I wore this dress for a friend's bridal shower dinner. I received tons of compliments.
I am between the sizes 10 & 12 right now. I could have squeezed into the 10 but I wore the 12 instead. It had lots of wiggle room. I added a baby blue jacket and a salmon colored thin belt. The dress is very comfortable and very flattering for a woman with curves. I was very very happy with this rental. It was perfect for the event and helped me to feel both stylish and beautiful. And as always the service was perfect. I even received this dress a day early.

Perfect dress for the occasion.
This dress was absolutely perfect for my sister 's engagement party. Everyone commented on how beautiful it looked. Fit well, true to size. I was glad it allowed room for a strapless bra. Overall I was really happy with my entire experience.

Sweet and simple upgrade to the average casual sundress. A shoulder necklace totally made it.
I wore this to a beach wedding with nude heels and a gold chain shoulder necklace. I got a ton of compliments and felt really comfortable all evening, indoors and out, whether standing, sitting, or dancing. A cropped navy cardigan was a perfect addition once it got chilly. The dresses arrived in really poor condition, which spoiled what otherwise would have been another excellent RTR experience. I'll save that info for the end of my review. What I loved: - The pattern and colors are really beautiful. - The dress is lightweight and very comfortable. - It's easy to accessorize and match shoes. - The pockets are a sweet touch. What I didn't love: - The dress runs large, but only through the waist and hips. If my chest were much bigger, I would have had to size up, which would be frustrating with the rest of the dress already quite loose. - The fabric has zero stretch, which makes fitting difficult but crucial. This would be a more all-pleasing dress in a material other than cotton, something that hugs and gives along the curves. - The tulip hem is problematic if it's really windy. I learned this the hard way! - The design is unflattering in the waist/stomach; the pleats and drapes add bulk. I'm a legit hourglass, so I prefer to accentuate this area rather than hide it. If you have a little extra in the gut then it's probably ideal. A little bit of a baby bump would even be adorable in this dress. Had the dresses been the quality I expected, my order would have been perfect. Unfortunately, both sizes looked like they should have been retired long ago. It was like they'd been worn by girls who squeezed into them and tested the seams at every angle. The extra-soft cotton fabric was probably beautiful at some point, but it just looked over-worn. The 10 had a ripped seam that allowed the plastic boning to pop out and poke me in the armpit. It also had a stain on the chest - a perfectly round, coffee-colored dot - which luckily blended in with the splotchy pattern (though that color brown is conspicuously absent elsewhere on the dress). I can't blame the dry cleaners for missing the spot, but the ripped seam is a deal-breaker. I went to try on the 12 hoping it was in better condition, but the seam at the bottom of the zipper was also ripped, and the zipper was stuck to where I couldn't even pull it up. (It would have been too big anyway.) Who is letting all of these ripped dresses out the door? To RTR's credit, I contacted customer service and explained the problems, mostly because I didn't want to be on the hook for damages. They offered to send another dress and refunded my order without question. I chose to just wear the 10 and deal with the pokes rather than worry about the logistics of a last-minute hotel delivery. I hope they tighten up on QA.

This dress got many compliments. I had a great night and felt very comfortable wearing it to dance.
I rented sizes 10 and 12(12 being the complimentary size), and the 10 was just a little too tight to be comfortable for the whole night (I don't normally wear short or form fitting clothing). I loved the pockets! The print was fantastic. I'm a bigger girl and the dress didn't make me look big.

Perfect dress for an outdoor wedding!
I loved this dress!! It was perfect for my friend's outdoor wedding on Memorial Day. It fit perfectly and thankfully it was also very comfortable to wear. The temperature hit a high of 93* and I was cool and stylish. I was able to wear my own strapless bra (although if you have a smaller chest than me you may not even need one.) And who doesn't love a dress with POCKETS!! I paired my look with a simple pair of gold heels and gold jewelry (both of which I wore to another wedding earlier in the month) Great dress!! Of course I wished I could have kept it.

Got lots of compliments in a sea of long even gowns. Was flattering yet super comfortable!
I rented this dress for a black tie wedding. Per the invite "evening gowns were preferred" but this number worked just fine with some pretty earrings and a chic updo! The fabric seemed lighter/airier than I would have imagined. The fit was super comfortable due to the elastic portion in the back, althought the elastic in the back bunched a bit on me. It's a classy, pretty dress. Also, my RTR experience was awesome! I can't wait to rent for my next wedding next month!

Loved that this was relatively casual but more fun than your average sundress.
Loved the colors in this dress - pastels plus brighter shades. There are tons of accessory and shoe options. I wanted to dress down so I wore with a white shell-like necklace and flat sandals. The fabric was pretty casual - its cotton, though it appears silk in the pic. I think Catherine Malandrino runs small so I got the 4 & 6 but wore the 4. Someone with a larger chest would probably need to size up.

More casual than I expected, but still got tons of compliments!
The fit was a perfect 6, and I usually don't wear strapless dresses but this one was very comfortable. The colors were fairly accurate to the photo on the website, but the dress was much more casual than I expected. It seemed like more of a sundress. The ribbing on the inside of the dress seemed a little off and uneven, and puckered in weird places, but overall a good dress.

Super Comfortable!
Fits really well, hids the midsection area so you can drink and eat all you want! I was able to wear a regular strapless bra under the dress. The material was light and very comfortable and even though it was strapless, it was not falling down throughout the night!

loved the colors, perfect for early spring
I ordered down for my backup size because I didn't want to be pulling it up all night, and I was glad I did! One surprise was that the wrap is not connected, so it essentially could become a huge slit at an outdoor wedding in early May if the wind is blowing the right way.

