Oh where do I start! I emcee a charity fashion show every year and usually 2-4 dresses and change throughout the event. This was my opening dress and probably my fave. The cape gangs perfectly. The sash gives a bit of a waist, the material is classy and elegant. People took more photographs of this dress than the one I closed the night in. Looks like you've got more money than Kanye.

The fit was true to size. I'm 6' tall and it wasn't crazy short like I thought. It is a linen blend, so wrinkles rather easy.

It has a bigger fit and wrinkles easily but it is worth it. If you know that you cannot handle a bigger fit and the possibility of wrinkles than this dress is not for you.

I wore this dress to go out to the bars after my wedding reception - absolutely LOVED it! After wearing my wedding dress all day, this was the perfect, comfy, yet chic dress to throw on - and I got compliments all night! I ordered the XS and S. The S was more roomy, but it didn't come with the belt in the package so I ended up wearing the XS which did (it's attached). The sizing wasn't that much different between the two, but it definitely needed the belt to give it some shape. The cape was awesome - so fun! I'm thinking about renting this again for my local reception in a few weeks!

My back-up size was a small but it never came so I had to go with the XS. But, it turned out I didn't need the back-up cause it fit pretty well. I added minimal jewelry and let the dress speak for itself. The cape is already dramatic enough so I went with a diamond/pearl choker. It's very easy to iron but even easier to wrinkle. The cape sometimes falls off the shoulder but it didn't bother me. I got so many compliments and every one loved the cape! I would definitely rent this again in a heartbeat!

This is definitely a show stopping piece. It commands attention and the room, so wear it proudly and confidently. The only con is how easily it wrinkles, but I'm still giving it 5 stars because it's that beautiful. Love the belt tie and the pockets.

I intended to wear the large dress, but ending up only receiving the medium (they shipped me a free second option). The medium was a little snug, but it fit and I loved it!

Wore it to a winter gala for work. I felt classy and sophisticated. Lining is cozy and heavy so I was plenty warm, and you couldn't see my purple bra :) the cape adds great drama! I'm 5'1", 120#, 34C. Fit was just right at the bust, a bit loose through the waist, and length of the dress fell a few inches above the knee. Cape fell just below knee. If you're on the fence, go for it! And size down.

Fits nicely, mostly true-to-size

Runs really big, size down. otherwise, perfect for the occasion - bridal shower. Classy and chic. Wore cluster earrings, no necklace needed as the dress alone is a statement. A little hard to figure out how to get on, especially if you already have makeup on :)

I was curious as to how I would like maneuvering around with a cape but it was easier than I thought. I sized down based on the other reviews and I am glad I did. The only things to be aware of is the fabric does wrinkle and it is very white so make sure the environment you will be in is conducive to keep it clean.

this dress runs large, but the belt helps define the waist. The cape was amazing and I received a million compliments! perfect to rent- too memorable to be able to wear more than once a year!

This dress was a but if a showstopper. I got so many compliments on it! I didn't think I could pull off a cape, but if I could than so can you! It's really comfortable, and even more flattering. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and it covered up my bump really well. The earrings were RTRW as well.

Ran large in the shoulders, but forgiving in the rest of the torso because the belt is adjustable. Minimalist accessories needed - let the dress do the talking. Does need a little steam before wearing. Would wear again!

Wore this for a photo shoot. I wasn't sure about the cape, so I rented this as a "wild card" option. This ended up being my absolute favorite piece of the day! It's chic and modern, and a bit daring. It's definitely a statement outfit. This does run a bit large, so I recommend sizing down, and I also think this silhouette would look most flattering on a tall, lean figure. Great rental! I may rent again.

I ordered both the medium and large. The medium was dingy, and the small didn't have a belt. I preferred the medium because it didn't bunch at the shoulders nor did it make me look like I was merely wearing a white sheet. However, I opted for the small despite not having the belt to break up the look and it was still a showstopper. Glad I rented it!

Great dress! Wrinkles terribly.

The material was hard to iron out and get it to lay flat, especially the hem. However, I didn't care so much that it wrinkled easily, the material still looked fine. It didn't run AS large as I expected, but still large. Medium was very tight across chest and gapped in the shoulders. Felt that the belt looked like a bathrobe so I tied it in the back and added my own. Heavy fabric for a hot summer evening but totally worth it. Got tons of compliments all night long and it was definitely different than what ANYONE else wore.

