The dress fit perfect!! Was very comfotable and the length was perfect, didnt need a very high heel. The dress is so flattering for my body type, felt like a movie star in this dress!!!

Fit was perfect! A tad long in the back I had to pick it up a few times but wasn't a problem to do so! I received so many compliments! Spanx were not needed...and it was absolutely glamorous for my work Christmas ball!

I ordered this dress as a back up to another and I was glad the original worked. Although this dress is lovely, it definitely looks better on someone slimmer. I thought that all the ruching would help to "hide" flaws but I felt that there was too much of it thus causing an emphasis on the tummy area. Also, the sequins were very itchy under my arms even when I was trying it on so I couldn't imagine wearing it for an entire evening of dancing although if you are someone who doesn't have "extra padding" under your arms like I do, you might be fine! Now if I lost that 50 lbs that I have been wanting to, I might try it again...lol

I was super worried about the reviews of the sequins bothering under my arms but I was lucky not to have that problem. I did get a little disappointed about the color not being gold when I opened the package but the fit was so great that I didn't care anymore.

I ordered a size 6R and 4R. The dress is true to size and the 4 fit perfectly. Th length was perfect and looked great with silver heels. It is stunning and I highly recommend it. #bridesmaid

I've lost weight and can wear a 12 but due to my curves and bust, the 14 was needed. The pros...The rouching made my mid section look flawless, the fit curved and accentuated my body perfectly and the flow of the bottom part of the dress looked beautiful when we danced. It was very flowing. Also, many people work dark colors so my shimmery gold dress was truly unique. I wore about 2.5-3 inch heels and I'm 5'6". The cons...Any shorter heels would have gotten caught in the hem and I could feel the sequins scratching the inside of my arm but got used to it. I wore the dress 7 hours and would definitely wear it again!

This dress was extremely comfortable. I was 5 months pregnant and a bridesmaid. I received so many compliments and felt great. My only con is that sometimes the fabric would wrinkle because the mini sequins would get caught on each other, but it was minor nuisance.

I wear a 10 but that wasn't available so I got the 8L. It was snug but fit. The reviews said to go a size smaller but I think a 10 would have been perfect. I went with the long as some of the reviews said the regular was short with heals. I wore 5 inch heals and it was perfect.

Im usually either a 6 or 8 but got a 4 and 6 since the reviews said it runs big. I couldn't zip the 4 but the 6 was snug and perfect. I'm very short and the 6R was just the right length for 3.5" heels. Sequins under the arms are irritating, but no other real cons. Great dress for my anniversary!

There was a little play room so it was super comfortable to wear ALL night long. If I got the 2L, it wasn't available, it wouldn't been a bit tighter and probably fit right on point but this was perfect. A ton of compliments. This is a great dress and I got a ton of compliments. I wore the 2 long, and it was a little short in the front with flats on, but it still looked great (it's slightly longer in the back). It's more of a champagne than the gold that it appears on the website. The sequins did scratch near my armpits, but I got over it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dress.

Fit was perfect although the 2R was a little short, even for my 5'3" frame. With heels, I opted for the 2L and I was glad I did. The dress is covered in sequins so it can be a little itchy under the arms but overall s really comfortable dress. I got so many compliments!!

This was my first experience with Rent the Runway. I did not want to buy another dress which would just sit in the closet. All the choices were overwhelming and I had saved about 20 favorites. Out of those 20, my husband picked this dress. I received so many complements and the dress felt great on. I planned to order an 8, but I waited too long to place my order. So, I went with the 10R (they were out of 8R, 8L and 10L). But, it fit great. My only complaint At 5'4" - this dress was too short for me in a Regular. I prefer the length of a formal dress to be right at the floor. So, I did have to wear flats, but I am not complaining. The night was great and the dress was awesome. Looking forward to ordering again.

My only con on the dress would be that the sequins rub under your arm throughout the night, but nothing too irritating. The dress runs short so I recommend getting a long if you're someone who likes to wear high shoes. I'm 5'3 and wore 4 inch heals with the 2L and it was perfect.

My first experience with RTR. I ordered 2 dresses. My biggest concern was that the dress was going to look and smell worn. They did not. The dresses were very nice. I ordered a blue sequins Nicole Miller and this beige Carmen Marc Valvo. This was my second choice but it looked awesome and fit the theme of the 1920's. I wear a 6 and have an hour glass figure. It fit perfect. It was very comfortable, I did not find the sequins scratchy under or around the arm as others have said. I am 5'4 and the length with heels was perfect enough not to trip over the dress or have to hold it up when walking. Another plus was that I didn't have to wear spanx with this dress.

I rented this dress for our cocktail reception wedding and it was perfect! The size 8 was returned damaged, but the rtr team had great customer service, and thankfully the size 6 fit like a glove. I'm usually a size 6-8 in regular dresses but this dress in a size 6 was perfect! I love that you can wear a regular bra and there was no need for spanx since the ruching/sweeping pleats was very forgiving in the problem areas. I'm 5'3" and I wore nude kitten heals which worked out well length wise and were very comfortable. Overall an amazing dress and I would definitely rent it again!

I had a hard time deciding what to wear for my event. At 36 I was the oldest model in a runway show showcasing a new jewelry line. We needed something formal for the after party. I am SO HAPPY with the dress, earrings and bag I rented from Rent the Runway. Their customer service was amazing. This dress fit pretty true to size. I ordered a 12L as my backup size and couldn't zip it shut. :S The 14L was perfect for my height and was just long enough with my heels (probably about 3in or so?) Never stepped on the dress. The lace and sequins did stick together at times, but I didn't care. In a sea of black mini dresses- this dress stood out. I only wish I could have worn it longer! I will certainly be ordering again. Also - in the picture I rented the Nicole Miller Teardrop Pearl earrings and the Lauren Merkin Diana Snake Clutch. The clutch was a bit "gold" for my tastes but it all went together perfectly!!!

