The laser cut areas are subtle and beautiful and the dress is slimming and comfortable. I highly recommend this for attending formal events.

Rented this as a backup for a wedding in Vegas. My primary dress rocked, so I wore this out for dinner the night before. More flattering than the pics show in person. I wore the small, it's a bit tough to get into, but once you're in it hugs curves, flatters and is very comfortable. I loved the neckline and the bottom of the dress. Easier to get off than on.

So much better than a plain old LBD. This was a great piece, and was so comfortable to wear! Highly recommend!

I loved this dress and got a lot of compliments! It's perfect for a more conservative event but still fun and stylish! It is very body conscience so seamless undergarments are a must!

I wore this dress to a holiday gala. I ordered a medium and a small and decided on the medium as it fit better across my broader shoulders. The top cut out section is low so I needed a low cut strapless bra in order for it not to be seen through the cut out section. I thought the dress was very flattering and I would rent it again!

I wasn't sure I would like the length of this dress on me, but it was excellent! The small fit slightly large along the zipper seam in the back, but I still opted to go with the small rather than the xs because the tighter fit showed a bit too much detail in the undergarments I had (and I didn't plan ahead enough to have underwear alternatives!) Aside from those issues, I loved this dress and would rent it again!

The extra small was snug but the size small fit too big. Decided on the extra small. Overall I would rent the dress again, received lots of compliments. Did not wear any control garments but could have improved the tummy area. The dress did get a bit warm inside the venue as the night went on - there was lots of dancing going on.

This dress is fabulous! The signature CC scuba material is super flattering (no need for a bra or Spanx or anything like that) and the design is unique, but still a classic LBD. So many compliments, so comfortable, perfect!

This dress fits like a glove. I was able to move freely in it, I felt sexy in it, and I was in no rush to get out of it. It hugged every curve of my body perfectly. The only problem I had with undergarments, is you have to wear the thinnest undergarments, otherwise you will see them. Other than that, this dress gets an A+.

The dress is fairly low cut, self adhesive cups recommended. The dress is form fitting so I opted to wear the Small for comfort as the X-Small was tight. Overall, the dress is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend highly recommend the dress and would definitely wear it again.

I wish I had a full length picture of this dress because it was awesome. I ordered a small and a medium (I'm quite curvy in the booty) and I went with the small. It fit snug like it was supposed to. It was incredibly comfortable and was perfect for a winter cocktail party. The material is thick, but I wasn't too hot at any point of the night. I got a ton of compliments on it!

It was prefect! The small fit well and was really easy to move in. I did wear a stick on bra that worked perfectly. It was about 45 degrees at the wedding and my blazer and scarf worked fine over the dress. Another great rent the runway experience!

I wore this gorgeous dress to my cousin's wedding in September. It fit like a dream and was insanely comfortable. I got compliments all night long — even the bride's parents singled me out at brunch the next morning and told me how gorgeous it was. And, since there's a little stretch to the material, it was easy to dance in all night. Too bad I couldn't say the same about my shoes!

I had to work a black-tie through my job and wore this dress for the event. I wanted something that wasn't overly fancy or fussy as I needed to be running around. I thought the laser-cut detailing and length made it a bit fancier, which I supplemented with updo, makeup, and big earrings. While this dress worked well for my occasion, I wouldn't say that there is anything particularly stand-out about it, and wouldn't recommend it if you're hoping to do just that.

The dress is pretty low cut. I chose to wear a silver sequined Cami underneath and it gave it a little pop of color.

It's listed as good for hourglass, which I am. I was nervous about fit - got the Large with no back up. It fit great, although it says it's "very" fitted in the waist and that's not how it was for me. Pros: Tons of compliments! Traveled great to out of town wedding with it, and it looked GREAT right out of my suitcase. Perfect for a 1:30 PM wedding, and continued to be appropriate for a reception and late-night after party! Cons: The grosgrain ribbon trim around the arms rubbed after many hours of wearing it (and raising my arms dancing!) It has a very short zipper, so definitely put it on before hair and make-up happens... it's a bit of a wrangle to get into. I wore a slip underneath to smooth things out (it had clear straps, for support), and that worked great so I didn't have line from Spanx, then line from bottom of bra. Overall, great first experience with RTR. I will definitely do this again.

It was looser than Clover Canyon usually is, and the laser cutouts are dangerously close to revelation for the bustier gal. I couldn't wear it in the end, as I am far too short to make it work.

