Beautiful and very comfortable gown. The long size was still a little short on me, but that's ok because I had gorgeous shoes to show off. It was very easy to move and dance in. This was my first RTR experience and I will be back, I felt like a movie star.

Fit was great in the chest area. The only thing I wasn't expecting was how short the front was. It was a few inches shorter than in the front and it actually worked out because it was snowing I didn't have to worry about it dragging on the ground.

The perfect evening dress. Flattering cut, great shoulder detail and the prefect fabric for a smooth figure (with spanx of course). I'm 5'7" and could not have worn the standard length. Order the extra long if you are over 5'6" and plan on wearing any heel. I also used the the hollywood tape for the strapless side - danced all night without tugging at the dress once.

This dress was so beautiful. I got so many compliments on the dress. It was perfect for the Formal wedding i attended. I originally had another dress ordered but it was stuck in the northern states due to weather and wasnt going to arrive on time. RTR let me pick out another dress because they didnt have the correct size in my original dress, so i picked this one and I am so glad i did. When i called RTR on the day before my dresses were supposed to be delivered and tracking was advising it would be delivered monday,2 days after my event, RTR saved me and overnighted the dresses to me so i would have them. I LOVE RTR!! thanks a bunch!!

The dress is a little big at the bust, but nothing a safety pin couldn't handle. I ordered the 16 and 18 and the 16 fit perfectly, if a little loosely. This is a VERY figure-flattering dress; made me look much thinner than I am. I did wear it with shapewear, but could have gotten away without. Pro-Tip: Especially if you are "Plus Sized," take the time to take your measurements. Every designer's "16" is not the same as every other designer's 16.

The dress fit beautifully! It was almost a little bit too short, so I wouldn't recommend it for women taller than 5'9. But like I said, amazing fit! I did wear the size up from my normal size because I have a smaller upper body and wider hips, and my normal size fit a little snug through the hips. The dress hugged my curves in all of the right places, so I definitely recommend this dress for curvier girls! So glad that I chose RTR for this experience!

I absolutely loved this gown. This was my first time renting anything long and I was super nervous about this. I'm short (5'3) and was worried I would be tripping over myself all night. However, when the dresses came they were only ankle length which was perfect because I could truly show off my new shoes. It was a comfortable dress. I wore spanx shorts to keep my belly in check, but the color really hid any imperfections. I loved the way it accentuated my curves. I highly recommend this dress for a formal affair.

Wore this gown to a Mardi Gras ball and felt absolutely beautiful. The dress fit wonderfully and I had many compliments throughout the night. I wear a size 16 and had to go up a size for the dress but I think that may be normal for formals.

Beautiful fabric. Nice weight. Very comfortable. A little large in the bust and I have 38DDD. I had to use dress tape to get it to stay where I wanted on the non-shoulder side. shorter in front with a little bit of a train or longer in back. I felt very elegant. Though I would be intimidated or overpowered by ruffle, but did not feel that way at all. Also, was afraid I'd feel exposed with open shoulder, but was quite comfortable. I was also able to use a removal strap on my strapless bra under the ruffle so I felt more supported. I work spanx just to help smooth things out, but they may not have been necessary. Would be curious if the dress would have been more flattering or curve conscious in a smaller size. I feel like this picture does not do the dress justice and that I did not look as apple shaped as I appear here, but it was the only full shot I got the whole night!

The great RTR staff sent this to me after my original dress was lost by the shipper. It was a really simple but classy and was really comfortable to wear. I received a ton of compliments on the dress! It ran bigger than expected but with the hem tape and a little pinning I made it work. I am short (5'1") and I was surprised at the shortness of the length. It worked well for me but tall ladies should definitely go with the longer length.

The dress fit very well except for the length. It was about 4" too short. I wore black tights underneath so it was okay. Got lots of complements.