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding & soooo comfortable. It is true to size (6R) and the length was perfect. There is a bit of stretch to the fabric & the ruching is very forgiving. This was my first experience with RTR and it won't be my last...my only complaint is that I had to return this beautiful dress!

The dress ran a little short. I'm 5'5 and wore a regular. I ended up being barefoot for most of our engagement session because it was too short. And the sequins were really itchy along the armpit part. But other than that, wonderful.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding and absolutely loved it. I did notice some irritation in the under arm area like most women mentioned but it did not bother me too much. I am usually a size 6 and found the 8 to fit perfectly. It is a very flattering dress and I would definitely wear it again!!

I am 5'4", 120-122 pounds, and wear a 32DD bra size. I find it hard to find clothes that look nice but also aren't too revealing and can cover a full-support bra. But this dress did everything and then some. I ordered a 6R and a 4R. I ended up wearing the 4R, although both fit. The 6R looked like it had been worn many more times than the 4R, so I'm not sure if that's why it didn't look quite as nice on or if it was the size difference. Either way, I was very comfortable as the material has quite a bit of "give" to it, so it was easy to sit, move around, dance, and eat (even in the size 4!). I had expected the beads under the arms to rub much more so than they did, or maybe because I expected it I wasn't surprised. It may have been the tighter fit of the 4 that helped this, as it didn't really rub much at all when I had to situated right. That part didn't bother me at all, but I was aware of it. I wore a 2.5" heel, dark brown strappy pair of shoes with some sparkly things on the top. They looked great with the dress -- don't know if you can see them in the photo. I LOVED this dress and was blown away with RTR. This was my first rental and I will most definitely be a return customer.

The rouching was very strategically placed! The fishtail bottom was perfect! However, I'm 5'7.5" and the 2L and 4L were both not long enough. The pictures show the dress WITHOUT heels. I had to rush to look for very short heels to wear. This dress would be great for someone 5'5" to 5'6" if you don't want to wear flats...

This dress looks completely different on the hanger vs on!! Don't set it aside until you try it on! It is so classy & beautiful!! The sequins around the arm area ARE scratchy, but I knew that based on other reviews.. Still totally worth renting! I am an E cup (thanks to being a nursing mamma :-) but a 25-26" waist so I was worried on if it would zip at the bust or not & if I would be able to wear a regular bra with it (which I could-yeah!) While I could have worn a 4 in every area BUT the chest, the 6 fit perfect & gave me a little extra room in the tummy. I was really worried at first renting w/o trying on, but it worked out amazingly!! I opted to not wear a necklace as the picture shows,and instead paired it with some really pretty gold & diamond rhinestone long earrings, a couple gold & diamond rhinestone bracelets & a gold clutch with diamond rhinestones accents all from Charming Charlie's! I got soooo many compliments & felt like a princess! I would most definitely rent again !! Thanks RTR!

Fit like a glove! The dress is very stretchy where it hits the hips / thighs. The bust has no stretch though, and a zipper up the side. For size comparison -- exactly the same fit as a size 4 with BCBG. The dress looks short in my photos, but that's probably because I'm 5'11" and felt the need to wear 4" heels... my bad... lol! Definitely recommend this dress, it looks amazing when light catches the sequins.

This dress looked absolutely perfect on one of my bridesmaids. The only issue she had was the material rubbed her skin raw around the arms. She looked beautiful and got compliments all night long. Perfect bridesmaid dress.

This dress was a very flattering fit for a curvy body! My mother wore this gown and turned many heads at the wedding! For women with hips like ours finding dresses that fit are a hassle but this dress is perfect!!! Would recommend a million times over!!

I used the reviews from other women who were my age and body type and was very pleased with how sexy and glamorous I felt in this gown. I wasn't exactly sure what color sandals to wear and had purchased two different colors (from Payless!) and thought the silver 3-inch heel worked well. I think I would have been alright with the regular length dress instead of the long and gone with a lower heel. The dress is "forgiving" of a tummy-pooch, but still accents all of your curves. I was very impressed with the service from Rent the Runway and will certainly do business with them in the future!

It fits like a gloveee. Honestly, pulling the dress out of the bag..it doesn't look as flashy as the pictures. But when light hits it, the shine and sparkle is never ending. I will make you look and FEEL like a million bucks.

The positive response I got from how I looked in this dress was overwhelming, both the night of the event and from pictures afterward. I loved it the moment I opened the box and glad everyone else loved it on me! This was my first RTR experience and I cannot express in words how positive it was! Only con, and I hate to say it, but, the sequins rubbed around my shoulder...totally with the discomfort, though!

This is a beautiful sequined lace dress. The fit was perfect, although I could have squeezed into the 10. The length was perfect for me and it enhanced my shape. I wore gold sandals and rented the Kate Spade necklace which was amazing with the dress. I wore large stud "diamond" earrings and a gold and rhinestone bracelet. The dress was exceptionally comfortable and flattering and I was happy with the wonderful compliments I received. I would defintely rent this dress again.

The only thing I will say is the material is alittle scratchy around the arm area. It's the sequence that poke out. Also, the bottom sometimes folded over and would catch as you walk, but all and all I was given so many compliments. I felt confident and sexy! I will def use renttherunway again!

This dress was very easy to wear and true to size! It hugged in all of the right places and the rouching throughout the mid section made me feel comfortable. I loved everything about it. The lace and sequin fabric was beautiful.
