Rented this for a work recognition event. Definitely ideal for the cooler weather. Its very form fitting and shows every crease, lump and bump. I did have to tuck in the sleeves as someone else mentioned as they were a little long. It arrived one day earlier than anticipated. Ordered the bracelets shown on the model too and loved them. The whole process was easy and convenient. I'm looking forward to selecting my next rental.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dress, and neither could everyone else. I did not think in a million years a skin tight dress would work on me, but it did! Both dresses arrived brand new with tags (LOVE when that happens, lol!) and I tried the M first. I am usually an 8, but can go down to a 6 if the dress is A-line or up to a 10 if its straighter or tighter. The M was a Better fit as I think this is supposed to be VERY tight, but my husband was worried about breaking the zipper (thanks Hun) so I went with the L. The fabric is thick and tight enough that it actually does smooth you out instead of showing lumps and bumps, but I still wore spanx for added smoothness. The back is totally open, so I had to rush out and get a sticky backless bra. Due to this fact, I don't think this dress would be good for larger chested women, as I don't see how a regular bra would work at all. The neoprene was also very warm -- perfect for winter. I'm 5'10" and it hit just at my knees, so it's definitely a midi in lengti. And one teeny little complaint -- I had to keep pulling it over because it would become off-centered throughout the night. Not a huge deal. The print and quality are beautiful, and it was super comfy.

Very snug fit—save that pasta dinner for after the event! I'm short (5'2), so I had to roll the sleeves under once, but it was not noticeable. The beautiful scuba fabric kept me warm on a chilly November night—this would not do in warmer climates or during the summer. Since the dress is so exquisitely patterned, it was easy to accessorize with a minimal bangle/cuff and collar. The picture doesn't show off the lovely back of the dress, which is partially open—a great incentive to keep your posture straight. I wore this to the wedding REHEARSAL dinner—I think wearing it to the actual wedding would be a little too showy and might borderline on upstaging the bride . . . but use your own discretion ;)

I wore this to a movie premier in NYC. It was really cold and the dress was perfect because it is very warm. Probably not great for a summertime event but perfect for fall or winter. It fit perfectly and was very flattering. This picture sort of sucks, but it did look really good on. I plan to rent it again!

Ladies this dress is conturing and shows EVERYTHING!!! I wore spanx and I had to keep bunching the dress around my torso to not show off my spanx torso line. No strap bras...your entire upper back will be out. I just took paper nipple pads to cover up the girls. I love the dress...but just be aware if your tummy sticks out a bit and you're self conscious about it...don't wear it. After everyone started dancing the room was hot....but the dress wasn't too hot and I wasn't sweating. The hemline went past the knee It feels like a scuba suit. I would definitely wear it again...but not so soon after a huge christmas dinner

Being larger on top, I was worried about being able to pull this off with the open back. This dress was so well designed - it worked! I love the thicker (almost like a wetsuit) material. Very flattering sucks everything in and is perfect for a colder night. RTR, how can I purchase this dress? Everything about it was perfect.

I rented this for a "creative cocktail" themed art gala in CO at the end of April. The material was nice & warm & also very smoothing- didn't need any shapewear. I received many compliments throughout the evening! My favorite feature was the open back which added a little sexiness to an otherwise conservative dress.

The material is like a wetsuit. Super unique and fun to wear. So thick and tight that you don't need spanx. Great dress if you will be outside or in a chilly environment because it is so warm.

The fit was perfect! I just had a baby 6 week ago and I was worried that the medium would be too snug. They were all out of the large, so I got the medium. This scuba dress by clover canyon is unique at the same time very sexy as it is fitted with a beautiful opening at the back. I got so many compliments and yes I strut like a model as everyone looked! Its warm which is perfect for a Chicago weather. Definitely a must rent!

The fabric is amazingly comfortable and slimming. The dress is eye-catching yet modest because it is not revealing. It is true to size. I received many compliments. I loved wearing the dress and would consider the designer again. I will definitely rent the runway again as well... great experience!

I absolutely loved this dress, the fit, the fabric and the pattern were all spot on. I wore this in March on the East Coast and kept warm since the fabric does run on the thick side (so keep that in mind if you are renting this during the summer). The design is so much better in person, it's one of the most unique pieces I have rented and I received a ton of compliments on the style. There won't be another person in this same type dress at an event...I can tell you that! Best part though it the cut out back - such a great detail! Definitely can't wear a bra with this one, but with the material on the thick side it does offer pretty good coverage. You could always wear pasties as well. The fit is very snug, and the fabric does tend to ride up a bit, so I did find myself pulling the dress down throughout the night but that would be my one and only complaint.

I love Clover Canyon and the way the brand fits, and love their funky patterns that always seem to hit the body in the perfect place. This dress is the epitome of all of that! The long sleeves keep you warm and the open back is a fun twist. I paired it with tights for a cold date night.