This dress wasn't my first choice, but it seemed elegant enough for a black tie wedding (it definitely was.) The mermaid cut really emphasizes the right curves. My problem is my tummy area, though, and since the dress doesn't flare away from the midsection, I felt it was hard to conceal that. The black color, the slip underneath , and the heavy, quality fabric definitely helps. This was a long, but it was WAY short on me, even barefoot. I'm 5'9, and was hopeful that it came in a long version, but it was about 7 inches off the floor with heels on. The ruffle doesn't stay fluffed like it does on the model, but the dress is very elegant and "va va voom," especially for the price! Came in great condition, looked brand spanking new. Loved the RTR experience overall and will definitely rent again!

This wasn't my first choice but my original choice was returned in poor condition so I had to go with my second choice. The dress fit really well and flattered my hourglass figure nicely, however it fell a little short. The picture on the model shows the dress going to the floor but on me it stopped at my ankles! I'm only 5'3'' so usually my problem is that long dresses are TOO long, so that was a little annoying.

The dress fit me very well, the only problem was the length it was too short, but I fixed it by wearing a long black skirt under.

I am a 'real size' 60 plus year old who felt beautiful in this off the shoulder dress. Bust size (42C) and length were good for my 5'4'' height. I don't have an hour glass figure, but dress and Spanx made me look like I did. Rent this dress ladies! The overall look and fit is amazing.

I'm 5'5" - ordered long because of the reviews but it was a little long on me with heels. I'd still rather it be long than short. Other than that, I loved it. It was comfortable and flattering and perfect for a black tie event.

The material is fabulous. It is comfortable and not binding at all. I'm 5'6" and the long was a still a tiny bit too short. You could see the entire top of my shoes. I'm also pear shaped and it did a fabulous job of hiding my tummy. There is not a single thing wrong with the dress. I would wear it all day, everywhere if I could. Grocery store, mall, CVS. You name it. It's that amazing.

This dress is fabulous! I highly recommend to curvy gals - the fit is amazing and it drapes beautifully at the bottom. I will say if you are over 5'6 order the Long - it's so important to order the long. I ordered a 16R as a backup and it was way way too short - at least 5 inches higher than the floor wearing no heels! I'm so happy I ordered the L. I will confess I ended up wearing the 18L and "making it work" because the 16R was way too short and the zipper was a little wonky. It seems too many people had tried to squeeze into the 16 and the zipper was showing the impact of that! The 18L length was wonderful, and the top was about 2 inches too big but I just made sure to adjust it throughout the night so my bra wouldn't show. It worked out great love RTR!

I wore this dress to and industry awards gala. I felt beautiful and received so many compliments with many from complete strangers. In terms of size the body fit true to size, the chest area was a little big so I used Hollywood Strips to tape the dress in place and the length was short. I had to purchase low wedges to make the regular length work, and I am only 5'5! Otherwise the dress was extremely comfortable and had beautiful, forgiving fabric!

I was happily surprised at the high quality of the material. It did not wrinkle, but keep it shape. Although this stayed in place nicely, as with any one shouldered dress, I would add a little tape if you are top heavy and wearing a strapless bra, as it began to sag by the end of the night. Be sure to order the extra length, as this was a too short to wear with heels. I did it anyway, but had to go with a lower heel.

While I'm only 5'3, I ordered the long in both the 18 and 20 because of reviews. When I pulled the 18 out, I thought it was going to be too small so I tried on the 20. I was sent the 20R and it the front of the dress hit my ankles. Surprisingly, the 18L fit perfect and was the perfect length for my heels.

I was skeptical in renting this gown because I am self conscious of my stomach. Surprisingly I felt very comfortable in it and the dress accented my curves in the right place (of course with the right underpinnings). I am 5 '7.5", wore the regular length with flats and it was perfect. Because of my stomach, I wear an 18 or 20. Size 18 wasn't available so I had to rent the 20 which was large on top (I am a 42C). For the right fit if I could, I would have needed to take in 2" on shoulder somehow to raise the top. But Hollywood tape helped. The black strap in the picture was my black purse. Overall this was a great experience and have told women about Rent the Runway (even the FedEx delivery woman who delivered the dress).

