I rented this dress for a fancy dinner out in February in NYC for my boyfriend's birthday. It was a great stretchy material so the XS fit my curvier hips just fine and was perfect for my smaller top half. I could wear a skin toned strapless bra and not worry about it being able to really show even if it popped up a little under the cut out area. It was a nice length so not too short as some of the XS dresses can be on me if they creep up, and it was nice and warm for a colder night out.

I really liked this dress. Apologies for the less than ideal picture. I don't like my arms, so I like the long sleeves, and the lace cut out makes it look less conservative. The thick material makes it super forgiving. Highly recommend overall. I think it ran ever so slightly big, so if you are getting a back up size go down.

The fit was great! I rented the medium and large and ended up wearing the large. The medium was just a little too snug, but the large was perfect! The material is very forgiving and so incredibly comfortable! I will definitely rent this one again!

I wore this dress for a new years party in Chicago where it was subzero temperatures so I wanted something with sleeves. The material was like neoprene and hid a lot of things I didn't want to show off! It was really comfortable and the laser cut details were really interesting. The length was perfect for a taller person. Got a lot of compliments. Loved it!

The material is very thick. I got a little warm in it, but overall it was a great dress. The length was perfect. It appears to be pretty short on the model, but I am 5'5" and it fell just above my knees giving it a more elegant look. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This was my first experience with Rent the Runway and I absolutely loved every minute of it! Seeing pictures and reading reviews helped me make my decision for the perfect dress for my friend's wedding. I loved having the option of 2 sizes as I rented this around the holiday time and wasn't sure which would fit. I received so many compliments while wearing this dress and had a hard time returning it. I'd love to add it to my closet collection some day!

Sleeves were a little long, but I rolled them up and it worked perfectly. I was probably in between a M and S, but the M was great for a work atmosphere. The material is very thick, so definitely better when it's cold out!

I worn this for a charity concert and it was perfect! Lots of compliments!!! The only "negative" is that it's pretty tight so the band of my hose showed a little. I'd recommend thigh highs instead of control top hose. It's neoprene. Just an awesome dress.

Wore this for my holiday party .. The medium was the only size available and thankfully it fit perfectly. It is tight but hugs in all the right places. I did wear spanx tights with it. Both men and women couldn't get enough of the dress. It was a smashing hit. Thank you RTR. I will certainly rent this dress again.

The dress is the perfect mix of classy and sexy. The neoprene material is very thick and great to keep you warm in the cooler months. The fabric is very tight. It will show any curves you may have. I am quite small up top. The dress does flatten your chest quite a bit. While you can wear the dress without a bra I chose not to because it made me look completely flat from the side. Overall I loved this dress and will rent again!

I received so many compliments. The dress was very flattering and forgiving. The material is on the thick side but I didn't mind it at all. I felt it was the right balance of sexy and presentable.

I wore this dress for an anniversary date night with my husband. The neoprene fabric was so unique and very comfortable - I received several compliments throughout the evening. I thought the Small fit ok but, at the last minute I opted to go with the Medium (my backup) because we were going to a multi-course dinner (hey, I wanted to eat!). The sleeves were a little big but, not oddly so. I wore Spanx underneath for a little extra warmth on a chilly Fall evening. I loved this dress and really enjoyed wearing it. My husband liked it so much he wanted me to keep it!

I rented a Medium and it was slightly large for me. Didn't realize that the neoprene fabric is like a spanx. The arms were long on me, but I folded it under and it wasn't noticeable. Also, the dress itself bunched up at the top and I had to pull it down whenever I stood up. For reference, I'm 5'2", 120 lbs.

I actually really loved this dress, but it is skin tight and even with the scuba style fabric, it took me a little while to feel comfortable in it. But it had a lot of give, and is very comfortable. Didn't ride up and the cut outs were my favorite part.

I wore this dress to celebrate NYE in New York City! The neoprene material is warm and the dress fit very comfortably--perfect for a winter event. I loved the cutout pattern on the chest and sleeves. The one downside of this dress is that it does not emphasize curves very well. The medium size fit snugly around my shoulders and bust but was looser around the waist than I would have liked. I would rent this dress again.

Ran a little larger than I expected - I usually wear a small and ordered a medium to be safe. The small was a little big everywhere except the arms. It wasn't as tight on the bottom hem as it should have been, so it poked out to make a little duck-tail. I tucked the bottom hem up so it wasn't as visible. It was also a very warm dress to be dancing in. The cutouts on the arms are a little itchy at first but I forgot about it later on (your arm hair might poke out funny a little bit) I did get loads of compliments and there definitely wasn't anything like it at the dance! Looks fabulous. Not sure if I'd rent it again.

