Loved the color and pattern- it is really beautiful. The cut and length made it feel a bit more "buttoned-up" than I was hoping, which made it perfect for the office holiday party but not as fun as I was hoping for dinner with friends the next night. I normally wear a six with most designers, but I went with the 8 for this dress as the fabric is not forgiving and the straight down cut of the skirt was quite snug around my hips.

This dress was such an amazing fit and really accentuated my waist, which was perfect. The subtlety of the green pattern is absolutely gorgeous, and the cut of the dress is conservative but classy. The one (tiny) complaint that I have is that the skirt tended to feel very tight and ride up while I was seated (and I had to be seated for 3 hours), but it's a very comfortable and beautiful dress. I would totally rent it again.

The dress is very comfortable and fits well. I got tons of compliments. Only issue...make sure you can get the bottom of the pencil skirt over your hips, otherwise, the only way to use the restroom is to take the dress off completely. Luckily, I was able to, but if my hips were ANY bigger, I would have had a big challenge. I will definitely rent this again.

Wore this for a Mad Men event and it worked perfectly with my pillbox hat and pearls. This dress fit perfectly in the chest and waist. The length just covered my knees. It was slightly snug in the hips, but it worked fine. There was no give to the fabric, so the skirt rode up some when I was seated for awhile. Otherwise, the fabric was luxurious and the dress made me feel so glamorous.

The peplum hid my momma pooch and created a nice waist. It was true to size and fit just right. It was a sit down dinner with no dancing, but the skirt may have inhibited my moves if i had a chance to show them off.

This dress was great for an autism charity gala. The dress is not stretchy at all, so be careful when getting in/out of the car because the skirt doesn't give!

Everyone loved this dress at the Mad Men party we attended. I wish I got a better picture of me in it! I really didn't want to send the dress back. My only complaint is that it is very loose in the waist, but I had several belts on hand to wear with it to cinch the fabric in. I wore it with a black shrug and a thick blue BCBG belt, as well as 3 1/2 inch heels. I wish it came in a petite, as the dress hit mid-calf for me. The material is thick but sits well; it was perfect for the mid-winter party. The 12 was too snug in the thighs and hips but fit better on top--if you're only top heavy you could probably go down a size. I'm still giving it a 5-star because I wish I kept the darn thing!

This dress was absolutely perfect for my father's holiday party. It fit like a glove and I got so many compliments on it all night. The dress is very true to size and was a little tight in the hips/ butt area but not too tight. It's a great color, perfect for this time of year and could not be happier with my rental!

The dress fit really well- the length was nice- I'm 5'10 and it was an appropriate length. It fit my bust and my hips very nicely, but I'm quite curvy and so I ended up wearing a narrow belt because I didn't have much waist. I think it looked great though! I would definitely rent this again. The color was perfect for me (a natural auburn, currently black-haired woman with green eyes), and is less "showy" than you think it's going to be.

I wore this dress for an outdoor evening wedding and I must say that the dress fit the occasion perfectly. The material was great and the fit was perfect. I received SO many compliments the entire night. I highly recommend this dress!

This dress was perfect for a semi formal November wedding. The brocade fabric really helps take this dress up a notch and I loved the color (which can easily pair with a lot of different accessories). I did not notice a huge difference between the 8 and the 10 except in the hips. As I'm pretty straight through the hips I went with the 8. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fabric does not have give, so the dress has a tendency to ride up while sitting. That might be a reason to size up if your shape is curvier in the hips. As for the bust, I'm a 34F (DDD) and this dress really accommodated my bust. Because of the cut of the top, I could easily wear a bra with straps. What a great dress all around!

This dress fit me like a glove. The fabric is beautiful and the color is vibrant. The only downfall is that I have to return it. With RTR, I may never buy another formal dress again.

I wore this to accept a professional award. Most people wore suits, I wore this. Based on the model, I was a little worried the print may look matronly with those flowers. Not the case. The print looks modern. The fabric was amazing. The perfect amount of sheen to make that green really pop. But, people complimented the perfect fit all night. As long as I stood, everything was in the right spot. The bottom got tight to fit over my hips when I used the ladies room but that was literally the only negative I have. Fun surprise feature...the bra strap holders.

I wore this dress to a Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser. I received so many complements and lots of people wanted to know where I had bought it. I ordered a 12 & a 14 as I usually wear a 12 but the reviews made me think it ran small. The 12 was a little tight and I didn't want to be uncomfortable. The 14 was a tad big but looked beautiful on! Loved the length and loved the overall structure of the dress!

