portion of my bachelorette party and it waas perfect for this occasion. I loved the way it fit so much I am thinking of renting it again for my bridal shower! I would say it runs a bit large. While I'm generally a 4, the 4 was much too big. The 2 was a bit snug in the rib cage, but overall fit very well.

This was the perfect dress for my wedding rehearsal. I normally wear a size 8, which unfortunately became unavailable at the last minute. The size 6 fit perfectly - it was comfortable yet still formal enough for a nice event.

This def fits a bit large, I used the 4 even though I'm normally a 6, I wore it for my wedding shower and it was perfect. I'm 5'7'' and I think anyone shorter may look even shorter, so def plan on wearing high heels

I wore this dress to the Oaks races. It was super comfortable. It was a little longer on me since I am short but it was still great for the day. The weather was a little chilly on that day and the thicker material was perfect. I am a 34DD which is why I had to size up. Great Spring time dress.

This dress runs a tiny bit large but is really cute on. I chose the navy and white over this one because this one had a dropped waste.

The fit was fantastic. I wore it for a professional society event and it was very appropriate. The detail in the fabric is beautiful, and can't be fully appreciated on the picture. Highly recommend.

The dress was great, keep in mind that the fabric has very little give. If you're a Iittle on the bustier side, size up.

I didn't wear this dress because I ended up going with another from RTR for my bridal shower. I rented a 6 and 8 the 6 was big so I didn't end up choosing this one but would like to rent again in a small size

I needed a dress that could conceal my post-baby problem areas and this did the trick. Since I'm nursing and the pleating at the hip adds a little volume- I looked more curvaceous than usual and needed a 6 instead of my normal 2/4. Overall I loved this, and felt very cute in it. I would recommend wearing a fun statement shoe since the dress is on the simpler side.

It was perfect for my bridal shower :) It was conservative but cute... just wish I would have gone with a smaller size.

I didn't wear this dress, but if I had it would've worked out fine. It's very plain looking, it has a "textured" design to the white material. I did try it on and the 8 would have worked out fine. The only reason I didn't wear it was that I liked my first choice better for my afternoon luncheon.

I rented this dress to wear to my wedding shower, and I couldn't wear the dress because I was so HUGE. I had to run out and buy another dress the morning of the shower. I normally wear a 0 or 2, and I felt like a zero must have been mislabeled because the waist hit me at the hips, and there was at least 5 inches of extra fabric around my waist, and it hung below my knees. But then the back-up size (2) fit very similarly. I was so disappointed

I ordered the size 6 of this dress and wished I ordered the 4! If you have a smaller waist, go a size smaller! Such a flattering dress

I'm busty (36D) and it fit perfectly. Size 8 has always been the right fit and Carmen Max hasn't gone crazy with their sizing, which I appreciate. The fit/flare cut is cute and flattering. Downside? The fabric looks crumpled, that's just the fabric. So you won't get a "crisp" look.

The dress fits great and is very flattering. The tonal print on the white gives the dress an added depth instead of just white. Easy to wear. I even got a compliment from my 24 year old son. Thanks RTR!

While this looked great on, and was perfect for the bridal luncheon that skewed slightly more conservative in dress, there are a few things to note: -The armholes are cut slightly higher than I would like, so if your arms aren't in top shape relative to your size, you're going to feel it, especially if you're wearing this all day. If I had gone a size up, it would have been too large at the chest/waist. -Due to the (very pretty) fabric, there is absolutely no give anywhere above the flared waist. -I wouldn't recommend this to shorter girls. I'm 5'9" and slim, so the very A-line skirt and longer hemline worked on me, but would probably dwarf someone below 5'5". That said, the dress has a beautiful, subtle fabric that looks expensive, but is still suitable for daytime. With the above caveats in mind, it would be great for any daytime wedding related activity (or birthday brunch, or graduation, etc.)

I own this dress in a different material, so I knew it would fit and wanted to wear it for my low-key wedding. The fit didn't disappoint, but the white was perhaps too summery, (worn mid-sept) or the patter/material tired, or not right for my skin tone...it just didn't look as I wanted.

I'm almost 5'11, and while the length on this dress was OK, the place where the waist hit was not. There was a line basically over the biggest part of my body (smack dab over my bellybutton), so I wouldn't recommend this if you're taller / not super skinny (I am a 12/14).

This may have been my mistake - I usually wear a 6 - but I don't like my clothes to be skin tight, so I went up a size. This is a woven dress that needs to fit nicely and it just hung like a burlap bag. I found myself wanting clothespins for the back like they use in bridal shops. I just couldn't salvage it. Plus, I felt like I couldn't be taken seriously in a look this swing - y. (probably my issue, though)
