Fit true to size. I’m 5’8” and it came about mid calf on me. Sandals would have been perfect, but I was traveling and wanted to wear sneakers which made me look stumpy. Would recommend wearing with sandals instead of sneakers

Wore this dress for a daytime work event. It was high-quality and well made which made the fit incredible. The ruching is very flattering across the mid section and really gave some shape where I don’t have much. Loved that this was dressed up enough to not have to wear a blazer. Ironed well after traveling with it for several days. Will rent again for sure!

Trust the other reviewers that mention the extra material around the waist and chest. I’m not entirely sure why it’s there and it sticks out a bit, well on me it did. I eventually put on a belt to keep the area tight and kept my arms by my side. Overall it was a decent work rental, but I wouldn’t rent it again. 2/4 top, 6/8 pants, 28/29 waist.

You can’t tell from the photo but this dress accentuates the tummy area and butt. Not flattering. On me, it also had a weird fit and wasn’t comfortable. The slit is too high and also neckline is too low for work.

The fit in the hips and waist was fine, but the bust was too large (and I have a large bust) so it made for a top heavy look. Plus the drawstring skirt just made for a messy look.

If you are in between sizes and have a smaller waist, I would size down. Great dress and flattering fabric!

I was the DJ at a wedding and their colors were navy so I wore this. It was professional and yet not old looking and not crazy. Would be perfect for a work or semi formal situation here you don't want to be the center of attention but still look great. Quality very good. Fit nicely.
