The material is a great spandex type material. The small was a little big so I had to go with the XS, which was a little tighter than I preferred but I still loved it!! This is my second clover canyon rental. Great brand. Got several compliments. Would definitely rent again! PS my friend to the right rented her dress as well from RTR.

I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party at a trendy downtown bar. I wanted something unique-something that was nothing like any other rental I have worn. Clover Canyon was the perfect choice! I was nervous about the material for humid Houston weather but it was not an issue at all. I am also 6 months pregnant and wanted a form fitting dress to display the baby bump! I was beyond comfortable all night, did not wear a bra but a strapless would have to be worn for those who want a bra (due to the slight razor back). I would have to say the dress runs a little big, I am normally 5'4 115lbs and would have rented the XS, I am now 130 and chose to wear the small. The medium was my backup size and that would have worked but it was not as form fitting as I envisioned. I say rent your normal size and one size up but you will most likely wear your normal size! I paired this dress with Steve Madden nude strappy heels and Kendra Scott rose gold "Danielle" earrings (both my own). I also was given a Henri Bendel bracelet in green that I wore at the end of the night. However this dress does not need much accessories! Be brave and rent this dress-you won't regret it!

This dress was absolutely perfect for a horse race/outdoor HOT event. The material was almost "dryfit" to an extent, so it was great on at 87 degree, humid day. I got more compliments on this dress than any dress I have ever worn. I would rent this again for any summer event! LOVED IT!

Pro: sexy colors, eye catching pattern and tight fitting. Great for small petite bodies: made me look curvy and busty even though I'm not. Such a hot dress for a birthday dinner or date!!! No Spanx or jewelry or accessories needed - the pattern does the talking. Cons: wetsuit material, heavy fabric and slippery. Might not be good for hot weather. Might require a backless/strapless NuBra so the straps don't show.

I love Clover Canyon their scuba material is a girls best friend!! There's never a need for spanx!! The colors of this dress were electric!!

Rented this dress in a M for NYE in Jamaica. I am 5'11" and about 150lbs. It was perfect for the occasion. You'll need to wear a racerback or strapless bra but not spanx or any additional undergarments needed. The material smooths you out and holds you in in all the right places!

The fit of this dress is amazing!! I was so comfortable all night and the thick material and tight fit are super flattering. I was worried it would be too short since I'm 5'11 but it wasn't at all and it didn't ride up either. I will definitely rent this brand again - I'm actually working on convincing my boyfriend to buy it for me since he was such a fan :)

I loved this dress! The colors and patterns on this dress were really striking and looked great in pictures. I wore this dress to a comedy show in Boston. I knew I'd be meeting the radio hosts of Wake Up With Taylor so I had to find the perfect dress. The fit was great, it was definitely true to size. I also rented the medium just in case but due to the stretchy material of the dress the small fit perfectly. I'd recommend this dress for any event, it's easy to dress it up or down. I paired it with a pair of black heels that had an ankle strap. This was my first rental from RTR and it was a very easy process. Can't wait to rent my next dress!

While searching for the perfect "little white dress" for my wedding rehearsal/dinner, this Clover Canyon dress appeared on RTR. I quickly became obsessed with the colors/print and ditched the idea of wearing a typical white dress to the rehearsal and went in the opposite direction. I am so happy I did! The dress is bright, beautiful, and fun for summertime; I received so MANY compliments on the pattern and color. As others have commented, although the neoprene is a tight fit, the dress was still appropriate - and comfortable - for the occasion. I ended up wearing the M because I made the mistake of doing my makeup before I put the dress on and I needed all the give I could get pulling the dress over my head so not to get makeup on the dress, but probably could have worn the S comfortably. The dress did ride up a little bit, but that's the nature of neoprene material and it wasn't bad enough to complain by any means. Overall, I LOVED wearing this dress and plan on renting again!!

It's neoprene so the material is meant to hug your body. I wore spanks to smooth out any lumps/bumps but I probably could have gotten away without them. The material doesn't really breathe and I was a little hot at times, but overall I thought this dress was amazing and I felt beautiful in it.

The material is like a wet suit! It was very flattering. The event was last night and I'm still getting text messages today about how pretty my dress was!

My new obsession!!! I am head over heels IN LOVE with this dress! Clover Canyon has always been one of my favorite designers on the site, and this dress was exactly what I expected. The scuba material is beyond comfortable while still fitting snug to my body. The length hit about mid thigh. I wore a sticky bra just because I prefer it but you can also wear a strapless bra. I also rented the KENNETH JAY LANE Cypress Cuff which is pictured. I did not want to take this dress off!!

