The skirt is made of a much higher quality sturdy fabric than I expected. I liked it a lot. Would probably pair best with a white tee and sneakers for a casual look.

This was the black skirt I have always wanted and needed! The website photo makes it look like this is a casual, sporty skirt. But the material is actually thick, flattering, and helps shape your curves. It hits your natural waist, and I adore how it looks with a crop top. The length is perfect too! I'm pretty tall, but this comes about halfway down my thigh and doesn't really ride up so I never feel scandalous wearing it. I'm keeping it because I just can't imagine not having this in my closet.

Was able to get away with wearing this a little high waisted, not sure if it's meant to be worn that way. Perfect with a long blazer! The skirt was pretty hot though so I'd save it for the fall or somewhere with AC!

Can dress it down or up. Super cute and fits well.

I'm a black skirt enthusiast, in that all I want is one black skirt that works with everything. Not too short, not too wintery or summery, could be worn with boots + tights or sandals, fitted through the hip but not skin-tight....it's been a multi-year search if I'm being honest, and I've come up short until now. This skirt is perfect. The fabric is thicker, not so much so that it's too warm to work all year round, but just enough that it's super flattering and forgiving. It's the perfect length (I'm 5'9"), the perfect cut -- I could go on. Definitely a keeper, I'll be purchasing.

I am normally a Medium but ordered an XL in this skirt and it fit perfectly. It's one of those skirts that kind of rides up while you are walking, but it is a very nice thick material and isn't too short which I appreciate! I really liked this skirt a lot. I wore it a few times for running errands and once on a date.

I usually wear size 6 so ordered M. It was small so I just wear it one time. But the shape is great

i saw in other reviews that it runs small, but unfortunately the M wasn't available so i chanced the small. couldn't zip it, but to be fair i am very pear shaped. skirt was really nice material and i think i would have loved it if it fit. will give it another try sometime

I rented this skirt to wear on vacation during the summer. I was surprised how heavy the fabric turned out to be. This can be worn with a t-shirt and sneakers or a blouse and heels. The sizing is ridiculous as the other reviewers have noted. I'm 5'4" and 140 pounds and the XL just fit me.

This skirt was not what I was expecting. It runs small so size up, I could barely zip it. Material is really thick which I wasn't expecting, and there's a pocket on the side I didn't realize was there

PRO'S Very well constructed, thick material and cute style! CON'S Runs small. I'm usually a XS or S and the XS wouldn't even zip up! The S zipped but it sat really high, and was too short for the workplace. I could try a medium but at this point i'm giving up. Could work for something short and very petite!

I wore this skirt once. I walked to campus gave my final presentation and walked home. By that point I was done wearing it for the rest of the month. Far too tight and it made my chub rub bad. If you rent it go a size up. Also the material is thicker than I imagined. I thought it would have some give to it and it did not.
