I typically wear a 2-4, but this size 0 fit perfectly. I'm 5'2" and it hit bottom of knee. I thought dress was nice, nothing spectacular. I wore to my husband's work awards ceremony, a huge event with 500+ attendees. I swear, half of them came over to tell me how fabulous the dress was.

I wore this dress to a charity gala and it was great. Very comfortable. Runs large. I ordered a 12 and the 10 as a back up and ended up wearing the 10 but probably could have worn an 8. I also rented the Nicole Miller Teardrop Pearl Earrings and they matched very nicely. Will be using RTR in the future!

I got so many compliments on this dress. One person even told me it was her favorite dress at the event! It was a little long, hit me right at my knees, but with the right heels, it was great. Very comfortable and easy to dance in! A little more silver in person than in the picture but still loved it!

I am 5'2" and 125 lbs. the 2 fit great but was a little longer than I wanted. I felt a tiny bit like the mother of the bride. I'm 45 but felt like this dress made me look a little older. My friends and husband disagreed and thought I looked great. Had a fun night and would definitely rent the runway again!

I'm a dress size 4/6 and the 2 fit me perfectly! I would say that it runs a bit large . The great thing about this dress is that there are pockets! As a person who sniffles a lot(especially at weddings), having tissues handy is a plus. I couldn't ask for a better dress. The material is rich and thick, but not heavy. Can work for different seasons and you can wear just about any undergarment you can think of without a problem.

Rented this for a summer wedding in the Hamptons. I rented the 8 and 10 but could easily have worn the 6. It is a beautiful dress -- well made, lightweight pockets (!), and beautiful fabric. One woman at the wedding told me she had seen the fabric at a design center and asked if I had the dress made for me. Other reviews said you need a racer-back bra because the shoulders are slightly inset; however, the dress has lingerie straps so no worries there. Paired with gold shoes and gold jewelry but you could easily wear silver as the fabric is a silver and gold brocade. Dress looked just as fresh at the end of the evening as the beginning. I would definitely rent again. Photo is of two of us RTR-savvy women who know the best way to dress for any occassion is RTR! [I am the older blonde; the younger brunette was much cuter and a better advertisement for RTR!]

I am an event planner and wore this to my annual black tie in DC. You can't imagine how happy I was when I discovered the dress has pockets! I was able to carry my phone, charger, lipstick and event cheat sheet and didn't have to bother with a handbag. There is a lot of fabric in the skirt in the front. It's essentially one enormous pleat. Perfect if you want to hide your tummy (or pockets full of stuff). I was complimented all night long on how great I looked. This was my first Rent the Runway experience. I'll definitely be back!

I wore this to a black tie wedding in Newport. The dress is lovely, came in excellent condition, and worked out perfectly! It definitely runs big. I am an 8, ordered the 6 and 8, and wore the 6. I wore the earrings on the model and got a clutch from RTR as well, all worked together beautifully. I wore a sparkly gold and silver shoe. The pockets were excellent and the fabric was much lighter weight then I was expecting and moved easily, I danced all night in it.. No complaints, the process is super easy, the stylist helped me put it all together and the dress fit just like described. Great experience.

The ladies who work at Rent The Runway are incredible! They helped me so much!!!! However, the dress was a little big on me. Initially I had ordered a 6, thinking it would fit. It was very big. Rent The Runway sent me a size 4 to my hotel in Garden City free of charge! I also rented the earrings. It was a very upscaled wedding and I could so many compliments. I told everyone where I got my dress. No one could believe it. One man told me if I had to return the dress by midnight! Had a blast. I'm intending on using Rent The Runway for my birthday and every occasion forward. Thrilled with the convenience, service and styles.

I wore this dress to my bridal shower. It's a beautiful dress, and I received many compliments. I may have been overdressed, but I'll take that over the alternative. I went with the size 12. Also, I am a DDD on top, and It was a little tight, but the size up was too large everywhere else. Would rent this dress again!