Perfect warm weather garden or winery party dress for grown-ups.
Seriously thought about buying this dress, it's got a great fit and is incredibly comfortable. Wore it to an industry event held outdoors. The tailoring creates a classic but cute shape for the dress in the front. Elasticated smocking on the back meant that you could wear a strapless bra and it fit comfortable. The dress is quite short (mid-thigh) but drapes nicely so it looked great with heels without looking tacky.

Beautiful dress
Wore this for graduation and it was easy to make formal with accessories even though the dress is cotton. Colors were slightly more muted than the pictures but still beautiful. Some have noted that the slit can ride high but I didn't have that problem.

Great dress! I wore this to a friend's wedding and got lots of compliments. Due to my shape, it was tighter on the bottom than on top, but thanks to the tulip shape it wasn't too tight and was very flattering. Great for pear shapes. Would definitely rent it again!

I liked this dress and got many compliments on it. The shape of the dress was great for me because it's fitted at the natural waist. The strechy part in the back helped keep it comfortable so the 10 fit me the best.

I simply LOVE this dress! It hits just above the knee for me so it was perfect length of a garden wedding. The dress really stands out in the sea of black. I love that the back has a little give so you can breath and eat.

I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding on Long Island in August, and I loved it. I am between two sizes and wore the smaller size, and the hem hit me just below mid-thigh. Thanks to the boning, there was enough structure where you could wear this without a bra. The design and fabric are also very forgiving if you happen to have a big dinner. It was very comfortable, great for dancing, and I received a lot of compliments. Enjoy!

This dress is gorgeous and photographs well. I wore it to a beach wedding. It was a little bit formal for the occasion, but the colors and fabric make it fun. There's boning on the inside, so I was able to go bra-less and still have a nice shape and it hid my reception food paunch. Also, the smocking on the back made the dress pretty forgiving. The slit up the middle felt a little racy at first, but it was really hard to show your goods and it was nice to have the length on the sides and back. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and wore the 4 in this dress (only got it in one size). I think a 6 would fit just as well because of the smocking.

Beautiful coloration; looked great in photos and somehow made my legs look amazing.
Lightweight fabric made the dress a breeze to wear; plenty of movement in the skirt made for great dancing. My one issue is that the waist cut didn't quite work for me; to be fair, I have broad shoulders/narrow waist, but I still think it could have been a bit more form fitting throughout the torso.

love these colors for an outdoor summer wedding
I picked the dress for its colors -- fresh and fun, yet still classy enough for an upscale summer wedding. The dress that I wore was a little big -- it seemed like the elastic back had been stretched out a bit. The fabric was also more soft and cotton than fabric you'd associate with formal wear, so it felt a little casual, but it could be easily dressed up with jewelry and shoes. I am pretty short, and I found the length to be great for me. So if you're taller than average, you might find it a little short.

Great dress but had tears
I wore the dress to a recital dinner for a beach wedding. The dress was very comfortable and light, which was nice because the weather was humid. I got lots of compliments on the dress. Only downside was that there were slight tears along the seams at the sides.

runs a little large, especially loose around bottom- was expecting a tighter fit. bust is framed but fits strangely, like there's some extra space. dress has pockets, which is a nice detail, but weirdly the two front "flaps" of the dress can be pulled apart. pretty design, nonetheless! in retrospect, i should've ordered down for backup size and not up as i usually do.

Overall, very pretty dress. Perfect for an outdoor wedding. Receive compliments on patttern. Did wrinkle with travel due to material and seemed to stretch a bit as night went on. I would have gone a size down or rather would have gotten my true size and then a size smaller to compare. I did the opposite and found 4 too big.

Pretty but HUGE
I am a solid 4 and actually on the larger end having had a baby about 10 months ago. This dress was HUGE everywhere, including in the stomach where I have some extra loving, and in the boobs where they are pretty big due to nursing. A bummer because it was really pretty.

Nice fit, but stretched back
Overall, I loved the dress but unfortunately the back which is elastic was very stretched out and drooped. I called customer service and was very very impressed with their response and solution. As this was my first experience with Rent the Runway, the issue with the dress will not deter me from renting, again due to outstanding customer service.

Think it looks better online!
First experience with RTR and unfortunately it was a bust :( The dress was way too big on me and it balloons a bit on the butt. I actually ordered 4&6 because I'm generally in between those sizes and have gained 5 lbs - I thought I'd end up with the larger size. The 4 was loose on the butt and on top because it stretched quite a bit which is great for bigger chested gals. I wasn't too impressed with the print - it looks way brighter online and the whitish area were more like a yellowy cream. Had to return and wear a back up

Looked cute in pictures, but fit was awful
This dress ran big. I could pinch about an inch of fabric along the sides. It just looked baggy and ill-fitting. I still wore it, and it looked OK, but not as cute as I was hoping when I splurge on renting a dress.

Dress didn't work out, but the rental experience was fantastic.
I ordered this dress in a 0 and a 2 (as a backup size). The 0 was way too large in the bust-- it slid right off, and no push-up bra or padding could have helped. It was also a lot shorter than expected, and the colors on the dress were dull and not as vibrant as the photo shows. I called RTR and they shipped me a new dress that arrived the very next day...fantastic customer service, as always!

A little racy for the Chamber meeting, but too amazing to skip.
I thought this dress was going to be longer, so when I got it, I wondered if it was going to be de trop for the networking event. I ended up getting a lot of compliments from the lady at the jewelry store where the event was held and it was very comfortable on a summer day. It has boning in some kind of strange places, but seems to work.