Pros: Got A LOT of compliments on the dress. It was the appropriate length for a semi-formal winter cocktail party. Fit perfect on top. Sleeves were just the right length and width - any more and it would have been too baggy. Cons: A bit tight around the booty, so not 100% perfect for my pear-shaped body. I made it work, but had to scrap any undergarments with seams as they were very obvious under the tight fabric. The fabric was also fairly warm. I was sweating a bit by the end of 2 hours of socializing (and I was hardly moving around). Great for a winter event, but probably not appropriate for anything in the summer. Cut outs fall a bit low, so be cautious with a bra. I had to keep pulling up on the front of the dress. And bigger and the sleeves would have been too big. Overall, this dress was just about the right size on top (maybe could have done a M), but a bit too tight on bottom.

The dress ran large; I usually wear a small and I ended up wearing the XS. Also, the dress was extremely long. I ended up rolling up the bottom about 3-4 inches. But other than that, it was perfect! The cutouts made the dress.

Definitely runs small. I got the small and medium and I could not even get the small on. I love the laser cut details on the sleeves and bodice. The bodice is a little revealing so I had to try several bras before I found one that worked. The material is like scuba suit material. Over all: perfect for a nice evening.

Probably not the best choice for a pear shape as the bottom was stretching over my hips and the fabric looked loose up top. However I was definitely the best dressed there and received tons of compliments. The cut outs were eye catching and a fantastic detail. Also, loved the samples! Great surprise!

When I saw this dress on this site, I thought that it was a show stopper! When I received it and put it on, I just didn't really care for it. My husband approved it before I purchased it but even when he saw me in it, his eyes didn't light up like they normally do. It's not a bad dress. I just didn't feel pretty in it. I did receive compliments all evening. But I still didn't really care for it.

I wore this dress for a NYE event and it was great! The material is very thick, almost like a wet suit (think scuba material) but it was very stretchy and I felt it was very flattering. I love the cut outs in the neckline and sleeves. Paired with a pair of sparkly silver flats and it looked great! Would definitely recommend!

I'm 5'5 and 150 lbs I usually were M size but it runs big hopefully I ordered S and the M as backup! It fitted perfectly the only thing is it goes up when you walk but it's feel comfortable maybe if the dress were shorter wouldn't happen . Overall I love it!!

I wanted to try this dress for a NYE's dinner. The forecast called for temperatures in the low 20s so I knew that a scuba material dress would be perfect. I typically wear smalls and size 4 but the small in this case looked bad as it bunched up around the stomach and made me look like I had rolls! The XS actually fit better because it hugged me everywhere. I wore a deep cut strapless bra and you could still see a bit of my black bra but it worked with the dress. I went bare-legged to the restaurant and wore a long coat and felt fine! Even if you overheated in this dress you wouldn't be able to see any sweat because of the material but I didn't have that problem. I would buy is dress!

Dress is awesome. Material is heavier so it was VERY hot in the club we were in. Fits true to size BUT was a bit large due to the stretch. Overall I got TONS of compliments on the dress and would rent again!

This dress is slimming but not super forgiving. It's made of scuba material so it's thick however it's tight so it's going to show everything. I wore the large because the medium showed my bra line more than I wanted especially for the event. The medium did however fit. It's a bit difficult to get into since you have to pull the it over your head. Also warm so great for evening or fall/winter.

A few areas felt like there was extra fabric but overall fit well and was fun to wear out. It was a little longer than I would have liked but I have short legs.

Beautiful dress, I wore it for my husbands birthday dinner. Like other reviewers, the cut outs at the bodice are low, so I just wore it with pasties instead of a bra. The cutouts make the dress special without it being too over the top. The fabric is thick and prefect for cold weather nights. The dress rode up a bit, but that was expected for me. I would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Thick material - fun date night dress. Not as fitted as other Clover Canyon dress - but this is perfect for a chilly night!

I am usually a size medium, but it wasn't available so I decided to "suck it up" and get the small and I am so glad I did. Don't get me wrong I was wearing two pairs of spanx with this dress since it definitely clings to every inch of your body, but, I have never felt so slim, so gorgeous and so festive! It is made of that scuba material so its warm but also contours with your body. My fiancé couldn't keep his hands off of me.

I wore this dress to a dinner party for my husbands work. Overall this dress was great. It fit well and wasn't too short. It hit me at about mid thigh. I have arms a little on the muscular side so the sleeves were a little snug but not uncomfortable. Great dress if you want to make a subtle statement.