This dress is absolutely beautiful, but did not flatter me. I was hoping that since it was black and because I've had luck with clover canyon's other tight dresses, this one would work too... But not so much on me. I carry a lot of my extra weight in the tummy region, and this dress definitely did not hide it! The dress is very tight and narrow, and made of neoprene material. I'm tall so the length worked, but I would imagine that this would be an awkward length for shorter women. Make sure you put this on before doing your hair, deodorant, and makeup because it's hard to get into. I would also recommend a Demi-cup bra, as full-coverage bras can be seen through the cutouts. I loved this dress and would definitely revisit it if I, Ya know... Get to the gym in 2015 :)

The fit was fine, I think the thickness of the fabric helped my curves look better than a more clingy dress would. The thickness of the fabric also felt strange to wear. I would not wear this dress again, but it was a great piece for a formal event where I wanted to stand out slightly. I had a strapless bra that I used stylist tape to hold into place because the scoop neck with the cut outs is very low - my bra would have peeked out a bit otherwise. The zipper stuck out a bit in the back, it was not flush.

I found this dress to be very unflattering. Even though it is a black dress made out of what looks like a neoprene-type material, it accentuated all the wrong parts of my body and was very unforgiving. Plus, it was very difficult to get into, as it is long and not very stretchy and you have to put it over your head. It only zips down a few inches. It is also a strange length (it came down to my mid-calf) and made walking a bit difficult since your stride is constricted by the dress. Also, while the cutouts look more prominent on the model, they did not seem to stand out when I wore it. You could barely tell there were cutouts. I would not rent this dress again.

It fitted completely. So I worn a Spanx under this dress.

Wore this for "Overly Formal Thursday" at work and won the traveling trophy (awarded monthly)! Dress was great, loved fhe fabric and fit, classy and comfortable.

Dress fit great! It was a great material, kind of like a wetsuit and so it was very flattering. I am 5'6, 125 lbs and the XS fit perfectly, the Small was my backup size and it was definitely too big. The cutouts over the chest were pretty low, though, so I just made sure to wear a solid black strapless bra and then it wasn't noticeable.

The fit felt snug and made me feel very slender and comfortable.

This dress is utterly beautiful. At first I couldn't figure how to get it on, as it wouldn't go over my head. Even called RTR to ask if they had another. They didn't. The zipper is very short in back, only about 6-8 inches. I was desperate as I had nothing else planned. Finally stepped into it, and slid it up. Perfect. Very sexy, but subtle.

I'm 5'7", 140 lbs and wore the small. The fit was great. The only downside to the dress is that it is very difficult to get into, but once on it felt great and looked great. I received many compliments on it.

This dress was a crowd-pleaser! It was perfect for a fall wedding - it's tight, but long, falling to the shin. The detail on the top of the dress was stunning. I received many compliments all night. I didn't wear a bra because the detail dipped too low, but wearing pasties did the trick. The only con I have is that the shiny material shows off every bump and roll on your body, no matter how slim you are, however, that problem was fixed with Spanx.

Wore this to a rehearsal dinner. Has similar material to a wetsuit which was a plus. Very flattering with my curves. My mom has a different body type than me and the dress fit her well too!

This dress was so gorgeous on! It was very very form fitting but hugged all the right places. I'm on the shorter side so I wore pretty high heels to make up for the dress being midi length. I wore a normal black bra and because I wore my hair down it wasn't a problem at all! I got so many compliments and I think it pictured really well on top but not so much on bottom, which didn't bother me because it looked great in person! I'd definitely recommend it to girls who are curvier as I think it compliments the back side really well! As a tip - do your hair after you get the dress on, it only has a little zipper up top for your head.

I felt so great in this and my husband loved it too. Wish I could buy it! You need a very low cut bra, maybe a balconet- I just wore a black bra which was visible but not noticeable. Received lots of compliments. Waist tended to bunch a little but nothing too bad. Would definitely recommend and hope to rent again!

I absolutely loved this dress. So comfortable and very flattering. I normally am between a small or medium and chose to wear the small. The lace cut out are just enough to add a little detail but aren't to revealing. Be carful with a bra because the lace cut outs do go low at the top. I just wore a black bra and you couldn't tell. Overall I loved the dress and wouldn't rent it again!!

I definitely went with the size down and it got great. The material was very unique. Almost like a wetsuit but very flattering. The lazed cut details were beautiful and subtle enough that I still felt covered at a formal event.

The XS fit perfectly. I am now a huge fan of neoprene because it is so comfortable and stretchy, yet still elegant. I am 5'3" and the length hit right about mid-shin. The cutouts are sexy but not overly so- it was still appropriate for a work event.