I technically wear a 16 waist, and 18 mostly because I have a (38G) chest. The 18 did not come in with the order like scheduled, so I went with the 20WL. I'm SUPER glad I read the reviews and got the long. I stand about 5'9" and wore barely a 1-2" heel and it did NOT touch the ground. (I cannot imagine where a regular length falls.) It was loose, to be imagined, and I actually had to pin the top of the dress to my strapless bra because it was loose and saggy, but I'm telling you, it was comfortable, classy and super fun. I could move and dance and sit and chat. Never worried about anything. You can dress it up with drop earrings and heels, or dress it down with flats and more casual jewels. I would definitely recommend ordering true to size. It was one of my favorite rentals to date and I could only imagine my expectations if they actually had my size. :)

Make sure to order the Long - I'm 5'6" and the long was perfect with a 3" heel. I'm so glad I read the other reviews. This dress is so comfortable and was lovely to wear. You'll need Spanx to smooth out lines because it is a fit to flare cut but with the stretch and color, it is a dream!

The dress ran a little big around the waist.

I would probably recommend getting your size and 1 size larger. I ordered 1 size larger and it fit PERFECTLY! The dress was extremely comfortable and hung beautifully. Very classy! I wore 3 inch heals and the long length was perfect. I am 5'8". HIGHLY recommend!

Ran a little bigger on top, but didn't droop or sag. I worried when I pulled the dress out that it would be too long, I tried it on and it was PERFECT right to the shoes. I wore it to a formal work Christmas party and a week later I'm still getting compliments! It was a TOTAL SUCCESS! I've shared the website so many times as a result.

The 16W was loose all around. This was sent as a back-up dress. It's really gorgeous but I could have used a size down.

I wore this dress for my sorority formal and it fit amazing! At first I thought it was a little too short. And considering I'm only 5'3 it might be too short for anyone else taller. But it's a tad longer in the back than in the front and as the night went on I was very thankful it wasn't any longer or I would've been tripping all over it. Plus it showed off my heels a little.

I rented this for my sister for her prom, and she loved it! The fabric is thick so it sucks everything in, but she still wore spanks underneath to make sure everything stayed in place. The dress made her look slender and hugged all of the right places. Although it looked very nice, I can't imagine anyone paying full retail price for this gown! In person the fabric looked cheap but in photos it looks stunning. She is 5'10" ~ 5'11" wore size 18L with 2.5 inch heels and it was barely off the ground.

The fit of the dress was perfect. It hugs every curve the right way. Unfortunately it was way too short. At 5'6 you could see my ankles. (Not a cute look) loved the dress, not the length.

The dress is short in the front and has a tail (long) in the back. I am 5'5" and the dress was too short without shoes and looked even more ridiculous with heels. Unfortunately I could not wear it. The dress material was elegant. I think having wide hips (normally size 16) it wasn't flattering. I think the dress would look much better on someone thinner.

I rented this as my back up dress in a size 16WR and 18WR. I'm considered plus size because I'm a size 16, but mainly because my chest is a 36HH. This dress is NOT meant for us ladies with boobs. Nor is it meant for anyone without proper sized hips. My chest would have fallen out of this had I tried to wear it, and it was a couple inches too big in the hips. The length would have been too short had I worn my 4 inch heels as well, I'm 5'9. Overall this dress was very pretty, but kind of boring in my book (I didn't want black), and not the right size. But, the fabric was great, and would have held up nicely to a night of dancing.

I am 5' 4" and ordered the Regular length but it was too short and hit at my ankles. I ordered the 16WL and it was perfect with heels. This dress was very classic and looked great at the Jr. League Black Tie Gala Ball.

I loved this dress, but would recommend sizing up 2-3 sizes. I wear a 14W in regular clothes and dresses, and had to size all the way up to a 20W. The look overall was fantastic, and I got a lot of compliments.