The dress was more sparkly then I thought. I'm between a size 6 and 8 and received both sizes. I wore the 8 as it was most comfortable in the chest and arms. The 6 was better in the waist though. this dress does run large in the waist but for broad shoulders and a D chest I needed more room. It's a perfect length and nice for dancing.

I felt like this dress was true to size. It's really pretty in person and also light and easy to move in so I was comfortable all night. Three things bothered me: 1) the skirt had a lot of fabric so when I sat, I just felt like there was a lot going on, 2) the neckline was super high and a little irritating at times, and 3) It has those snaps for your bra but my regular bra straps STILL poked out. Overall it was the perfect pick for a black tie welcome wedding in Charleston.

I received a lot of compliments on the dress. I usaully wear a 4 or 6 depending on the make, I wish size 2 in this dress would have been available to try. Very easy process

Reserved this dress as my back-up for a fancy afternoon wedding. The color is so much nicer in person than it appears in pictures but I did not like the beading at the front of the waist. Fabric is nice and light. Also, this was longer than I was looking for. Didn't end up wearing.

I ordered this dress in size 6 with backup 8. The 6 was loose so I was able to get a 4 at the last minute and it fit great! This dress is very comfortable, glamorous and even has pockets which I loved for my lipstick! The service is wonderful at RTR! I would definitely recommend them and this dress was perfect!

I originally tried this on as a 0 and it fit, but the 2 was just more comfortable. I was concerned about the fit around my waist, but it was fine!

I usually wear a size 8, but in this dress the 8 was too baggy. The size 6 fit very well although a tiny bit snug under my arms. Loved the pockets!

Originally, I hadn't ordered this dress for my event. The dress I originally ordered wasn't returned in time to be shipped to me, so they selected this one for me instead. I had ordered a second style as a back up, but when I saw the dress I knew this was the one! The dress has a very elegant look, and fits snug if you have a larger chest (which I do). Overall, it was comfortable and light, and more beautiful in person than it looks in photos. I received compliments all night long on it. I'd definitely select this style again!

I wore this to a Mad Men/Cocktail attire wedding and received a ton of compliments! A few of the guests even asked if it was vintage. Very comfortable, full skirt (with pockets) allowed room for eating, drinking and dancing all night!

This dress fit perfectly. I usually wear a 12 but the dress does run a bit big. The 10 was perfect.

Runs small. I'm a zero and other descriptions said it ran small. Ordered 2 and 4. Size 2 was snug around arms and bust (I'm a size 34 C). Size 4 was too big in the back and waist but perfect in arms and bust. The material was comfortable and the style is classy, sophisticated and elegant. My husband said I was radiant I felt like a princess.

This was a great dress but I ended up picking a different dress for the event we were going to.

My garment bag was crammed in small overhead bins on two different flights. Arrived at my hotel, pulled out my dress and it was ready to go! This dress travels well! Needed to convert my bra to racer-back. Length was at mid knee cap, I'm 5'2. Classy length. The gold is a muted or pastel gold. What I did not notice from the photo was that the beading on the waist has black as well as gold, white and silver. Since my gold shoes seemed to clash, I decided to wear black satin shoes, black cocktail bag and black pearls w/ gold/crystal accents. This is a classy sophisticated dress. I wore it to a evening wedding. Will rent it again for a special luncheon.

This was sent to me as a replacement dress after my original order was damaged. I wore this dress to afternoon tea for my 29th birthday. It fit nicely and is comfortable. It felt a little more formal than a usual afternoon tea dress, but it was my birthday, so I didn't mind. Hits at about the knee, and you can wear a regular bra with it.

It is an absolutely gorgeous dress, perfect for a wedding. I loved the beaded center and the fabric is soooo comfortable. Pockets are a cool addition. The dress does run large as others have noted. i ordered a 4 and 6 bc I am in between usually but a 2 would have been fine. Also I am 5'2" and it would have fit better if it came in a petite size. I thought it had too much of a flare (probably bc of my hip size) so if you're looking for a fitted dress, this isn't it. Be careful wearing jewelry that might get caught on the fabric bc it will pull the thread! If you get the right size, this is a MUST to rent.