This dress is a beautiful emerald green! I wore it for our engagement party in December and I felt like it was the perfect dress to brighten the holidays. However, did run a little big so if you're in between sizes, order a size down.

So happy to have two size choices. The size 6 - my regular size - ran too big, so I went with the size 4 based on other reviews I read. It fit perfectly. I just wish I had remembered to take a full-length picture. And it was so easy to return the dress the next day... just found the closest UPS box and dropped it off. My daughter and I both rented dresses -- she said she felt like a princess!

Definitely a more structured dress. The 4 was a little tight in the hips but the 6 was too loose in the bust. Went with the four and wore Spanx to smooth everything out. Received so many complements on this dress at the rehearsal dinner at the Botanical Gardens. Perfect shade of green!

My mom wore this dress, first time renting. The 12 fit better in the hips but was fairly large in the chest so ended up wearing the 10 (spanx helped). The dress is a beautiful green color and loved the different take on peplum!

I am large busted (38D) and it fit perfectly. I was shocked that the peplum did not exaggerate my curves but actually created a very flirty look. Skirt is very straight so sitting could be a bit challenging for someone with hips. Also I loved the length because I am not fond of my shapeless legs, but at 5'8" it hit me at the bottom portion of my knee which was perfect. A very gorgeous dress and perfect for cool weather.

I wore this dress to two parties ... one at my country club and one at our local art center. The dress made me feel so elegant & sophisticated at both! The art center party was emerald themed, so my friends and I all got green RTR dresses. At both the country club and the art center we were turning heads all night! I wish we'd have had RTR referral cards to give out! I absolutely recommend this dress to any girl with some curves. The peplum is low-profile enough as not to add unwanted bulk around the hips, but pronounced enough to show off the trend. I'm a bit pear-shaped, so the 12 was tight around my hips, but fit perfectly around the bust. The 14 was perfect around my hips, but a bit too loose around the bust, so I went with the 12. Everyone kept saying it fit me like a glove, so maybe I'm just being paranoid about it being tight. :) Gorgeous dress. Great friends. A wonderful night. Hope everyone else who rents this dress has the same!

I am usually a 4 or 6 and ordered the 4. I have to say it was a little hard to sit in, because there is no stretch in the dress - but again I am between sizes so I think this would be great for a true size 4, etc. The print is AH-MA-ZING. So vibrant and saturated with emerald!! I wore Kate Spade's "Clean Break" necklace and the colors matched perfectly. Great styling choice by RTR. The peplum is perfect on this dress because it is only on the sides/back, not the front where it could make you look a little bigger. Very very flattering & elegant! Felt like such a sophisticated lady!

i rented this for my friend's October wedding at Harvest on Hudson in NY. Luckily she had shawls provided because I was freezing for the outdoor (very windy) ceremony. The dress was not AS form fitting as I would have liked, but you take what you can get when you have a 30'' waist and DDD chest....Overall I enjoyed wearing this dress and received a few compliments, too.

You will be thrilled with this stunning cocktail dress. The fabric is absolutely gorgeous. It has a sheen to it, making it formal enough for an evening occasion. If you generally favor the sheath style, as I do, this dress will be perfect. It is well cut and elegant. I've never worn peplum before this dress, and I did not feel at all uncomfortable. I ordered the 2 and 4, and the 2 fit perfectly. I accessorized it with druzy earrings, a gold clutch, and black satin pumps. I would definitely rent this dress again for a holiday occasion.

I was sad to let this one go! Fit like a GLOVE. Very form fitting, not a lot of give in the fabric, but true to size. Received compliments from family and strangers! Definitely needed the chunky necklace (also rented) to break up the neckline and create the perfect package. I felt so elegant in this dress. The green/black pattern was also wonderful for a fall wedding.

I love this dress! The fit is divine. I'm curvy yet this dress pulled me in, made my waist look teeny tiny and just oozed elegance. I was looking for a conservative dress for an awards dinner but I wanted something that would stand out a little. this dress did the trick! the color is rich and vibrant. The length was perfect for the event. it is definitely a stiff dress in that sitting is a little tricky if the dress is very fitted but its worth it. my favorite rental so far.

