I rented this for everyday wear to work, dinner, and out with friends.
The size of the bag is perfect for everyday essentials and a book (or two). The shoulder straps make it handy when you're hands are full, but with most Claire V bags, it looks cutest when the shorter straps are held. I loved the quality of the leather and the bold red stripe brought a pop of color to my mostly neutral wardrobe. It's perfect for a small tablet or kindle reader. The one reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the top stays very open making it difficult to keep belongings inside/safe when in crowded areas. I wouldn't recommend it if you're in crowded areas.