As soon as I received this dress at my door I tried it on! I just so happened to try the XS first and it fit perfectly so I didn't bother with the S (my original size). I'm sure the S would have fit, I'm just lazy. :) I wore this dress when I attended Denver Fashion Week. IT WAS A SHOW STOPPER! I got so many compliments from jealous women, which isn't common when you are only 16. The only problem I had was with wrinkles from sitting down to get my shoes on, not to mention the light rail, car, and at dinner. Also, it was difficult getting into the car, but not a big deal.. Nevertheless no one was paying attention to the wrinkles only my outfit as a whole. I can't even begin to express how pleased I am with this outfit. It. Was. Unbelievable.

PRO: Makes a PHENOMENAL statement. Truly unique dress, conservative enough for a work function, but full of personality. Very flattering. Looked amazing with gold statement jewelry (also from RTR). CON: Wrinkles VERY VERY easily. This was problematic.

The material photographs well but it definitely runs large. I wish the front was a bit more low cut considering how much of you figure is hidden by the cape but overall a fun dress. It wrinkles easy and gets dirty easy so you need to act just as classy as you look if you want to successfully rock this number all night.

I love the style of the this dress. I felt glamorous wearing this to get married at city hall. Only complaint is that this dress gets wrinkles wayyy too easily.

Dress was great! So unique. Got compliments all night long. I wore the small but probably would have been more comfortable in the medium (it had a black spot on the front, didn't want to try get it out and couldn't cover it is with a accessory). Went great with gold shoes and jewelry!

The fit is naturally large because of the cape so I highly recommend buying a size down. I'm usually a small/medium in dress but the XS fit me perfectly. The dress wrinkles very easily so keep that in mind to. I wore this dress in Miami which got a little hot throughout the night since the material is pretty heavy. Another thing that I noticed is that the backup that I got was different then the XS. The shoulder pads were all wrinkled and hard to iron out. Overall this is the perfect dress for date night, wedding or formal.

I wore this to a girls night out to the ballet and it was perfect! I have an athletic build with larger shoulders and narrow hips and was concerned about adding volume to my top which I tend to avoid; however the draping of this dress is extremely flattering! While this is a bold choice, it would be great for any straighter and probably taller build. Would rent again! Just as a head's up - the small is starting to show some wear, and you can size down for a backup.

This dress ran a bit big but overall, it was perfect for the occasion. The tied waist made for a great and flattering shape. The "cape" part of the dress made it unique. I received many compliments on this dress.

I felt very classy and elegant in this unique cape dress. I was a bit worried about the white fabric being see through, but the material is quite thick so it wasn't a problem. My husband took me out for a night on the town for my birthday and this was a fun dress to wear for the occasion. I received compliments on my dress as soon as we walked into the restaurant. I'd recommend sizing down because this is a loose fitting dress and does not do much for highlighting your silhouette. It's very loose in the chest as well. Also, if you feel awkward wearing shoulder pads, this might not be the dress for you. The cape is fun, but takes some getting used to when getting in and out of cars and/or in and out of your seat at a restaurant. The material is very nice, but it does wrinkle quite easily so keep that in mind. Overall, this was an elegant and fashion-forward dress so if you are wanting to try something new, I would recommend this. My only regret is that I did not rent a necklace for this dress.

This dress was beautiful in person and the fabric was heavy enough to drape. It runs large- I'm an 8 and the medium was big. It can be tied tighter with the belt but order a backup one size down.

This was perfect! The cape kept me warm in an overly chilled arena and I didn't need to wear any extra layers. I would love this in the summer as well when you have to bear a bit more skin, but still have to go into overly airconditioned places!

I wore this to my rehearsal dinner with some blue suede pointed sling backs and it was a hit! I only wish I had worn the medium since it ran large and bunched up slightly. The belt was helpful but I ended up wrapping it twice and towards the back just to give it more shape and definition. The quality of fabric was fantastic and it was a lined dress so I had no issues with undergarments. I was the first to wear the dress since the tags were on it and that was a great surprise! I am looking to buy the dress in black now since I had so many compliments on it!

Fits beautifully!. I have a very small frame, so I choose NOT to tie the belt in front which is very wide. The length is delightful and the cape, as you might imagine, is the perfect amount of drama.

The dress fit perfectly- It was loose on the hips (which is a plus for me) and very comfortable. The attached belt was perfect as it defined my waistline. The cape made the dress look very elegant. I got a lot of compliments and would definitely rent this again.

Unfortunately, I didn't really like the cape part of it.. I felt like BatGirl..so I didn't end up wearing it. It's a beautiful dress, though... loved how "thick" it was..