I ordered the XS. It fit perfectly. I attended a wedding where the temperature was about 60 degrees and rainy. I didn't have to wear a coat because the scuba material warmed me up. The long sleeves also kept me warm, but because the back is open, I didn't get too hot while dancing. I wore one of those sticky bras because the back is open. You definitely can't wear a normal bra with this. Girls who are less endowed like myself can even get away with not wearing a bra at all. I felt classy and a little sexy because of the fit and the open back. I did have to keep pulling the dress down so that the open back didn't pop-out. Also, if you are at all bloated, it's going to show in this dress. But other than that, I felt super comfortable and super pretty.

This dress was a knock-out! I tend to shy away from slim fitting (after 3 babies) but this was so comfortable and unique. Normally, spanx are a must for me and I didn't even need them. The thick fabric smooths lumps and bumps and was super comfy. I ordered the small and the medium (expecting to wear the medium) and the small was just right. I felt like a rock star.

Loved this dress. True to size. Tight but stretchy material. Does show any flaws so spanx came in handy. Didn't wear a bra which worked out well with the dress as it was supportive for smaller chested ladies.

Neoprene/scuba material really holds you in and looks great on. The sleeves are made to fit long, and the dress tends to ride up a little. If you're on the shorter side, like me, the hemline can feel awkward, but it still looks great. Wore it for a winter event and was warm and comfortable. I suggest a sleek hairstyle and simple earrings, since the pattern is busy. Very cool, would rent this again!

I got a lot of compliments for this dress at the charity gala I attended. And since I wore this in winter, it helped keep me warm. However, I had to keep pulling down the dress since I'm 5'2" and the dress waist kept wanting to ride up to my natural waist. I doubt this would be a problem for a taller person. Also, this dress is backless but that material is thick and supportive so you can wear it without a bra and look like a knockout. Keep in mind that there are not slits on the sides, so you have to take small steps - easy enough when my shoes are a mile high.

This dress worked great with my 21 week bump. I've worn a Clover Canyon before and just went up a size from medium to large. It looked great and I received compliments all night. I didn't realize it was backless when I initially ordered which may have deterred me since I'm pregnant but it ended up being fine braless since it is so fitted.

This dress fit perfectly and really flatters the figure. It is very thick material so it was great for a fall/winter wedding. It is right below the knees so high heels were a must, and made it look very sophisticated!

Though I did not love the "scuba suit" materialat first it proved to be flattering and comfortable for an early fall outdoor event. The open back added extra ventilation. The dress was perfect for a wedding elegant and sexy without being over the top

I got quite a few comments on this dress, including someone asking me where I got it. I love the fit (form-fitting), fabric (thick, scuba suit-esque material), length (below knees), color, and cut-out detail in the back. The cut-out did necessitate an adhesive bra, but the weight of the fabric and tightness of the dress helped keep it in place, which can otherwise be a struggle for me due to my chest size. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is, like other reviewers have mentioned, it rides up in a serious way. Expect frequent adjusting.

My only criticism is that it hiked up when I walked, but I have hips and this is common. I LOVED this dress, though, and felt sexy in it all night!

I loved this dress. I was a little worried the print was a bit crazy, but it actually was fun and figure flattering. The dress fit great and was perfect at highlighting my curves. The scuba like material was actually perfect for the cooler fall weather. Like others mentioned, the dress does ride up...quite a bit if you are doing any amount of walking. I would have given it a 5 star if not for that, as I spent a lot of time pulling it down. But did get compliments for several strangers.

So I loved the stress but the key hole in the back made it hard for a work event so I wore it with a blazer. I received numerous compliments and the dress fit true to size. Like a lot of the other reviews it does suck you win but at the same time can be kind of lumpy. I wore this in Chicago at the end of October to a women's leadership conference and it was great I love rent the runway!!!

I was 29 weeks pregnant when I wore this dress. The large was a little big but the medium was too snug, so I ended up wearing the large. Regardless, the dress was a hit and was pretty comfortable. I love this brand!

Ordered this for work holiday party when my other choices weren't available. Decided to return without wearing. This dress needs to fit perfectly to look good and have no bumps to pull it off...which was not the case with me..plus I didn't like the colors...this dress didn't make me feel good and fell flat.

The sleeves were awesomely long and the seams of the shoulders actually came to the end of my shoulders, it was an unexpected surprise. Being such a longer and larger than average woman, this dress fit me like I wish so many did. It was nice!

I received many complements. The dress is very unique so all eyes will be on you. I wore to a company dinner party and finished my night at a jazz club. I unfortunately did not get any pictures except a selfie that does not show much of the dress. I will have to rent again to take pictures. I wore with the black reusable strapless backless adhesive underwire bra. I also wore long black boots. The dress kept me warm on a very cold night.

I'm a curvaceous woman and it was very flattering to my shape. The thick material allowed me to hide my "jagged" edges (lol). The dress was true to size and allowed for room with the stretchy material. I got lots of compliments! I wore it with a leather blazer because I was a little self conscious about my kangaroo pouch but after all the compliments I ended up taking it off. I wore my hair up to show the opening in the back.