Beautiful design and color, with a shimmery quality. Long, pencil skirt fit, even on my 5'11" frame. Bustier women may have some trouble, as the top just fit me right, and I am not busty. :) I paired with RTR emerald earrings, which matched perfectly. I will rent this dress again - probably for a holiday party, because the green would be perfect.

A bit tight on the bust and a little roomy in the hips - which is usually my problem. I typically wear a 4 and wore a 2 in this dress, but it was snug on the top.

The material was very thick, and the fit was easy to move in. It fit true to size. I wore this for a night out but it would be great for any evening event. The length was perfect it was a little longer than I usually wear but with high heels it was great. You can see the earrings and clutch in 2 of the photos, I felt gold really complimented this dress perfectly.

I was drawn to the color, peplum detail and design of this dress and couldn't wait to wear it. It did not disappoint! My only (minor) complaint - it was a little hard to sit down in. (Since I also got a size 4 with my order I tried that one, but it was much bigger on me.) It was still the perfect dress choice for the party and I loved wearing it! It's very flattering and I couldn't stop staring at the bold green rose pattern!

I loved the material and the rich colors. I usually wear a size 4, got a 6 for backup, wore the 4 which was perfect. A very flattering and comfortable dress. Wore it for Christmas - very Christmas tree-like in a way. Was great not to have to pack this dress but rather have it waiting for me when I arrived.

This is such a beautiful dress and the picture doesn't do it justice. The green and black combination is amazing. This was a nice departure from the usual black cocktail dress I'd wear and it stood out amongst the various sequins dresses that are very popular this season. I am usually between an 8 and a 10 and I decided to go with the 8. It was a perfect fit. I'd rent this again. Very comfortable too.

The fabric of this dress is outstanding. Very thick but has a very nice, flattering sheen to it. As you can see from the photos it is not a full peplum, however, i think the fact that the peplum is pinned down in the front keeps the wearer from getting those "peplum hips" that make many women steer clear of the style. Also, the green is very deep, much deeper than the picture--more emerald and black. I paired this with the Kate Spade earrings sent as a part of the stylist surprise, along with black tights and high black crocodile wedges and a black blazer (until i moved from working the room to the dance floor). This was perfect for an office holiday party, where you want to look nice but avoid being inappropriately dressed. All in all this is a beautiful dress that would be perfect for so many occasions--from a winter wedding shower, to a church event, brunch with the in-laws; i really think this is one of the best dresses I have rented. Yet another amazing RTR experience!

I usually am between a size 2 or size 4. The 4 wasn't available, so I thought I'd try the 2 since I loved it so much. It was snug, but zipped up perfectly! I received so many compliments and felt gorgeous all night! Thank you Rent the Runway :)

I wore this to a work holiday party. It is festive and a great length. True to size for the most part. I usually wear a 0 or 2 depending on the top.

This dress is LOVELY and CLASSIC. Pairing it with the Kate Spade Clean Break Necklace really took it to another level. With my red hair and fair skin, the color was perfect. All of that being said, the fit was a little strange but still worth a shot. I normally wear an 8 in dresses. I have more of an athletic build and have had two children, so fit can sometimes be all over the place. I was sent the 10 in this, and while it worked, it was a little uncomfortable to wear during my evening out. The top of the dress fit well and I would say it was even a little large. It more than accommodated my 36C chest with room to spare. I don't think it looked TOO big, though I was aware that it was a bit on the larger side as I was wearing it. This fabric is heavy and will provide zero stretch, so I'd say that the top will be a good fit for anyone moderately well-endowed in the chest. If you are below a C and above a D cup, I'm not sure this would be a good fit. The bottom is where I had more problems. The waist was nice and tight so it definitely did a good job of cinching in any 'tummy problems'. However, the skirt was RIDICULOUSLY tight! I almost never have this problem because my legs are pretty slim, but I was shocked at how packed into this dress I was (on the bottom). It was a little uncomfortable to sit at first. After a few glasses of wine, I didn't really notice as much. Either it was the wine or perhaps the dress was being broken in a bit? Hard to tell. I did receive the dress brand new with the tags still on, so it's possible that it just needed a little 'wear' time. Overall, I think this was a gorgeous dress and I was happy to be able to wear it. I think the fit will be tricky for lots of people, though. I would highly recommend it to ladies who are more straight and narrow as it will give you the illusion of lots of beautiful curves. I would recommend going up a size simply for the bottom even if the top might feel a little too big.

Great for a night wedding.