This dress fit extremely well and was super comfortable. It needs a strapless bra, which wasn't a big deal. However, the colors weren't as bright as I could tell they used to be, and there were a few signs of wear (there was some pilling right below the bust on the right side). I'm guessing this is because it's been worn by a lot of people, which is fine seeing as this is a rental site, but is the reason I only gave 4 stars. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great material and super flattering. Fun print and the striping makes the waist look small. I felt like it ran a little big and it rides up like crazy. (Never to the point where anything was showing but just endless tugging down). If I rented again it would be for an event where I was mostly sitting or standing, not hotel bar hopping. All that walking was rough! Otherwise perfect for a night out!

The length was perfect and great if you have a bust on the larger size. The only negative was the arm area. My arms are not in the best shape, so when I put my arms down at the side it showed a bit too much "arm fat", but is not the dress's fault though....Very happy with the brand!

Wore this dress for an August wedding that had a 3:30pm ceremony but was scheduled to go on well into the night. I was initially hesitant about picking this dress (especially given the model's sort of awkward photos) but after trying it on at Bendel's, I decided it would be a nice alternative to the typical wedding guest dress. It is a tighter fit than I would typically wear to a wedding but the color and pattern are so lively that the body-hugging neoprene remains very tasteful! The temperature outside ranged from 65-85 throughout the day/ night and I was never too hot. The neoprene was amazing and I got a lot of compliments on the dress! I would definitely recommend this dress or any of the Clover Canyon dresses! I am typically a girl who wears black and I loved this dress. One tip: just be aware of the dress riding up. It never rode all the way up on me but if you are a pear or hourglass shape you will definitely want to watch that.

I absolutely loved this dress! It was so flattering and I got the most compliments I received on one of my RTR dresses. The material is like a scuba material but not too thick where you're so hot. I paired it with a turquoise pair of Louboutin's and loved every minute wearing it. I loved it so much, I am keeping it so I can wear it more!!

I rented this dress for a trip to Puerto Rico and it was perfect! I have a rather wide upper body, but the M fit jut right! Slimming, vibrant and very comfortable. The material is thick so it keeps everything in place as it should be. ;) Dress has a little bit of give, but not too much since it's a body-form dress. Loved it all around.

Dress fits well, and is very colorful. I received quite a few compliments at the opening of an exclusive designer dress shop. I added a belt though- to give it a less summery look.

Yes, this dress is tight but true to size. The colors and pattern are eye popping and distract from any "problem areas". It feels like a scuba suit which is great for dancing if it's hot and sweaty. I did have to yank it down during the night but got sooooo many complements. Loved this rental for my bff's surprise 40th!

It fit like a glove hugging all my curves. It was a thick material but cool enough to mask sweating at a summer wedding. The colors were bright and bold which I liked the most. I did have to pull it down when I walked since my hips made the bottom rise up a bit. Other than that I loved the dress!

What a show stopping AND comfortable dress. Just loved it! I was right between and size Small and Medium and chose to wear the Medium because it the Small hugged my bottom just a bit too much for my age. BUT for younger girls my size, the Size Small would be a perfect choice. So when ordering, if you want it to nicely hug your hips, then you are totally safe with the Small. As a result for me the Medium was a big big in my waist then, but I was just die with that. This is a spectacular dress for a spring event of a summer wedding!

I went to the RTR store in Vegas- would have never picked this out online, but I am SO glad I tried it on. The material is so comfortable, it feels like a lycra suit. It is stretchy, breathable, and the material is thick enough it contours your body without being clingy to area. I loved the pattern, would love to own this dress.

I wanted a unique dress for a Florida wedding and to be a little sexy without too much skin. This dress was perfect - very flattering, great fit and unlike anyone else's dress. I could wear a regular bra and I wore some Spanx because it did ride up a bit when I walked - not too badly. The Spanx helped smooth. I will definitely look at other dresses by this designer. Lots of compliments.

I wore this dress out multiple nights in Mykonos and Santorini. This is the perfect dinner and clubbing dress - stretchy and comfortable (room for pasta and gyros, as well as busting a move!). I'm 35-26-37 and normally wear a 4. The S fit snugly, with the bodycon effect I wanted. The print is gorgeous and lush in person.

The dress was perfect, the small fit as well however was very tight and so I went with the medium which ran a bit big but was more comfortable. Overall the dress color was so much more vibrant then I expected and was very soft. It was longer then I thought it would be too. The dress turned out great I would recommend 100%

I wore this dress in Key West. It was comfortable and lots of fun to wear. Like all Clover Canyons that I've worn, it did need to be pulled back down from time to time but I wore it on the airplane to Miami, in the car as we drove through the Keys, and then out that night. It was comfortable the whole time, didn't wrinkle, and looked great. It was shorter than some Clover Canyons so it wasn't too hot, but the material is definitely that scuba material that stretches with your body.
