The dress was true to size so it fit perfectly! I was concerned about the top being small due to other reviews on this dress (I am a 32DD) however it was not small by any means. I wore a strapless bra under the dress and it still fit nicely. I received many compliments throughout the night and would definitely rent this dress again. Overall, I was very happy with my first Rent the Runway purchase, can't wait to do it again.

This dress is so pretty in person - the peplum makes the dress very flattering. It has great structure for a bustier lady and was fun to wear. Loved it!

I wore this dress to an outdoor/indoor October wedding. Wore with grey shoes, a grey/purple pashmina, and rtr earrings. Pros: The dress had great sturdy fabric and a very pretty pattern. The colors were rich. I thought the cut of the dress was flattering; I loved the one sided peplum! Cons: The dress did run a little small in the hips. I went with the larger size and felt the dress was still a little constricting (no give in the fabric). I could see why some others have worn a belt to cinch on their waist; there seemed to be a little extra fabric in that area due to sizing up for my hips.

I am pregnant so I was a little worried about the fit but after reading other reviews I felt very confident that the fit would be fine. I measured myself right before order the dress since I have been growing. I got the 12 and 14, with the baby bump I ended up wearing the 14. The dress was loose in the waist and the bust but for me it was more important that the dress fit my baby bump and hips. This dress is actually really cute with a baby bump and was very flattering.

This dress was perfect for a formal family wedding. It was a little snug in the chest, but a long as you're a D or below, it shouldn't be a problem. The dress also had enough room in the legs and hips that I could run, dance, and bend down with my toddler - a rare find in formal attire.

This dress fit perfectly and was easy to wear. The only issue that I had was that the hanger straps were very annoying (there are three of them). I had initially just tucked them, but after having three people adjust them for me while at the church, I opted to get some safety pins to secure them. After that, the dress was set and I could wear it confidently. I felt great in it and received a lot of compliments.

I rented this for a trip to NYC. Perfect for vacation as almost any color shoes will work because the color is neutral enough. You could use vibrant colors (red) or (neutral or black) shoes. Very comfortable and the style is "forgiving" as it can hide a tummy or thick thighs. Loved this dress. BTW, I have not rented a lot of outfits but this was the third time I was the one to remove the brand new tags. Obiously these dresses are not over used.

Absolutely loved this dress. The fit was perfect. Very classy. I brightened it up just a little to add my own style but all in all I loved it and will most definitely rent dresses for upcoming occasions.

I loved this dress! It fit perfectly except for the bust--it was a little tight (I'm a 36C) but other than that it was exactly what I wanted and the look I was going for. I got so many compliments on it the entire night. I felt elegant and confident wearing it. Truly a RTR gem! I am 5'4 and it hit me right at the knee if not a little below which was exactly what I wanted for the occasion.

I loved this style! It's a great dress for many seasons. You can easily wear with tights and boots, like I did, or you can wear with a great pump! It runs slightly small in the bust. I felt comfortable in the size 2 but may have gone up to the size 4. I didn't feel as though I needed to wear a bra with this dress but you need to wear a bra I would recommend sizing up and going with a strapless bra! Highly recommend, fantastic quality!

Dress fits true to size. Love the dress. The material was heavier than I anticipate so it wouldn't be good for a very hot or humid outdoor event. Zipper was very hard to use on or off...you'll definitely need help getting dressed.

I didn't think I was going to wear the dress. I felt tight and uncomfortable when I put it on. I guess after a while it adjusted or I did but it was ok. One issue, it doesn't have a split so it gets hard to get in and out of the car and can be uncomfortable in the thigh area. It was very flattering though.

Great dress - the pattern is beautiful and the color looked great for a sophisticated, traditional wedding. I could have sized down, but a belt easily fixed the slight bagginess. Wish I could have cut off the hanger loops, but other than that, this dress was spot on.

This dress fit true to size; material held its shape well. Looked better w/ a belt. There is a slight sheen to the brocade, so it is dressy enough for an evening wedding. Even with the one-shoulder it was modest. I didn't feel like I had to wear a shawl all night.

This dress is very well constructed and the pattern on the dress was beautiful. The only con would be that the dress doesn't have any stretch, so if you are in between sizes I would recommend sizing up.

I usually go between a 10 or 12 but the 10 was way too tight. Even the 12 was a little hard to walk in sometimes because there's no slit in the back like usual slim fit skirts/dresses. Getting in and out of a cab was a bit difficult but the fabric is beautiful and is great for anyone with curves they're uncomfortable with.

I wanted to rent this dress for my sister-in-laws wedding because I walked my son down the aisle and had to wear the wedding color, grey, but they didn't have the size I wanted in stock for a while. Fortunately, a week before the wedding, my size came back in. I was very happy with this dress. The material was thick and looked great. I loved the little peplum that covered my post baby pudge. I ended up wearing the 12 instead of my normal size, 10, because the dress has no give at all so the 10 was just a little too snug for sitting. Definitely size up for your second size. Overall I was very happy with this dress. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because I would have been more comfortable had it been just a little stretchy.

Pro: Beautiful and flattering dress. Fabric felt expensive. Easy to style. Con: I'm in-between sizes, and my back-up size (4) did not arrive. I was sent a second dress to make up for it, but the second dress was white...not a good choice for a wedding. Thankfully, the original size (2) fit. It was tight across the hips, but otherwise fine. This dress is a great fabric, but it doesn't have much give. Since mine was a bit tight already, I found that I had to take smaller steps than usual. I was very happy with the dress, but it may not be a good choice if you need to move a lot at your event.

This dress fit me well in the bust. It was tight around my hips and there was no slit in the back, so climbing stairs was a bit difficult. Overall it looked nice and fit well enough for the evening. My back up size of 10 was unavailable. This may have fit me better at the hips, but I would have been worried about the bust being too large, so the 8 worked well.

I rented this as a last minute reselection, so I could only get it in one size. I wanted it to work out, but unfortunately for curvier girls like me, when it runs true to size, it's going to fit up top but be too small in the hips. I thought I was going to bust a seam when I tried to sit down! It also had a very high armhole which made the top uncomfortable as it cut in to my underarm, but not unbearable. I only had the 6 to try, so not sure how an 8 would have fit. It was pretty material and the RTR Customer Service team did a 5 star job getting me a last-minute reselection, even if it didn't work out.

Thankful for this RTR staff pick in a pinch. I stood up in my best friend's wedding and had gained more weight than I cared to admit. I had rented another dress and neither size fit. Fortunately the wonderful team at RTR recommended this dress. The material had no give, so I was happy I ordered a size (or two) up from what I thought my dress size was. The dress turned out to be perfect for the occasion and fit in wonderfully with the other bridesmaids.

Fun dress to wear. It was unique but still on trend. Color of the dress goes best with silver accessories. The fit is a bit tight across the bust but overall true to size.

I liked wearing this dress, it's a basic sheath with some fun elements. I believe it fits very true to size. I was afraid the peplum would emphasize my hip and abdomen area, but it laid smoothly and if anything, helped hide the troubles spots. The material is very thick. My main complaint is the zipper, it was very difficult to zip on both dresses. At the time I ordered this I was between an 8 and 10, and even on the larger size with ample extra room I could barely zip it?!? This is the second CMV dress I've had this issue with. Definitely plan on having a helper to zip into this dress.
